When they dated in high school something happened and Ozzy broke up with her while she was on a hospital bed. He thought he was protecting her but little did he know that she would never leave his mind or heart. She carried this rejection for 15 years, she thought he abandoned her, he never called, text or look for her anymore. She was broken and angry.
Fast forward to now, she was attacked because of the case she is bringing against the head of the Italian Mafia family. Liam ask Ozzy to watch a person for him because she needs protection. Ozzy accepts and ask the name of the person and when he hears the name Freya Campbell his heart stops in his chest for a moment.
He sees her and his feelings come back with vengeance. He doesn’t even know how to talk to her. He wants to touch her, hold her, kill the men who hurt her.
She on the other hand is angry as hell. Her heart (that bitch) can’t control itself. But she is angry, upset and frustrated. Ozzy is the only guy she ever gave her heart to and he stomp on it. He left her on a hospital bed and never looked back and she was left to collect her broken pieces. Now he is right there and they can’t barely look at each other, he sees the anger in her eyes and she sees something in his eyes she can’t decipher….
I can’t explain how much I like their story. It blew Linc and Charlie, Jude and Lucy out of the water. Ozzy is so romantic, cute, tender and loving, he is also super sexy and has a filthy mouth. You don’t expect the super serious brooding MC president to be so romantic and soft for her ONLY. I LOVED IT ❤️

I am really enjoying this new series by Kate Randall and Ozzy is my favorite one yet! Ozzy is about realizing when you get a second chance with a special someone, you do the work it takes to hang onto it. I love a book with mature characters and both of the main characters are in their 30s. They haven't seen each other since their teens when family and circumstance did them dirty, but when the FMC's job as district attorney puts her in the cross hairs, Ozzy will do whatever needs to be done to protect her and keep her - even when their odds seem insurmountable. Fast paced read with super hot smexy times. Definitely worth the read if you're a fan of MC stories. MC President stories are usually my top faves of the series and this one definitely didn't let me down!

Loved It!!!
This is another book in the Black Roses MC and it was another hit for me. A second chance romance which was full of drama and suspense revolving around the club’s President, Ozzy and the girl he once loved.
Now Freya is a high-power attorney who is all about taking down some of the worst criminals in the underworld. She wants nothing more than to seek justice but the head of the Italian mafia is trying to change her mind so after being attacked she is sent to her former boyfriend’s club for protection. To say that Ozzy and Freya has unfinished business doesn’t even come close.
The story was a big page turner for me not only with Freya trying to seek justice but with the rebuilding of a great love story between Ozzy and Freya. I highly recommend this book.

Each book gets better and better in this series!! Freya and Ozzy’s story is definitely a hot, spicy one! Love that we get a second chance romance out of these 2! In this book, we finally get to see a different side to Ozzy! We see him be the badass President of the Motorcycle Club, but we also see him putting Freya first with taking care of her during the trial and really just being the support she needs while she’s in the spotlight. We get to see all of favorites from Linc and Jude which I absolutely love! Love this series so much and can’t wait for the next one!!

Such a fantastic read. I absolutely loved Ozzy and Freya’s story ❤️❤️❤️ So many missed years, both thinking the other had forgotten them and moved on. Having Freya back in his world throws him a bit but he will protect her with his life. This is an incredible journey into a world of an MC and Mafia, chaos, drama and danger are ever present. Every character in this book is well written about, the scenes in this book are well depicted, which makes this novel a definite page turner, I couldn’t put it down and 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎

This is the third book of the Black Roses MC and follows the MMC the Black MC’s President Ozzy.
This is a stand-alone/interconnected book. You don’t need to have read the previous two to read this, you get a little more understanding on side characters if you have read the previous books.
Ozzy owes a favour and when that’s called in the last thing he expects it to be is to provide protection to his ex gf, an ex gf he hasn’t seen in 15 years. Not since she was shot at the clubhouse when she was 18 and broke his heart when she left town and refused to speak to him.
The FMC Freya has spent her life working to put bad men behind bars. Her determination and drive has been to make the man who shot her at 18 pay for his actions. Just happens that he is the head of the Italian mafia. She knows this time she has him. She’s going to win her case, it’s ironclad. The issue is the men that came knocking on her door and threatening her with their fists as the trial approaches.
Freya doesn’t want to run and hide but she can’t risk not being around to win this case, even if that means relying on the man who broke her heart and left a whole she’s never been able to fill.
I really enjoyed this book, Ozzy is a strong MC President, he’s sensible and driven, he’s just exhausted with the the responsibility of paperwork and life making him feel like he’s missing something.
Freya is a strong, driven women who knows she was never given the closure she needed from the love of her life but right in the middle of her biggest trial of her career while she’s being threatened isn’t the best timing.
I enjoyed that even though there was a lot of trial speak and the trial itself it wasn’t dragged out.
This book was about content, drama and story rather than trying to fluff out with pages. I don’t feel like anything was skipped over or too quick but at the same time things weren’t dragged out with information that didn’t aid in the story.
The only thing that stopped me giving this book 5⭐️ was when I realised that although Freya and Ozzy had been first loves, first everything, they had only been together once.
I felt like the connection they had and the strength of it led to them having been together for a longer time (which maybe they had and I missed) or more intimate time with how their strength of need and some of the flashbacks felt like it was downplayed a little which for me didn’t connect with the present. I think that’s being really picky though it was just a tiny thing.
That and the British side of the characters, if any more books involve Liam, I really hope a British person is asked on terms, words, language, as a British reader, for me it jumps out that these British characters feel more generalised than actually British. Some of the phrases, words don’t sit right.
This was a really good book and having read each book of this series so far I think the writing, the characters, the stories are getting better and stronger and I’m really invested in this MC and look forward to seeing who else’s story we get to see. I’d really love to see Knox’s story! Love a quiet and brooding MC!!
Highly recommend this book for any MC lovers like me who like high drama without the prolonged suspense or dragged out words waiting for something to happen.

