Matthew Kincaid perfectly presents the systemic racism issues in education and then gives us the tools to overcome them. He doesn’t pretend that it will be easy, but his words will inspire all educators to keep putting in the work so that all students succeed. I highly recommend this book to everyone in all levels of public education.

Kincaid's work, in leading intensives and in this book, push all educators to reflect and reframe the narratives of our systems, schools, and, most importantly, students. Every time I have the opportunity to learn from him, I walk away hopeful and empowered in work of anti-racism. Thank you for all you are and all you do.
