I had high hopes for this book, all of these tropes are some of my favs! With that being said, I was a bit disappointed. It felt like a very rushed novella.
"Brother's best friend" seemed inaccurate to me, the MMC and brother rarely see each other and the brother could care less they were together, I guess I expected the normal brother gets mad part of the trope haha that could just be me! Haha
The spice was like closed door mixed with slightly open door lol their last 🌶️ scene was good. This would be great for those newbies just starting their spicy journey.
MMC was always saying he thought he loved her after 1 time together, it feels very unrealistic (I know it's only a book), but still lol
I did enjoy the plot tho!

Emily Greenwood she work in marketing at Steven’s Social media coordinator. She is smart, sexy, and independent. Grant is Steven’s CEO . He was intense, stoic, mysterious and guarded.
Grant and Emily had a chance meeting in a bar, they both felt the deep magnetic connection between them. Grant and Emily had this tumultuous relationship ( with outside factors contributions). Emily worked very hard to prove her worth in the company among the doubts of some co-workers.
Grant and Emily finally did get over the obstacles to have a Happily Ever After.
This book has intrigue, openness, general caring of the people and romance.
The books jumped around so much. FMC had a terrible personality. (Hot and cold) She came across as an immature brat. She ran to her brother because people were talking bad about her at work. Brother gets mad at him for sleeping with her when he had no clue they were related! FMC is angry at MMC most of the book over stupid things.
The ex hates him so much she started rumors about FMC sleeping her way into the position. The problem is it gave no context/background to the relationship. It just said the ex was terrible and used him (how?, why?)