I do quite enjoy a good MC romance and not having read this author before and taking an interest in what this book was about, I thought I'd give it a go. I'm glad I did! Whilst there is some back story with the previous couple of books, it is fairly easy to follow along, though I'd recommend reading the first 2 first. I'm positive it will make for a better reading experience!
So, Ozzy and Freya have a past. Whilst we're not privy in the beginning to what happened previously, we do know something happened .
There have been some areas of the story I felt were a little clunky and didn't quite flow as well as the rest, I have not been able to put this book down! It has really kept my attention and I'm enjoying both main characters a lot! They've both had some communication issues but the more they need to spend time around each other, the more that comes out about the past.
It's a great storyline and I'm keen to go back and read the first two books. I really liked the fact they were both in their thirties and they were working through things as adults. I also loved how supportive Ozzy was of Freya.
I think having these two almost as if they were on opposite sides of the law was great. It gives different perspectives and shows that not everything always as it seems, nor is it always black and white. There are grey areas.
The suspense toward the end of the book was good. I felt myself sitting up that little bit more, getting closer to the edge of my seat! This was a really enjoyable read, and I'm looking forward to more from this author.

Freya is an attorney and with her trying to put away the criminal more criminals are after her. So she retreats to her hometown, and the man that broke her heart, Ozzy, seeking his protection. Freya assumes he forgot about her but you don’t forget about your first love. Ozzy has never gotten over Freya, any other woman just can’t compare. Now Ozzy has a chance to win Freya back. Will she give him a second chance?

I love this series and this book is another very welcome addition to it. Ozzy and Freya's second chance romance offers up a skillful combination of drama, emotion, twists, angst, steam, tension, danger and suspense that read easily and packed a solid punch of straight feels to your heart.

Great book
What can I say about Ozzy and Freya... solid couple who are very real in a way. Like the reader can see how this story could be a fact for someone beyond a book.
The plot overall was well done, although there was a small part of me who was mad when someone showed up to the clubhouse sticking his nose into others business. I like how the storyline is continuous and the fact that the next book stays in this world but in a different way.
I gave it 4.3 out of 5 stars, but can't honestly click that above. I felt like there are times that the spice, almost seems incomplete or rushed, even though some scenes are well done. I also wish the Epilogue had and extra part... you know, the nightstand... don't want to give anything away.

One of my favorite thing about a MC book is seeing the tough biker show their softer side to the one they fancy, and seeing as Freya was the one he pushed away 15 years ago... maaaaaan it's so good.
I love how strong Freya is as a FMC. You don't see many that come out that way when the MMC is strong as well. She finds out some things about her situation and it takes her a minute, but she overcomes it. Then starts to plan her future and where she wants to REALLY be.
This may have just been a me thing, because there was a lot more inner thinking and not a lot of dialogue. I do feel like the beginning felt a little drug out, BUT at the same time it was needed, it explained what Freya was doing and touched on their history.

