This is the true story of Gordon Brace and his wife Elisabeth, alongside three friends, as they attempt to be the first ever to cross the Indian Ocean in a 40-foot single-engine game fishing motor boat. A journey spanning 4000 sea miles from Sri Lanka in the East to the African coastline of Kenya. It's a story of endurance and survival, facing enormous seas that led to being stranded on a deserted, uninhabited tropical island within one of the most remote atolls and pristine archipelagos to be found anywhere in the world.

Incredible book and story. In this book, he illustrates the thrill and excitement of living life on the edge, and even though things don't go right, it doesn't mean you can't thrive. This book is fast-paced and action-packed. You will not want to put the book down and finish wanting more. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a fantastic true story.
