Annie finds herself in a whole new level of hell. The men who love her go from golden to morally gray to find her.
Buckle up, buttercups. This is going to be a difficult ride; with no HEA in sight. Yet.
Annie-
I finally had a shot at a real relationship. And not with one sweet, caring man; but four. All fun, funny, and uniquely fantastic. And they chose me.
But, now I'm here, in this dungeon, paying for the sins of my past.
Will I ever get to see my babies again? My men?
Will they even want me after this?
I let them see me, but who can save me?
The Gospel Boys
Vince- She let us in! That strong, firecracker of a woman let us in. But now she's gone. And I have a decision to do I keep following my ethical, and legal, obligations to trust the PD, or do I find another way to get her?
Jenson- Our morning started on cloud nine, then we plummeted into the depths of hell by the afternoon. How could this happen? And how do we get her back?
Cory- Annie's past ripped me apart, but I know we're her future. Now she's disappeared. Poof. Gone. The pieces won't click together and I can't formulate a way to make it work. Without her, we're lost. So, very lost.
Nick- In the span of 24 hours I was torn apart, stitched together, then obliterated. The extreme highs and lows have me feeling ways I haven't felt since I was young. I'm constantly floating between reality and a nightmare. The problem with that is, I'm not sure I want to wake up.
I really enjoyed the second book in this series but please see the triggers since this book is a lot darker than the first.
There's no spice in this one but it makes sense to keep it that way so I'm intrigued to see how book 3 is going to go!

Annie and the Gospel Boys are back at it after her disappearance... The love those men have for her is absolutely heart warming and the fact that they are ready to torch down the earth to find her is just ❤️❤️
Wow! Tris has done it again! Completely took my breath away! I was on the edge of my seat through the entire book! Actually since the beginning of the series because I cannot stop thinking about it. The character’s lives definitely get intense, but Tris Wynters does a beautiful job telling their stories! I cannot wait to see where she takes us next! I’m still patiently waiting for my HEA. 🥺😂
Some Tropes: 🚨 MMMMF 🤍 Single Mom 🚨 Morally Gray 🤍 Save Her
The Characters:
Annie is a single mom, protecting her kids, and running from a past that seems to never let her out of its clutches. She is a victim, traumatized, and scared, but wears the mask of happiness and strength. Not just for her kids and friends, but for herself.
Vince is the police officer who helps Annie with her case. He is enamored by her the first time he sees her, but makes no move to tell her, of course. He is a fierce protector by nature.
Nick is a “nerd” who grew up in a heartbreaking environment. He is introverted and doesn’t let people in easily. He has a huge heart, but rarely shows it.
Cory is the planner. Obsessive to a T, doesn’t like change, and likes everything exactly how it should be. He’s very observant and notices little things others might miss.
Jensen is quirky, quick to make jokes to lighten the mood, and very forward about his feelings. He feels deeply and openly. He is protective of his family unit and loves his “brothers” with such ferocity.
The Drama:
Annie is missing. No one knows what happened or where she went, all they know is that her mom reported her missing.
Annie is deep in a trafficking situation where she is abused, humiliated, and assaulted. That doesn’t stop her from standing up for her girls though. Although scared, she is fierce and prepared for battle every time.
The men do everything they can to find her. Tap into different sides of the law, meet with people they shouldn’t be meeting with, and do whatever they can to find their girl.
My Opinion:
This is BOOK TWO of the trilogy, so my review picks up where my last one left off.
I love love love this trilogy so far. I’m hooked. The story has me captivated, the cliffhangers have me begging for the next book, and I am HERE. I am here for the ending and so ready to see what Tris Wynters has done!
If you want a series that will keep you on your toes, this one’s for you. Trust me, you need to read it!