After reading Rose Colored Glasses, and totally swooning over Ozzy and Freya's bittersweet start to their relationship I was so eager to read more about them.
Call me a hopefully romantic but I loved that they lost their virginity together. I don't know why but I found it sweet and refreshing. The sexual behaviors of fictional characters don't really bother me. But this had me in tears and fangirling in my room. Then needing to compose myself after reading that cliffhanger.
Ozzy was this huge presence in the prior books, a mysterious one at that. And this book tied everything together nicely. A gentle giant if you will. Freya playing a huge role in the man we know and love today.
A spicy second chance romance, where I constantly was yelling at the characters "have sex already" 😅. Because after 15 years of longing and yearning I just knew the spice would be explosive. Especially after Freya said "I much prefer a man who looks like he could throw me against a wall and kiss the hell out of me to the point I forget my name." Yesss girl same!!!! 🥵😭. One of my drop my kindle and fangirl moments.
I will say that I felt the reason Ozzy stayed away from Freya was revealed a bit too early, and the spice could of held off just a bit. Maybe I'm just being a little masochistic lol. And I only say this because the drama aspect of their push and pull was now gone. I almost wished they had sex, and then he told her the truth. So it would have been more about physical attraction. 🤔
Anyways.... it's me again God asking once again when will it be my turn 🤣.
The ending of this book was everything. Reading Tanya's story from her POV was heartbreaking and bittersweet. Freya coming to terms with what she wanted in life was inspiring. Ozzy and Freya's happy ending brought tears to my eyes.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series, and I look forward to Knox's book in January. What a great way to start the new year. So many little tidbits of information about him has the wheels in my head turning.
But I'm heartbroken at the lack of a proposal at the end of this book 😭🤧.

After reading Rose Colored Glasses, and totally swooning over Ozzy and Freya's bittersweet start to their relationship I was so eager to read more about them.
Call me a hopefully romantic but I loved that they lost their virginity together. I don't know why but I found it sweet and refreshing. The sexual behaviors of fictional characters don't really bother me. But this had me in tears and fangirling in my room. Then needing to compose myself after reading that cliffhanger.

Ozzy is the third installment in the Black Rose MC series by the ever talented; Kate Randall. As it is book three in the series, I do recommend reading the series in order, but they can be read as standalones should a reader choose. If you love MC romances filled with strong female leads, second chance love stories and alpha, protective men, then this series is the one for you.
Ozzy and Freya have history. A history of blood, broken promises and lost love. Fifteen years later and a favor of a friend brings them back together again. Freya is now a high-powered lawyer; she puts bad people away for a living. Now that what feels like her life-long goal of putting away the man that hurt her all those years is coming true, she feels like she can finally move on to the next stage of her life. Too bad said bad guy has other plans.
When a favor is called in; MC President, Ozzy makes good on it. The favor? To protect a woman that the Italian Mafia has painted a target on. The kicker? 3.75 stars. This one is my favorite of the series so far. I read the novella that gives more color to Ozzy and Freya’s beginnings but you don’t necessarily have to read that to enjoy this book. Ozzy and Freya make a good match. Freya is a strong, accomplished h but honestly…Ozzy was a nice guy but kind of weak/passive.
Let me explain-I’m not really a fan of second chance romances in general, especially when there is a large time passage. In this case, it’s 15 years, it’s just sad when you think of all the wasted time apart when the two mains know each other, is most likely the love of their life. That’s not what I want to read in the opening chapter of a romance. That was in the back of my mind for the rest of the book and put a damper on my enthusiasm for Ozzy as our H.
I liked their relationship and character development after they reunited but I would have liked it more if Ozzy had manned up sooner.

I do quite enjoy a good MC romance and not having read this author before and taking an interest in what this book was about, I thought I'd give it a go. I'm glad I did! Whilst there is some back story with the previous couple of books, it is fairly easy to follow along, though I'd recommend reading the first 2 first. I'm positive it will make for a better reading experience!
So, Ozzy and Freya have a past. Whilst we're not privy in the beginning to what happened previously, we do know something happened .

It has really kept my attention and I'm enjoying both main characters a lot! They've both had some communication issues but the more they need to spend time around each other, the more that comes out about the past.
It's a great storyline and I'm keen to go back and read the first two books. I really liked the fact they were both in their thirties and they were working through things as adults. I also loved how supportive Ozzy was of Freya.
I think having these two almost as if they were on opposite sides of the law was great. It gives different perspectives and shows that not everything always as it seems, nor is it always black and white. There are grey areas.
The suspense toward the end of the book was good. I felt myself sitting up that little bit more, getting closer to the edge of my seat! This was a really enjoyable read, and I'm looking forward to more from this author.

I loved Ozzy and Freya's story! It's a great story of second chances and redemption of the love they once shared.
Ozzy gave up the only girl/woman he's ever loved because he was told that she didn't want anything to do with him. Freya left Shine, Massachusetts for a better life after she almost died, but her heart would never heal from the dismissal that she got from the boy she's ever loved. They were both lied to by someone that should have tried to understand, but his power and the towns opinion let him deceive them both.
Now Freya is in danger and the only man that can protect her and keep her safe is the only man that she's vowed to never see again. All because she believed that he gave up on her years ago. She's not happy being back at The Black Roses MC compound, but what choice does she have? Her life's work has put her in the line of fire and she won't give up until she's won her case. No matter the cost to her life.
I loved this story and I love the characters in The Black Roses MC series. This story was the one I was waiting for and it did not disappoint. This is the 3rd story in The Black Roses MC series where high school sweethearts Freya a good girl and Ozzy the bad boy biker find love at 18 years old. When Freya is at the club house there’s a shooting and she’s shot and Ozzy being a young man pushes Freya away and her dad takes them away from Shine to Boston. These two don’t see or speak to each other for 15 years when the same trouble comes back to Freya and friends of hers get her protection from the MC she left years ago. Freya is a high power attorney trying to put away the Italian Don and they want her to lose evidence so going into hiding with Ozzy has its own issues. Ozzy is a natural protector and being the president he understands what’s needed. When these two stop avoiding each other they have the chance to discover what they can mean to one another and boy does Ozzy and Freya make up for lost time! The Italians get the upper hand but the faith in the club and other alliances will always show up when needed. Mending hearts and growing their love is worth all the struggles.

