Harley Jean — is the VP's - Crash & Shannon's daughter. Harley works in an accounting office. She thought she would love the 'business' world, but hates it beyond belief.
Harley and her girlfriends are off to Las Vegas, NV for a bachelorette weekend. The girls aren't looking to get wasted, just looking to have some fun out on the town.
At one of the club's Harley & the girls are at, she meets Ian McLeod, a member of the Evil Dead MC, Nevada Chapter. But, she doesn't know he's in the MC, and he doesn't know she is the daughter of an MC VP! Ian is with his brother and almost wife out celebrating. Ian's brother and fiancée want to get married at an Elvis chapel and invite Harley along as they need another witness. Harley feels an instant connection to Ian, even though they barely know each other.
Harley wakes up in bed with Ian in the morning, and has a massive ring on her finger! Oi! She can't believe it and takes off to her own room with the girls.
When Harley gets back to San Jose, CA, she doesn't want to believe that she just got married to a stranger, but, when the wedding pictures and paperwork come in the mail she really can't believe she got married to a stranger!
Ian shows up at her father's MC a week or so later and Harley can't believe it! Ian sees her from across the room and can't believe his wife is at the club!
Ian and Harley do have instant connection and romance. But, with Ian living in Utah and Harley in California will they be able to make this romantic marriage work? Will Harley be able to tell her father and the other club members she is married?

Reckless was a great addition to this next gen series! The teaser at the end of book three had me dying to know who Harley was going to be paired up with and I loved that it was kept a secret until it was released. A great story that was fast paced and had great chemistry between the two MCs. Not super plot intensive, but definitely grabbing all the feels especially with all the cameos from all our favorite Nicole James series. Definitely a lighter read that you can eat up in an afternoon. Can't wait to see who is up next, I'm absolutely loving see all our favorite MC MMCs with their grown children ❤️.

Wow! Talking about what happens in Vegas? Be careful. Some things do follow you back home. These two were something else. Harley’s story is a great read. Watching her get her HEA is something you don’t want to miss

Ooh-wee, is it hot in here, or what?! ♨ This book just about had me fanning my face, there was so much blush-inducing scenes. From the sexual tension, to the sexual banter, to the sexual encounters. It’s full steam ahead!
Right off the bat, I loved that the premise kept Harley’s love interest a total secret until you cracked open the book and discover it first-hand. Already, I was itching to find out who the lucky groom would be. And let me tell you… he SO does not disappoint.
What happens in Vegas… doesn’t always stay in Vegas! Ha. Love it.
It’s the fourth standalone in the Evil Dead MC second gen series, and it was such a fun romance. Although it’s set within an MC backdrop, it’s definitely a lot lighter than the OG series. If you’re not fussed with a little “third act” action and suspense, and an abrupt romance rollercoaster before the HEA either, then you’ll enjoy this romance read through and through.
Although it includes plenty of sexual content, the spice is fairly mid-level. It has a New-Adult to Adult Romance feel due to the youthful, playful atmosphere. It does however contain sensitive subject matters that may be triggering for some readers such as, violence, kidnapping, and death (off page). Intended for readers of age.
It’s not very plot-heavy. Totally character driven developments, mixed with a range of emotions from the MCs as they navigate through their new-found marital status. What it lacked in a weighty story, the cast of characters more than made up for. I adore the history amongst the brotherhood, and the friendships amongst the second gen characters felt genuine and relatable, especially between the ever-growing girl squad. But whether it’s biker banter, or a gab sesh between Harley and her friends, the characters injected tons of fun and humour into the book that I could never tire of.
If you’re an avid fan of James’ MC romances, specifically the Evil Dead MC series, I think you’ll easily spot much of the same writing inserted from those books in this new series— e.g. certain lines and romantic developments between the characters. To me, it’s almost become a signature of an MC book by James. It still evokes a smile and a swoon from me whenever I come across one.
It’s easy reading you can start and finish in one sitting. It left me happy-sighing in contentment for Harley, and slightly giddy knowing which couple will be up next in the series. *whispers* Eeep. I’m excited for it! 😱
Harley is one spunky heroine with hilarious internal monologue, and who’s addicted to true-crime shows. With those traits alone, she’s a winner in books! Without giving away who the hero is, I will say that he’s a very lovable character. He’s sweet and funny, but still has an ever-present protective, bad boy biker side. He and Harley are perfectly matched. I do wish his backstory was more detailed and not just summed-up, but all in all, I still enjoyed the hell out of their story.