I devoured this book in just over two hours. I seriously could not put it down! It’s one of those reads that you seriously want to get to the last page to know what happens, but at the same time not wanting it to end! What a journey you’re taken on?! I have to admit there wasn’t hardly as much giggling as there was when reading the first book but the way the writing evokes such emotion is amazing. This story follows the boys in their efforts to find and save Annie, whilst we’re living the hell that Annie is going through right alongside her. I’m in that space after finishing a book where you don’t know how to feel…knowing that I feel like my heart has been shattered and only slightly patched back up! But it is soo worth it. I’m so bloody invested in this series and am waiting impatiently for the next instalment….Tris’ writing is blowing me away. Save Me definitely tackles issues that are a lot more hard hitting than the first book, so if anyone is considering reading, please please please make sure you check the trigger warnings and take them seriously. For those that can deal with the content, I would 100% recommend!
Main Takeaway : The guys are ready to do anything to get Annie back.
Synopsis : Annie is finally able to open up to the guys and enjoys an evening with them after they all show their scars. Then she disappears and the guys are determined to find her. They will do anything they have to even if it means them turning morally grey to do it. Vince being the cop he is only takes a second to agree with Nick and then Cory and Jenson are of course in.
Personal Thoughts: I loved this book. Just like See Me (book 1) it hooks you from the beginning and doesn't let you go. I loved how it picked up perfectly from where book 1 left off… Now that cliffhanger……. She got me with that I was like what no no no I need to keep reading. 🙂
Recommendation: 100% I would/will recommend this book/ series!!!!
The threating messages Annie was receiving in book one have consequences. Annie has been kidnapped by her ex boyfriend, a man with ties to a human trafficking ring called the Black Thorns, shortly after returning home. It's a race against the clock to find her before she's moved or killed. Vince, Jenson, Nick, and Cory try to do things the legal way but frustration and impatience have them turning to less than legal methods. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! I finished the book in just over an hour and it was one of those books that I didn't want it to end. I cannot wait for book three!
Annie and the Gospel Boys are back at it after her disappearance. Devoured this book without pausing. Definitely recommend! CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS!! Tris Wynters does a beautiful job telling their stories! I cannot wait to see where she takes us next! I’m still patiently waiting for my HEA. This book was deliciously dark and tantalizing. I couldn’t put it down until the end. I can't wait for the next book!
Annie literally goes through hell in this book, mentally, emotionally and physically. Lukas, and those like him, need a good dose of what's coming to him. And it's coming in the form of 4 badass men and their new found friends. Amazing read. Don't skip out on this one either. Like normal, check your TW. This isn't for the faint of heart..... Hopefully, this harem will get their HEA in book 3. I need it soon! I have a cliffhanger hangover!
I loved this book. it pick up from the cliffhanger from See Me. It hooks you from the beginning and doesn't let you go. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I couldn’t put it down for anything.
The Author did an incredible job with the Character Development and the surrounding world. I was sucked into this book from the beginning and was completely in my feelings. Please check trigger warnings before starting!
This books sinks its hooks in from the very beginning, the first page. It starts right up after the cliffhanger of book 1 and doesn't leave you asking questions for too long. I was on the edge of my seat for more of this book than not. It is DARK and twisted, check the triggers before diving in. Annie is one bada*s b*t*h and I have so much appreciation for her. She threw herself into danger to save other woman and that is just amazing. Nick, Jensen, Vince, and Cory are the perfect definition of book boyfriend material. They risked their lives, careers, and everything else to save Annie and I love that for them. I completely understand why there was no romance in this book but I surely hope in book 3 we get to see some spice from this amazing relationship brewing.
Holy moly Trys did it again! This was another emotional roller coaster starting right where book one ended. The way she had me feeling everything the girls and Annie felt. The breakdown moments where you fight back regardless of consequences. I loved how Annie's men show their own fight in being willing to do what must be done to find Annie. Each of her men show their strength and weaknesses but they are a family through and through. I can't wait to see how Annie and the girls deal with the trauma and if any friendships emerge. I want to see how Annie picks up and how her and the guys find healing! ❤️🩹 An absolute must read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
