What was I thinking, asking the universe for true love? I should have known it was a terrible idea.
When Saint Garo entered my life, I knew trouble would follow.
I may have asked for tall, dark, and drop-dead gorgeous. But I didn’t count on that man manifesting as my new stepbrother.
Saint Garo is not just a man; he’s a walking paradox—dangerous, cold, and calculating, a law unto himself.
Destined to be next in line to take over his father’s criminal empire, he’s capable of crumbling worlds with a mere snap of his tattooed fingers.
I should resist his advances and heed his threats. I shouldn’t be thinking about my stepbrother at all.
But when his touch and whispers of forbidden love became a dangerous elixir, sparking a passion that bordered on ruin, every stolen moment with Saint felt like a sin I was born to commit.
A sin I’m not sure I want to break free from.

In the midst of a looming threat her relationships are tested and emotions run high throughout not just for her but Saint and her best friend both have to navigate the uncharted waters they find themselves in.

What a wild ride!! Saint and Lexy are the main POV but all the characters that I've have grown to love and hate are involved in this series.

Everything comes to blows in this book. From family betrayals, loyalty questions, heartbreak and heartache, and ultimate revenge. The MFCs in this series may be bullied and constantly dealing with hot and cold interactions with their MMCs, but they were strong and spunky and didn't lay down and take it. They gave just as good as they got most times.

This book tied up all the loose bits that were laid out in the prior books and boy were some of the twists unexpected. It was refreshing to read a Bully Romance that had an interesting plot from start to finish. The plot continued to build from book to book until it all came together at the end of this book.

I may have shed quite a few tears throughout this book and there were several times were my heart strings were pulled unexpectedly. Characters evolved and won me over and that ending!!! This is a definite must read series!

Definitely check trigger and content warnings, there are several topics that are address on page as well as off page but all in all a well rounded entertainment series. The tension and buildup in this series is intense and when the tension snaps it is spicy. DM Roberts is definitely an Author I'll be reading anything she puts out!

“Who do you belong to?”
“You.” I whimper.
“You can do better, Angel. I want to hear you say my name from those lips.”
“It’s you, Saint. I belong to you.”

This was the perfect ending to this series. We watched Saint become the man and boss that we all knew and wanted him to be. Lexy was just as amazing, and she really showed us what true love can help you overcome. Lexy also stood tall in this book. She did have a lot of drama to wade through, but she dealt with it like the strong Queen she is. It all came together in the end, and I was so happy for all of the characters. When I finished the book, I felt that all of my questions and concerns were laid to rest.
I absolutely LOVED the final book. I gave it 4.5 stars. I read this book in one night because it kept me so in trawled. It’s a fast paced, interesting read. I felt that I couldn’t put it down, because I needed to know what happened next.

I really enjoyed reading this story and I am following D. M. Roberts for any other stories she creates. She is quickly becoming an auto buy author for me. This was a series and I highly recommend to everyone.

Now. This. Is. What. You. Call. A. Mafia. Book. Broooo, the plot, the storyline, the execution, the whole journey from the starting point till the end was nothing but pure bliss, attraction, joy and satisfaction. The alpha-male energy is too immaculate and the 'look-at-her-and-you-d*e' energy was crackling within the air, enough that even behind the screen, you could feel it. I loved loved loved the mafia aspect of it. From the sneaky plots to loopholes to secret negotiations and the way the character finally put two and two together was mind-blowing. This book made you go on a rollercoaster of emotions, it held your heart, squeezed it, made sure that the author watched blood drip out of it lmao, and without making sure that she squeezed the entire life out of it, she breathed life back. [Yes, major major pointer at my favourite most Colton]. I am heartily wishing to get a book of his because from the whole of the cast? Colton was my most favourite.

There is loss in this book, breakup, struggle, war, crime, massive eruptions and I promise to you...it's worth the read. One hundred percent worth the read if you are totally okay with clutching your phone with both hands towards the end and practically biting anybody's head off it they dared to interrupt you, lmao. Beautiful beautiful read.