Reckless: Sins of the Father by Nicole James is the fourth book in the Evil Dead MC: Second Generation series. This author has a number of series going about motorcycle clubs. This particular series is based on the children of the Evil Dead MC of San Jose.
Harley Jean woke up in Las Vegas married. She doesn't know who the man in the bed is and has no memory of getting married. She knows she went there for a bachelorette party for Melissa, but she doesn’t even have a boyfriend. It is hard to find a boyfriend when her father is the VP of the Evil Dead MC. Harley Jean gathered her clothes and ran to her room and left Las Vegas no clearer on what happened.
Only her ‘husband’ showed up a week later, shocking both of them. Reckless or Ian McLeod is the member of the Evil Dead MC from Utah. Her secret is bound to come out, but they make a plan to keep their marriage a secret. Only it is really hard to keep it a secret when they can’t keep their hands off each other.
Reckless and Harley Jean are perfect for each other, if they can just get everything together. I enjoyed the romance of the two main characters. Harley is a MC Princess whose mother wants her to stay in a safe bubble at all times, so she doesn't color outside the lines in her life. She works a safe job she hates & has been in a relationship with a safe man she's not in love with so she's not satisfied with her life. Her best friend is getting married so they're off to Vegas for a bachelorette weekend when she lets her hair down & gets drunk married to Ian, a man she just met. She runs out on him before he wakes up, but turns out their lives are a bit more intertwined than they ever knew LOL! He's a member of another chapter, and some of that chapter comes to the one her dad is VP of so they come face to face again. She wants nothing else to come of it, but the sparks are flying between them so he uses their secret to enjoy himself with her. They light the sheets on fire by night & she breaks up with him by day LOL but he's not about to let her go so easily. There's also some serious trouble with the MC so danger is around the corner but when the rubber meets the road, will Harley finally admit that she loves her husband?! This story was so good, as is this series of course, and I could have read about this couple for years to be honest! Reckless is now firmly on the list of rereads so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

However, Recker and she immediately hit it off. He asked her to come with him as the second witness. She woke next to a strong warm body and she was wearing a gorgeous ring set. She didn't take time to figure out what it meant but ran and caught the flight home with the rest of the bachelorette groupies.
Since she didn't even know his last name, she never expected to see him again. Surprise! When she went home to Evil Dead MC, her father's club, who was there? Yep. She wanted the drunk wedding kept quiet. He wanted her. Neither planned for it to stick.
Watch them try to deny their feelings, the club not knowing, a war brewing with another club, and so much more. Oh, the chemistry is off-the-chart hot. I loved the whole book. Great lovers, loyal strong MC brothers, and true friends on both sides.

When the Bachelorette party ends with a surprise. Harley the Maid of Honor was having just another day at work and she still needs to finish packing and leave with the girls to Vegas. Harley isn't happy with her job. It feels so boring and not satisfying for her. She has a boyfriend and there is no spark, like her friends Melissa, and Gigi. She is so looking forward to this weekend just to hang out and have loads of fun. Harley, Gigi, Melissa, and Brandy are all good friends, they are all connected by one way or another to the MC. The girls get ready and start to party, and Harley meets Ian. Ian is there with his brother Scott and fiancé Jessica. They went to Vegas to get Married. Did Scott and Jessica get married? Did Harley and the girls stayed spending time with Ian and his family? Did the Girls enjoy the Bachelorette weekend? Was their a connection between Ian and Harley? Get this book it wont disappoint. I didn't put it down, I needed to know what was going to happen. I can't wait for the next book.

This is a second generation, age gap, MC romance.
This is the story of Reckless and Harley. Hold on to your heart because you are about to fall in love with both of these characters. Harley is the daughter of Crash from the previous series if you have read it. If you haven't that is OK. You won't be lost reading this book. But if you know Crash then you know that he didn't raise a daughter that can't take care of herself. Or, give as good as she gets. She is on a bachelorette trip to Vegas but boy oh boy did she never expect her trip to go the way that it did. What she got is a meeting with Reckless and one heck of a story to tell and really live out. I don't want to tell you about the story and ruin anything for anyone. However, I could go on and on about this story. You have a tough as nails sassy female and a man that didn't get the name Reckless by not living up to that reputation. I loved them separately and together. This is a book that you do not want to miss.

Waking Up in Vegas Married with a Runaway Bride Twist
The second generation of Evil Dead has been really great. I read the stories of their fathers and mothers years ago. Harley (Crash’s daughter) and Reckless make a fun couple.
No cheating or ow drama. They both have their hang ups and past that make the present interesting to navigate. I loved the earlier chapters when they both realize they got married in Vegas. Their next meeting in the club house was fun. There could have been more fighting for each other and better communication would have resolved most of the issues. All the older brothers riding to get her man at the end was fun. And I’m enjoyed a book with a secret romance where the woman came out fighting her relatives and people instead of the mmc needing to bear it all. The ending resolved quickly. It could have dragged just a bit more. We see a portion of the HEA but barely a glimpse of the couple happy in a real relationship. It would be nice to see that with one of these books.
The second generation of Evil Dead has been really great. I read the stories of their fathers and mothers years ago. Harley (Crash’s daughter) and Reckless make a fun couple.
No cheating or ow drama. They both have their hang ups and past that make the present interesting to navigate. I loved the earlier chapters when they both realize they got married in Vegas. Their next meeting in the club house was fun. There could have been more fighting for each other and better communication would have resolved most of the issues. All the older brothers riding to get her man at the end was fun. And I’m enjoyed a book with a secret romance where the woman came out fighting her relatives and people instead of the mmc needing to bear it all. The ending resolved quickly. It could have dragged just a bit more. We see a portion of the HEA but barely a glimpse of the couple happy in a real relationship. It would be nice to see that with one of these books.

