Mars Trilogy #2B

Rate this book

Another outstanding story that sheds light on the evolutionary process that led to the terrestrialization of Mars. Through this, we are provided with a comprehensive illustration of the steps that the areomorphology, the atmosphere, and the formation of urban centres are required to go through. At the same time, we have come to realise how challenging it is for a major organisation that has recently been formed to discover its identity and deal with forces that are more powerful and more established than it is. This is because of the conflicts that have arisen between the "reds," the "greens," the first 100, and other groups.
There are a series of images that follow one another, including low brown and green moss in red, immense frozen plains of asymmetrically melted and congealed water, enormous glaciers, cities in the midst of nowhere waiting for water to become coastal, and enormous structures.
You are forced to think on multiple levels as you are presented with a canvas that combines elements of ecology, politics, science, and relationships. Incredible in every way, this is a fantastic science fiction story.