“A Thorn will always protect the rose from their enemies, even when the petals begin to fall. Side by side, we build our foundation strong, weathering any storm that comes our way. I didn’t choose Jordin, Angel. I chose you. You’re my rose. My everything.”

“I love you, Lexy. I’ve loved you for the longest time. I knew it deep down.”

“There will only ever be you, Angel. You’re fucking it for me. Marry me?”

I had not read any of Debbie’s books in this series, so I had to read “Manifesting Him” and “His to Ruin” first - I was hooked! The third book in the “Thorns Among Roses” series did not disappoint! From page to page, chapter to chapter, I could not put this book down! The heat between Saint and Lexi just sizzles on the page! Will Saint and Lexi, Caleb and Jordon, survive all the outside influences from their families? Who will marry who - the plot thickens! Can Saint, as head of the Garo family sort out the mess that his father created? And on a side note, who does Colton end up with?

To be quite honest, you will not be able to put this book down - this goes with all the books in this series. The whole series is HOT 🥵 🥵 and I cannot wait for Debbie’s next book. Highly recommended 🌟

The Devil's Saint by D. M. Roberts

I give The Devil's Saint a 4/5

I didn't realize it, but this is book 2 of Thorns Among Roses series.

However I was able to catch on very quickly. The atmosphere at the beginning really pulls the reader in. I am a sucker for multi POV's so that was an instant love.

The spice in this one had me by the throat. She's a bad girl and Saint is her tamer.

Saint is everything you could want and more, with some mafia vibes.

The twists and turns had me gasping and griping the edge of my seat.

Go give Saint some love over on Debbie's profile! Highly recommend this to anyone who loves spice.

Well, what can I say about this story? I absolutely LOVED IT!!!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Let me start by saying this story does have a lot of sad moments, so beware you might need tissues before you start reading. However, once you do start reading you won't be able to put it down. I read this amazing story in one night because it was a fast paced, interesting read. I just needed to know how it was going to end.

This is book 2 of the Thorns Among Roses series. This story revolves around Saint and Lexy. Just a warning the trope for this story is step siblings. I didn't mind this at all and thought it enhanced the story of forbidden love. There is a bunch of drama involved and miscommunication which can be frustrating to read, but the story flowed so nicely that you didn't have to wait long for questions to be answered or situations to be rectified.

It has a mafia plot which I love, but it wasn't fully like any regular mafia story. It was an original take and I didn't feel like it was too overpowering with the mafia plot. So for those that love mafia there is enough for you to enjoy. For those that don't like mafia there isn't an overabundance that would not make you enjoy this story. This was more a story about two people trying to be together when people are trying to tear them apart.

I really enjoyed reading this story and I will follow D. M. Roberts for any other stories she creates. This was a great read and I highly recommend to everyone.

Wanna see a tough mafia guy weak on his knees for a girl? Saint Garo is that guy.

Lexy was the good girl asking the universe for a fairytale. Saint was the furthest thing from that. She knew of him from school. He was dangerous & cold, not a prince charming. When her mother marries Saints father she got to know him behind the doors of their home. The real boy behind the mask he wears for the world.
The tension between these two was HOT! True enemies to lovers. He takes her innocence and soon realises that once was never going to be enough, but tries to push her away with cruelty.
When his hand in marriage is given to her best friend she feels alone again. Thrust into the Mafia, untold secrets make a world she is learning to trust again a very scary place. But we see Lexy come into her own and turn into a worthy Queen.

I loved the update on Caleb and Jordin. (His to Ruin) Caleb will always be my favourite. He is unhinged perfection. Colton surprised me in this one. I didnt think much of him in Calebs book, but he wormed his way into my heart in this one. Saint, Im glad everything unfolded the way it did. His character growth from the last book to this one was fantastic. In the end, his heart & the love he finally admitted to. Stunning!

Coming Jan 30th. The Devil’s Saint is the third and last book in the Thorns among Roses series.

Manifesting him - Prequel Novella & His to Ruin - Calebs book are both out now.