This is a well written action packed story, which has family, friendships, humor, witty banter, determination, emotions, lies, secrets, undeniable chemistry, revelations, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Harley goes to Vegas for the bachelorette party she planned for Melissa. She meets this man and agrees to go to his brother's wedding in front of Elvis. They both wake up to a surprise in the morning. Harley runs away, which was pretty much her MO for this book. She has a reputation for being a strong woman, but she doesn't show much backbone for most of this book. She has a real bad habit of acting like a toddler. Reckless has some of his own issues and does manage to push past her boundaries. He has reason to be careful but Harley seems to bring him happiness. They both should have told the truth of what happened to the Club. It was extremely immature the way things played out at points. I did enjoy their bonus.

The sparks still fly between them and the chemistry is off the charts.
These two are so hot together. I absolutely love love love him. Of course there are secrets, and the whole do they really love each other. You can't help rooting for these two to make it work.
This next generation of Evil Dead had had good stories this is my absolute favorite.

She gets back home to the Evil Dead MC and who does she see? Reckless is a part of the mc world. He wants her, she just wants to keep the marriage a secret. Another mc is looking to cause trouble. Will the two come to terms? A good read.

I love this second generation series. First generation is definitely always in the mix, so it feels so familiar. Harley and Reckless meet and the chemistry explodes, but neither remember the details.
The book is all about them finding that connection again, and take the risk to love with all your heart. Smoking hot romance, gun play and the DK's are on the prowl AGAIN!
All through this, Harley & Reckless find their HEA.
I read this via Kindle Unlimited, but definitely consider it well worth my time and $$.

Harley isn't happy in life so when she goes to Vegas for a bachelorette weekend and comes back with more than a nasty hangover her life changes but is it for the better? I loved Reckless and all challenges he has faced. I love how this MC is truly family and they will do anything for each other. Nicole James is an amazing author which I can't wait to read what's next. Highly recommend this book, series and author.

I never know how to title but I think this fits. I just want to say oh my gosh what a book Ms James gave us check-ins with other Chapters of Evil Dead. This book draws you in from the first she introduces Ian in a way that you don't even realize he is Evil Dead. I love how she keeps readers on their toes with all the twist and turns in the telling of Harley and Reckless' story. Ms James just keeps getting better!

Fantastic storyline, lots of mystery, intrigue, MC drama and super spicy good stuff. Your heart will get a little broken but it is quickly fixed with the sweetest resolution.
We also get to visit with all of our old friends from the OG series. Fantastic read!!!!!

Loved it!!!! Ian and Harley's story was epic! This story flowed from beginning to end. Great action, romance, and story line tied it all together for a wonderful afternoon of reading on a rainy day. The Evil dead club is a warm and funny group that makes you feel the family ties that bind them for one great story after another. I really enjoyed this well written story of two strong people meant for each other!

Reckless, well he's an Evil Dead Nevada chapter member that's dressed to the nines for his brother Vegas wedding. Their story from Vegas back to San Jose is spectacular and putting the DK's in their place as well. Definitely recommending this book and series.

I couldn't put this book down. I loved everything about Reckless & Haley's story. From the way they met, to the morning after, to seeing / getting to know each other, seeing her fight for him and exposing their secret and down to them professing their love for one another. I was so invested that I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. This series is absolutely amazing and I love seeing the OG's in action.

Their start was unconventional but romantic and sexy nonetheless. This story contains spice, angst and it wouldn't be a motorcycle club book without danger. You can't go wrong with a Nicole James book and this one is no exception.

Wow. What a book. I'm loving all the kids books. I couldn't put book down once started.
You should know what happens in Vegas never stays in Vegas.
I loved Harley and Reckless together, they may of been thrown together. But they both had instant attraction. They didn't think they'd see each other again. But when duty calls they can't believe they bump into each other.
I can't wait for more.

Something’s Don’t Stay in Vegas
Was supposed to be a good time celebrating, but one hot man changes it all. Waking up next to the hot man means she needs to do what she does best and runs all the way home, She doesn’t realize that Vegas will soon find its way to the Evil Dead Clubhouse. Definitely recommend this book, author and series.
