A dark motorcycle club romance with triggers. This spicy bwwm romance is a heated enemies-to-lovers adventure and third in a series of interconnected standalone small town organized crime stories set in the Midwestern US with a black female lead and a smokin' white alpha. Extremely spicy romance not for the faint hearted.

My least favorite book of the series thus far. This book was a complete waste of my time. Truly, I could have skipped it. Tamiya got on my nerves from start to finish. Obviously, because of the way the couples meet, we expect resistance from the female character; we expect her to be hostile in the beginning and try to escape. But, I don't know if it's because I'm reading these books back-to-back or what, I really just cannot. The incessant screaming and kicking and fighting that goes on for like 60% of the book is repetitive and annoying. This is the third book in the series, and it's like reading the same book over and over with different female character names. Maybe switch things up with a different way for the couples to meet, or change the female character's strategy to escape? Quiet planning, escape artist maybe? Nobody can hear them screaming anyway. Why am I being made to endure this? Even after they start falling in love, being attracted, they're just difficult, contrary and argumentative. Stop. You already want him. Now, you're just being unpleasant. For what?? Can we maybe get a different version of a strong black woman? Strong, silent type, maybe? LOL
When Gideon told Tamiya he loved her I bust out laughing. What?? Where, how, and when did that happen? She was literally spitting on you last week. The whole thing was ridiculous and unbelievable. At least the first two couples, you could understand. This, I just rolled my eyes the rest of the book.
The way the books are written, things are explained that weren't explained in previous books, so you inevitably are literally re-reading parts of a previous book, word for word, as whole scenes get retold. Even with that, we still don't know exactly how Juliette tracked Tamiya to that hotel. I re-read the section three times. The whole Oske kidnapping thing made no sense at all. I guess will be explained in a future book. That letter made me roll my eyes HARD. "I guess I'm meant to be on the run." Girl, shut up.
There are still continuity issues. Gideon asks Tamiya how long it's been since she was with someone. She says over five years. On the next page, he asks why it's been ten years. Huh? I had to go back like am I going crazy? Tamiya goes to the house where Anna is and the lady says Anna is in the basement. Gideon and other two bikers hear that, and because it's confirmed, figure they can just storm the basement. On the next page, Gideon says 'Call so and so, Anna is probably in there.' What?? In book 2, Tamiya finds the tracker and leaves it with Juliette, so how in this book is Gideon able to track her to her location with Rebecca? Was there some kind of time jump? It seems like the book is written in parts, then put together, with no one reading the final book before it went to publishing. Also,
As a total deviation from the first two books, the sex wasn't even good! That's usually the saving grace. Nope. Didn't help. At no point did I think Gideon and Tamiya were in love. And, just as I was feeling hopeful because Cash and Quin meet like two normal people, I see he kidnapped her. Sigggghhhh. I'll see how far I make it. This might be the end of the road.
Reaper & Tamiya make an interesting, unlikely couple!
This third installment in the Rebel Barbarians MC series kept me hooked from the first to the last page. It’s an interracial romance with a great, flowing plot and very well-developed, flawed characters that gave me all the feels. Their flaws is what made them so real in my eyes. Although each book explores a particular couple, they are interconnected, so it’s best to read them in order. A few years ago, Reaper (Gideon) murdered a woman in cold blood under extreme circumstances and the guilt is eating him up from the inside out. Tamiya spends years investigating the circumstances under which her sister went missing. Her investigation led her to Reaper’s – and the rest of the Rebel Barbarians we got to know and love in the previous books – path. Reaper is hard around the edges to say at least (all the guys in Rebel Barbarians are) and Tamiya is determined, stubborn and volatile. These two together are an explosive combination. So, a rollercoaster of events occur – events that turn both Reaper and Tamiya’s world upside down. Dark themes, vengeance, hidden secrets, tormented pasts, kidnappings but also acceptance, friendships and the sense of family– this story had everything and then some! Can Reaper and Tamiya find redemption, peace and solace in one another? What did really happen all those years ago, and to Tamiya’s sister? I couldn’t put the book down – the twists and turns blew my mind! And the hotness was off the charts! I can’t wait for the next one! 5 stars!

