Leighton Van Doreen-Blair has a reputation as the school's mean girl, making it difficult for her to find a tutor despite the need to pass her grades for high school graduation. On the other hand, Serenity Paris is known for her cleverness among friends and her kind nature towards family, and she becomes an uncompromising tutor. It is when their paths converge, and they require each other's help that their encounter takes place.

If you have ever read Loathing You by Amina Khan and loved that book then you will feel the same way about this book. The enemies-to-lovers trope is one of my absolute favorite tropes to read. I love the characters mainly Kinsley and Emerson and the self-discovery in the book for Emerson's character. There were a few typos in the book, but other than that Peyton's writing for the characters and the third POV was amazing. This book became one of my favorites of 2024, so thank you for your amazing book. I wish we had more moments of Kinsley and Emerson instead of Kinsley and Aubrey, but I love Charlie's development. Peyton, your book was amazing to read and I can't wait to read the next book. Keep going!!
