One dog too many
T.P. is Jeff's dog. Jeff is T.P.'s boy. That's the way T.P. likes it. Life is pretty good -- until a stinky, thumping, yapping box turns up at the front door. Jeff's friend Mandy has given Jeff a chocolate Lab puppy. They name her Mocha, and everything changes for T.P. Mocha drives him nuts with her endless chattering and questions. On top of all that, everyone keeps telling him to "be nice to the puppy." If only things could go back to the way they were before....
But when Mocha gets "GOOSED," will T.P. have the courage and compassion to come to her rescue?

About the author

Bill Wallace was an American teacher and later an author of children's books. He started writing to quiet down his fourth grade students, who loved his stories and encouraged him to make “real” books.

Bill Wallace grew up in Oklahoma. Along with riding their horses, he and his friends enjoyed campouts and fishing trips. Toasting marshmallows, telling ghost stories to scare one another, and catching fish was always fun.

Bill Wallace has won numerous children's state awards and been awarded the Arrell Gibson Lifetime Achievement Award for Children's Literature from the Oklahoma Center for the Book.

Bill Wallace died from Lung cancer on January 30, 2012.

Former elementary school teacher; West Elementary School, Chickasha, OK, principal, since 1977, and physical education teacher. Speaker at schools and universities in various states, including State University of New York and University of South Florida.

This is a cute enough tale for kids around 2nd or 3rd grade. Narrated by a dog,TP, who has to deal with a puppy his people are dog sitting. Not real action packed but slightly entertaining since it's written from the dog's perspective.

I think it was a moderate book. It was cute very childish wich is to be expected. I liked the book because it is about a dog and I am an animal person. Vocab was an easy read. the book is not very action packed like it is mostly just fluff. Not much critical info. I liked that it was about a kid who had problems telling his parents things and how he had to grow and help this puppy. It was a pretty good book. I enjoyed reading it. But i did not feel the need to read it constantly like a good book does.
"If you feel the urge, dont be afraid to be to go on a wold goose chase, what do you think wild geese are for anyway."
I believe that this quote tells us about how they are telling the puppy to go do as he pleases and make his own dissicions. To go against society and chase down that goose. Even though they can be dangerous to a puppy.
I believe that this book ks a very easy read. It has easy vocabulary and it was a simple plot. I would recommend this book for anyone under 12 or dog lovers. As well as anyone who enjoys reading kids stories.

T.P. lives in a quiet house with a quiet family. The only big noises are when the cat falls on the piano But that very mourning a puppy comes to live with them for a week. A noisy puppy that leaks and no one notices the dog they already have, except when he is angry at that puppy.

Reasons I like this book-

Reason 1- It is a story with two dogs.

Reason 2- It kept me entertained.

Reason 3- The cat is funny.

This is a fun book for 7-9 year olds (definitely reads a little young - the canine narrator calls a phone a "ringie-thingie") about a bird dog who is quite content with life with his family (which includes a clumsy but cool cat) until the young boy gets a chocolate Lab puppy. She's HYPER and has a zillion questions. Will T.P. learn to accept the little one? It's all very cute and heartwarming! And Wallace really understands dogs - great characterization.

This was a fun book. T.P Jeff's dog it has the life with his family. Until one day when Jeff's friend is going away on a trip for spring break and she asked Jeff to take care of her dogs pup. Jeff somehow talked his mom and dad into it. Tp isn't to excited about having a loud puppy buy him. All the attention has Gone away from him. I would read this if your into dogs

I liked this book. It was very cute. Lots of stuff going on at once - a dog learning how to adapt to another pet in the house, a budding romance and a puppy learning about her new world. Very descriptive book!

a grate book for children and adult who likes a happy ending

I really liked this book because it was a interesting topic and it was heartwarming. It got my attention right of the bat because I could relate with so much because I have a dog and he gets jealous when other dogs are around. This book is a very good book if your looking for a heartwarming, relate able book, then I highly recommend Goosed by Bill Wallace, you will not regrate reading this book.

In the book "Goosed" by Bill Wallace there is a dog named T.P Who is loving living with his owner Jeff, until a new dog, a chocolate Lab named mocha. There becomes a competition between T.P and Mocha, the competition brings heartwarming moments and Intense moments. I hope you read this book.