This was the last book in the box set and in some ways my favorite. really like the character development of Reaper, Gideon. One his character was interweaved throughout books. One and two and you got a that he had some heart, but also had some problems. This book definitely did a great job of fleshing out his character. Character. After finishing this book, I would definitely say that he's my favorite character and has shown the most growth throughout the series. He realizes that he has hate in his heart and is committed to fixing it because of his love for Tamiya. liked her character and I appreciated her dedication to find out who her sisters killer was. However, it would have been nice to have more character development. What was the real reason? She was always on the run? What happened to her sister while she was gone? There was mention of her running with another biker gang. What happened during that time? I'm assuming that the answer to these questions will come out later throughout the series, but I'm nosy and just need to know now. These books are not what I would typically read, but quite frankly I can't get enough. like the way that Jamila writes and like the characters. Tjust wish that they had more development within the book that I'm reading without having to go on to the next story.
I am a Jamila Jasper fan. I have thoroughly enjoyed her books, and I also liked her previous profile photo. It was far more organic, engaging, and didn’t look like thousands of other people.
The shero of this book was ridiculously out of her depth, and seemed bereft of common sense. Please give us a heroine with smarts, self awareness and the ability for critical decision making. I embrace the need to move the plot forward, but most people can determine that they need to obtain a full measure of facts. I mean life is not like Fox News where opinions masquerade as facts.
OMG this was another book by Jamila Jasper. I was steamy romance page turner and the suspense was amazing. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. This interracial romance were mind blowing of and action packed of romance of love pain and passion. As the drama is chaos and like a roller coaster ride. Now was their love indeniable of as the sparks were in the air of romance. I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones
Tamiya definitely do not take any mess, she was perfect for Reaper. The loving was off the charts, I’m stilling trying to figure out who is the weak link. I really hope that Oske isn’t a trader, she just seemed like she has been through to much and need a break. The only sad part this is July 1 and I have to wait until August 5 for the next story. The only good part to that is I will have to re-read the first 3 then head to the new release story.
Each book gets better and better. Gideon and Tamiya are so funny together. Gideon's thought process is a true mystery. He can't figure out why he is wired so weirdly. I love the secret that was solved. Gideon was able to find redemption within himself. I do love that they have found love considering the way they got together. Speaking of getting together their hot steamy passionate lovemaking has your mouth hanging open.🔥🔥🔥🌶️🌶️🌶️🌡️🌡️🌡️ Looking forward to the next book.
I love this book too as well. I love the continue. Want to tell you what’s gonna happen next it’s a very exciting books. Have a lot of action in it. It’s like watching a TV show and you’re enjoying the show because it tells you every detail of everything is happening and then you go oh man you get mad why the person did that then you get happy oh that’s good and then you say oh they are good family, and really good bug I like it.
This book was amazing!!! I was so captivated on the story!! Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen, a monkey wrench was thrown in the mix!!! Jamila, you are truly an awesome writer!! I didn't put the book down until the very end, and afterword🥰🥰 I can't wait until the next part in the series!!!
This was a great book. Each book is better than the one before it. Reaper and Tamiya were a beautiful couple and I’m glad that they got together. I somehow knew that Reaper didn’t do what he thought he did and I’m glad that you wrote it into the story. I look forward to the next book.
Reaper was not expecting to fall in love with Tamiya. His boss dumps her off at his door stop. Tamiya wants revenge for the death of her sister by Reaper. Her sister was hanging out with the wrong man. The longer Tamiya stays with Reaper, the more she falls in love and so does Reaper. This story had a twist that you didn't see coming.
I am loving this series! I like that these guys and girls are humanly flawed! Nobody is a superhero! Just one flawed human loving another flawed human. Makes it more real. Can't wait for the next book!
I loved it another banger Jamila you can write your but off. I enjoy all ur books I have read so far.Didnt know if I would like this style of book but I absolutely love it. Thanks for the new book a series.

🍍I didn't see the twist coming but really happy with the ending. The Rebel Barbarians are starting to grow on me. I didn't think I would want to go past the first book but has been some really good adventures.
So happy that Gideon fell in love with Tam! I did get a little confused because I thought Wyatt’s kid was kidnapped! Looking forward to the next book 😆😆
I really wanted to like this book because I was intrigued to see a book that is part of a series of mixed race relationships. However, I did not enjoy the way the book was written. I gave it a chance and read it until the very end. The spice was good, and the story is a true enemies to lovers tale. However, there were too many negatives of the story and the writing style to fully enjoy this book. I noticed typos, and errors--so there was an issue with editing (at least in the edition that I purchased). *Mild spoiler* There was also a kidnapping scene towards the end of the book, which did not seem to make much sense with the plot, and I did not think it was resolved in a way that made sense. Overall, this is a book that I would not personally recommend, but every one has their own tastes and opinions.
