You think it's easy being a moose? Think again! Even though I'm big, I'm just a baby. I love my mother and my friends. Like Dudley, the beaver, who named me. And Snow, the little wolf, who loves to play tag. His family's another matter. What really scares me is people. Mother said they're the most dangerous creatures in the forest. I certainly didn't want to meet them.... Snow and I are young, so naturally we're curious. One day we were playing tag...and ran into a schoolyard by mistake! (Okay...we didn't run -- we fell!) Right smack in the middle of all these strange animals, weird buildings, and terrifying machines. Yoweeee! Did we ever learn a lesson there....
Once there was a little moose who couldn’t walk for about 15 minutes strait. He finally started to walk. Then he wanted to go see people who were the most dangerous creatures on earth. He goes to see people in cars and does not know what they are. He also has trouble coming up with a name. Then a beaver helps him with his name. When he talked, he called the moose bub. And the moose named himself Bub. Bub went onto a cliff with his mom to see people and met a tiny wolf named Snow. Snow wanted to play tag, so Bub thought why not. So, Bub played a few rounds until these wolves came (Part of snows pack) and Bub thought they were scary, so he took a step back and then Snow ran into Bub and they fell off a cliff. Then they can’t find their moms and so they wander around the city for a few days until they arrive at a football parade and then Bub’s father finds them and Snow finds his family and they learn a valuable lesson. Not to play tag on a cliff.
I personally loved this book, so I can’t wait to read the next in the series. I would recommend this book to people that like adventure and friendship.
I gave this book four stars because Bub Moose got lost because he was playing with a wolf named Snow near a cliff's edge. Bob and Snow tried to find a way to come back up the cliff, but they couldn't. Finally, Bub's father found them and brought them back into the woods. Then, all the wolves surrounded Bub and his mother and his father. His father made them go away, but when they left, Snow and Bub winked at each other. -by Felicity