Saint and Lexy are Dark and Spicy

The Devil's Saint is a Thorn Among Roses book 2.
Lexy and Saint's story is fantastic! Lexy has struggled since she met Saint. She has been bullied at both school and home, no one will talk to her or even acknowledge her until she meets Jordin. Jordin and Lexy become quick BFFs and the only thing Lexy asked was for Jordin not to date her step brother Saint. After having fallen for Saint, Lexy is just starting to be happy when her Step father Eric announces Saints engagement to Jordin. Struggling to understand this new mafia world she has been thrust into, Lexy is shot at the announcement party and loses not only Saint and Jordin, but also, something more important than herself. While trying to navigate healing and the loss of her BFF and boyfriend due to what Lexy sees as a betrayal
She is forced to go on daily making a new alliance with Colton.

Sheesh! This series just keeps getting better! I can't tell you how hot the spice is in the book and he angst is top notch! I couldn't put Saint and Lexy down! I loved every scene in this book and hope there will be more from this world! Well done D. M Roberts, well done!

Fuck me this book! Never mind this series! I swear this has gripped me and has been so intoxicating for me.

A Mafia romance where you follow the lives of a fmc and mmc and the lives and families, the lies, the secrets, the shocking truths and pasts. Betrayal, romance, spice, murders.. This book has it all!

Finishing this had ripped me apart in a good way. I've laughed and cried.

There are heart stopping moments. Lexy and Saint have gone though so much, alongside Jordin and Caleb.

You get to know more of colton in this book and more about the family. You get questions answered.

The end I was screaming, then the extra chapter was just an amazing way to end this series.

Debbie writes Mafia so well, incorporating everything you would expect from this world onto paper. I could feel the tension, hear the noises, smell the scents by the way she has described them.

If you want drawn into this world and to be part of their lives. I'd highly recommend trying this series.

Excellent!!
This book starts off with a bang, so it grabbed my attention right away! Filled with secrets, betrayals and some edge of your seat moments. I didn't want to stop reading, because I needed to know what happens next!
In addition, there was action and suspense, spice, feelings and more!!

The chemistry and love Lexy and Saint had for each was everything. Although, things didn't always come easy for them, and they faced multiple challenges. However, they were always meant to be and they finally get their HEA.

I think it was an excellent read. It had a few of my favorite tropes, like step-siblings, mafia, and enimies to lovers. Characters we love, all the steam and a great storyline!!

I DEVOURED THIS BOOK!! Omg I loved it so much!! This series is amazing!

Lexy is living with her stepdad and stepbrother but they don’t like each other. This book is a continuation from his to ruin. It starts and talks a lot about the arranged marriage between saint and jordin (her bestie)

Saint has grew on me massively in manifesting him I didn’t quite know how to feel about him but I honestly love him. But I must say Colton has a special place in my heart and he needs a story!!

I loved these two so much!! This story had so much going on that it was always interesting. I loved the ending it was such a good end to the book and jordin and Caleb got their happy ending too!!! I want to thank dm Roberts for allowing me an arc to this book I am so grateful and loved it so much!! 🥰🥰

Volume 2 of the "Thorns Among Roses" series brings to a close the story of Lexy and Saint, which we followed from the beginning in "Manifesting Him". The couple will have to go through many trials and fight their enemies in order to save their love and their lives. Accompanied by their friends Caleb, Jordin and Colton, they will have to stick together despite appearances and the demands and duties placed on them by their families. Once again, the chemistry between them is explosive, resulting in a spicy free-for-all to our great delight. Love is not left out and Lexy and Saint no longer hide their feelings that they have tried so hard to fight in the past. A perfect ending for our protagonists.

Nothing short of phenomenal.

This whole series is so good and completely pulls you in.

I loved getting to see what developed after the cliff hanger from His to Ruin.

Lexy’s character development was spot on and seeing her growth, from timid to COMPLETE badass was 👩🏻‍🍳 💋.

Saint is, well. Saint. Dark, brooding, alpha-hole but deep, (deeeep) down, he has a freaking heart of gold and a strange way to show it 😁
.
This series was absolutely incredible and I love how it ended. I cried, I screamed, I blushed. I felt it all and loved every minute.
.
You absolutely must read read this series in order starting with Manifesting Him & His to Ruin.

