#1 Best Seller and #1 New Release - LitRPG with heart!
At level five, Harvey has been rejuvenated. No longer hindered by his age, he and his adopted family will journey to Saito, to find their kidnapped allies.
The Eldritch Artisan isn’t just any adventure; it's a thrilling mix of dungeon crawling, base-building, and intense tower defense that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Join Harvey and Reacher as they navigate through uncharted territories, confront armies, and craft magical items that defy imagination. With ancient secrets waiting to be discovered and battles that test their limits, they might just achieve the impossible - reaching level six.
Base building and tower defense, there must be something in the water or I just read things in a serendipitous order or this is just what authors do in a series when they feel they need to shake things up
This was another good book, like the first two. I liked the action scenes, especially one at the end. When the introduction said there would be base building and the book started with the main characters going to a city, I thought it'd happen at that place. So, due to my false expectations, it was bit of a let down when the survial arc was inside a delve. Still, it was nice to have the adventure team joining the action. Looking forward to the next two books that'll complete the series and the author hinted that there might be follow up books as well!
I really liked the series at first; however, I have quickly gotten tired of Harvey and his bs. He is constantly confronted by the ugliness of humanity and instead tries to push through with optimism like a Disney princess.
That coupled with the “language” switching between drunk hillbilly and Shakespeare in the park… I just can’t anymore.
Sad to because I really liked the concept and the world, but way too much being dragged around and not enough actual progression.
I did enjoy the base building in this one, and it was fun seeing Harvey and friends continue to develop. The leveling being limited to one per oases and then Harvey constantly getting sidetracked from ever getting to them shtick is getting a bit ridiculous, but good story regardless.
Following the adventure of the last two books, this one picks up and continues building from there. A lot more action, and there’s more tied ends that just keep getting better. The ending was probably my favorite so far. I didn’t see it coming! If you liked the first two books, you need to read this!
This book and series has been a roller coaster of emotions. Ups and downs and a couple loop de loops I didn’t see coming! Can not wait till the next book is out!
4.5 stars. Just shy of "excellent," but didn't miss by much. Held my attention throughout, and showed enough character development and plot progression to make me want to read book 4. While it lacked the je ne sais quoi of a full 5-star book, I won't round it down. If you liked the first two books, this one has excellent pacing and shouldn't disappoint.
I really enjoy this series, and the main cast are great fun. The villains aren't fleshed out great. They have some basic motivations and goals, and its enough to be getting on with. A good story of the good guys beating the bad guys.
This series keeps giving great character interactions and fun action. This one was heavy on the the base building and crafting which I particularly enjoy. There are supposed to be two more in this series by the end of the year. I just hope they can keep up the pace and maintain the quality.
Story: Dropping series, when I started the series I was looking for slice of life and crafting , no war and politics, enough of that in the real world. This is a me thing, the books are well written, just not my cup of tea. Onto my next adventure, Happy Readings!!!
A great addition to the series Harvey gets a tower defense section, which was totally epic. Harvey continues to grow, and his relationship with Tabitha and reacher continues to expand. Plus we get to meet all of Lucas’ adventuring companions. The whole lot are great. I particularly love Felodin.
Already a great book in the series as far as story progression goes, and then he hits you with the feels. Not going to say more on account of spoilers, but family stuff always gets me right in the waterworks.
Some may like it, but this is where I stopped reading. It just got to be to much of a soft magic system, which is not my jam. Fun characters and story though!
About half of this book was a dungeon delve, but most of that was taken up by Harvey building things, so not too much of a drag. The ending was nice though. It brought a tear to my eye.