Ozzy is a strong MC President, Freya is a strong, driven women. 15 years ago, they were each other’s first everything, until she was forced to move breaking both of their hearts, now he is doing a favor for friend and is tasked with protecting her. They both realize they weren’t really happy just content until they are back in each other’s arms. I love how the characters explain their side of the story as well as reminisce about the past, giving us a better understanding of what really happened.
This book was good to the point with no extra nonsense, hitting all key factors of the story line and of course HEA. This is the third book of the Black Roses MC and follows the MMC the Black MC’s President Ozzy. This is a stand-alone/interconnected book. Freya and Ozzy have history, they were in love when they were eighteen but an incident at the clubhouse when she was shot pushed them apart, now fifteen years later Freya who is a US attorney is in danger from the Cataldi’s as she is waiting to take Francesco, the head of the family to trial, she is attacked. Ozzy, is asked by Jude’s brother Liam to take her in and protect her not realising their connection. There’s still anger and a little resentment but when they start talking they realise they’d been played all those years ago and maybe would have still been together if not for that. As for now he will do everything in his power to protect her as Carlo Cataldi, Francesco’s son comes for them.

This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotionally charges story, which has danger, suspense, intrigue, first love / lost love, opposites attract, forced proximity, second chances, revenge, morally grey romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This book! I absolutely loved it. I think this is my favorite one. I'm a sucker for second chances plus he's in an MC, count me in :P What I loved the most about this book is that the characters are not young early 20's. The main female character has a career and that is what the plot of this book is based off of. She's strong, independent, brave, and can hold her own. The main male character is a protector. Despite it being 15 years between the two of them seeing each other his desire/need to protect her is still safe. This was one of my favorite reads for the year. I will definitely be suggesting Kate Randall to everyone.

The plot twists, chaos and the heartbreak are things I’ve come to love from Kate’s writing, and I will continue to enjoy her books as they come out, when they are as great as this how could I not!?
Ozzy is heartbreakingly adorable and Freya is the strong willed lawyer who isn’t going to put up with sh*t from anyone!

Ozzy is book three in The Black Roses MC series, and holy cow, this was such a fantastic story. Ozzy and Freya's story was incredible, and I was loving every minute of it. They missed out on so many years together, but now that Freya is back in Ozzy's life, he will do anything and everything to protect her and make her his. I loved the way the story was told, how the characters developed, and the world building that was in this story. I would recommend this book, along with the other books in this series to anyone.

I was given a great advantage from my book bestie that the series has a prequel: Rose Colored Glasses.
I would suggest reading the Prequel after Jude and before Ozzy for it to click at the right time in the way the club is presented to you. The Prequel would make sense being numbered as book 2.50 instead of 0.50.

I love second chance books when they're done right and this one was. Watching the pair get back together and talk out their issues fairly quickly was nice. The only baffling thing was her pulling away so much and leaving near the end, I didn't get that. And there was a bit of confusion for me because it wasn't clear why the Italians shot up the club house all those years ago - it kind of sounded like it was because of her dad but also sounded like a club issue, so I wasn't sure which way to go with that.

This series! These motorcycles brothers! I’m loving this group soo much! Ozzy broke Freya’s heart fifteen years ago, trying to keep her safe. Now Attorney Freya is in danger and motorcycle club president Ozzy might be her only chance at safety. Is there to much hurt between these two or will they rekindle what they once had?! Oh do we already know the answer to this! These two have great chemistry and a pull they can’t deny. There is a lot going on around them, but they eventually figure it out. This was another great layered book in this intense series. These boys mean business, no one messes with their club or their women. They protect what is theirs at all cost and they have interesting people backing them up. I swear I get sucked in more with each book.

Freya an attorney trying to put away a known criminal. She is attacked and threatened in her home and needing protecting. She is sent back to her hometown Shine where her first love and first heartbreak Ozzy lives. He doesn't hesitate to protect her, even though he still loves her and knows how it was his first heartbreak too. There is suspense and great chemistry between these two in this second chance MC romance.