What happens when the heir to the Guso crime family suddenly craves his new stepsister, who's been shielded from the mafia. Spectacular sexy sparks of course. Saint might be tattooed, cold, and hard from his upbringing but his forbidden touch for Lexi becomes a thing she craves.
Can this bad boy tame the wildness in Lexi?
This book is spicy hot, with enough fast paced great writing and drama to hold your attention. Just enough difference from most Mafia books too, which was nice.
Lexi's character grows stronger as the story goes on which was great to read.
Also lovely to see Caleb and Jordin from book 1 and I look forward to Colton's story in the final book of this series.

The Devil's Saint is book 2 in the Thorns among Roses series. Since I started this series with book 2 I'll be going back and reading book 1 but honestly it won't change my opinion of this book at all. It's a fantastic, taboo, intense, gritty, forbidden, emotional love story. There's so many twists and turns, secrets that come to light and let's not forget the chemistry between Lexy and Saint. These two are so hot together you can feel the heat through the pages. An absolute must read!

I read this book hoping to find something to get me out of my slump, I've been struggling to stay focused on stuff and decided I'd start reading again and let me just say I am in LOVE with these characters in this book. My only criticism is that I lost the plot a few times and had to put the book down a few times because I was so confused and burnt out. Saint is so loveable, but Colton is definitely my favorite 🥺 this is my first time reading a d.m roberts book and I am NOT disappointed!!

awesome work cant wait to see what else you come up with 🫶

I'm sort of annoyed now I'm done with this series. I'm annoyed that it took me so long to start this series but also I didn't want it to end. I was so wrapped up in this world that I didn't want to leave it. This group of people will always have my heart.
But let me say, i bloody adored this whole series and could read so much more. It was a bumpy ride at times, so strap in!
Saint and Lexy are just perfection. So are Caleb and Jordin. My little Colton though 👀.
I absolutely love this world you have created DM Roberts.

Saint was a character that I really liked. He was an alphahole, protective and dirty sexy.. Lexi tried to resist but her and Saint were inevitable. He and his best friends had to step up against the betrayal that surrounded them. Lexi also had to step up and show her strength. I loved the bond that formed between them all even though it was tested. This was full of action, steam, vengeance, betrayal, sacrifice, twists, and so much more.

Okay, I have been waiting for Saint and Lexi's (full) book forever and this did not disappoint. I loved every single second of their journey, the ups and downs, the secrets, EVERYTHING. Also how sexy are these two??!?!? OMG! This one was an obvious 5-star read for me.

Overall I'd definitely read this book again and I would recommend this book for fans of other romance books. I have received this ARC for an honest review, all thoughts/ opinions above are my own.

Lexy has a new stepbrother and he has been the biggest bully, keeping her from making friends or going on dates. She doesn't fear him, rather she pushes his buttons until one day he snaps...

Saint is the son of a Mafia boss and is silently falling for a forbidden girl. Just as they fall for each other...their world gets turned upside down in more ways than one.

I absolutely ate this book up. There was tension, so much spice, forbidden love, and a very heavy "touch her and die" MMC. These two go through so much, there are so many little twists and turns, you won't want to stop reading.

Well done!

I really love The Devil's Saint!! Saint is 🥵🥵🥵!! I couldn't put it down. I experienced so many emotions reading this. We get mafia, enemies to lovers, and step-siblings troupe. Great spicy scenes but so much heartache throughout. I'm really happy with how it ended, but it's definitely a rollercoaster ride to get there.

I wasn't expecting the change up in characters for the second book because I really loved Caleb! But it definitely worked. This book is so full to twists and turns and emotional moments that I could not put it down.

not nearly as good as the first.

It’s possible this book seems really rush, but also dragged on long, long long. There wasn’t much buildup between the step sibling romance. It all just seem to wrap up after 400 and some pages long. I really liked the first book just didn’t care for the second book at all.
