Oh Zade. I really loved book 3 of The Power of Three series. Zade and Valerie are definitely opposites very much star crossed lovers. Zade is responsible for the worst day of Valerie's life. He took something from her she never thought she would move on from. Oh how the Goddess plays games. Fast forward 5 years later when their paths cross again in a far away town where both relocated to start their lives over not knowing the other one was there. I loved the evolution of their relationship and how protective Zade is of her. His touch her and ☠️ vibes are swoon worthy and I loved every second of his bristly, moody attitude. I love how Valerie finds her strength both internally and physically. There story was interesting and enjoyable and fits in perfectly with the first 2 books. I can't wait for book 4. Great job Muse. A solid 4.5 star read.

To appreciate this book I suggest you read the first two books in this series. 5 years after the war between the Triquetras, Zade Toussaint is released from his imprisonment, vanishing and untrackable due to destroying his tracking device. Dr Valerie Scott, decides to make a fresh start and leaves Dark Hollows Fall Pack 18 months after. Little does she know, Zade is in the same small town, in fact he is her neighbour. The man responsible for her heartbreak, and her fated mate. This story is of two souls, polar opposites, who discover that their bond is greater than they think and that by working a alongside each other, against the forces trying to destroy their species, they can be victorious. Zade really redeems himself and both characters grow and show a different side to the previous books. Well told by Muse. It is a book you will read a multitude of time. Highly recommended

Zade is released from prison after five years, but only under certain conditions which he will definitely not follow. After a year and a half, Valerie moves to a small town to start over after leaving her pack since she had too many painful memories there. She meets Zade in unusual circumstances after a few days in this town. He is the man who caused her suffering for many years because he took something important from her. And being fated mates, it's not easy for Valerie to accept him. Valerie remembers all of her painful memories when she meets him again, but she also feels an overwhelming feeling of desire.
Valerie is a strong, fiery, dedicated, and caring woman who has overcome many tough situations in her life. She feels weak and less confident as a consequence. She is the way she is now because of her experiences.
Zade is a smart, grumpy, protective, and loyal man with some abandonment issues who finds it hard to connect with people. He makes an effort to keep Valerie safe while also teaching her to pay more attention to her surroundings.
They had a strong and powerful bond from the beginning, but they were unable to be together for many years because of something he did that wounded Valerie.
They were so attracted to each other that they gave up control and dived in, regardless of what other people thought. I admired Valerie's devotion and support of Zade. Zade makes an effort to provide Valerie a sense of safety, calmness, and care. Valerie became stronger, more confident, and powerful as a result of his love, comfort, and patience.
They both healed each other's souls. I adored their banter, their bond, and their devotion to one another.
The plot, the evolution of the events, and the character development are all fantastic.
I was pleased to read about some of the side characters behaviour and the enjoyable details they brought to the story.
I am intrigued to read Atticus's book.

I really enjoyed The Alpha In Me by Moonlight Muse, and I definitely recommend it, especially if you've read the first two books of The Power of 3 series.
I'll be honest... I wasn't sure Zade could win me over.
After the previous book, I was not a Zade fan. He had done things that, in my mind, were impossible to come back from. When he and Valerie were revealed to be fated mates, I honestly couldn't imagine how the author was going to redeem him.
I should have trusted the process, as Muse says.
Without giving away spoilers, Despite neither of them really happy to have discovered they were mates, Fate had other plans for these two. Circumstances force them back together, and while they're fighting a common enemy and uncovering buried secrets, they slowly begin to understand one another. Their relationship felt earned, and I appreciated that it wasn't an overnight transformation.
One of my favorite parts of the story was Zade's character growth. Despite having Alpha blood, he never wanted to lead. He had dedicated his life to another purpose, but over the course of the book he discovers that leadership isn't about wanting power. It's about protecting the people who choose to stand beside you. Watching his small circle of trusted friends slowly become his pack was satisfying.
I also loved seeing characters from the previous two books woven naturally into the story. It really made the world feel connected instead of each book standing on its own.
The story kept me readiing, there was plenty of action, and yes... there is definitely plenty of spice. I was absolutely here for that.
By the end of the book, I genuinely liked Zade, which is something I never thought I'd say after finishing the previous installment. Muse took a character I never expected to root for and completely changed my opinion.
If you've read I Am the Luna and She Is the Alpha, don't skip this one. It's a fantastic continuation of the series.

The Alpha in Me is Book 3 in The Power of Three series. While it follows the events of the previous books, this story focuses on Valérie and Zade after the war ends, so it could technically be read as a standalone if you don’t mind missing some of the backstory and context behind their relationship.
Zade meets Valérie, his fated mate, at the end of Book 2. They are fighting on opposite sides of the war, but when their mate bond snaps into place, Zade's faith in the Moon Goddess ultimately drives him to surrender.
After serving his sentence, Zade is given a second chance at life. Believing there is no other option, he takes it and leaves to start over somewhere new, understanding that he will never see Valérie again.
Valérie, meanwhile, has been struggling ever since discovering who Zade truly is to her—and coming to terms with everything he has done. She decides she needs a fresh start of her own: new job, new town, new life. Of course, fate has other plans, and she soon finds herself face-to-face with the one person she was trying to leave behind.

I absolutely loved this book and Zade is now one of my favourite of Muses mmcs. This follows the story of Zade and Valerie years after they discovered they were mates in the middle of a war they were on opposite sides of resulting in Zade killing her then boyfriend.
This book had everything you could possibly want from one, I was hooked from the beginning and read this within 24 hours. It was exhilarating to read, it had romance, spice, yearning, suspense, battles, light-hearted moments, funny moments and redemption!
Zade was a complex character who stood by his own morals and never apologised for who he was. He was the definition of a bad boy who was a dangerous and pure alpha male. Yet the softness and care he showed Valerie was perfection. I love how he pushed her to be the very queen that she was. This story was his redemption and he became my favourite character from this world. The dynamic between the main characters was sizzling and an utter thrill to read. An added highlight of this book was Zades nephew Xander, he is such a wonderful child character who said it like it was and had me giggling my head off.
The reason Muse is my favourite author is because she fulfils my every need in a book especially with characters from more than just the main characters and this book once again backed up why she is my favourite.

I finished this in less than 24 hours and honestly couldn't put it down! If you're jumping into this series, I would definitely recommend reading the first two books first because it makes Zade and Valerie's story hit so much harder.
I have been waiting for Zade's redemption, and Moonlight Muse absolutely delivered. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about him after everything that's happened, but she completely changed my mind. His character growth was one of my favourite parts of the book.
Valerie was such an easy character to root for. She's strong, stubborn, caring and has been through so much, yet she never gives up. Watching her slowly find herself again had me completely invested, and the chemistry between her and Zade was incredible. Their banter, the tension, the yearning, it was all so well written.
This book had everything I wanted. Romance, spice, action, suspense, emotional moments, redemption and some brilliant lighter moments that made me smile. I also loved catching up with some of the side characters, and now I desperately need Atticus's book!
Moonlight Muse has done another amazing job with this series. This was emotional, addictive and full of heart, and I already can't wait for the next one. Definitely recommend!

I love a good redemption story, and this book is exactly that, Zade being a villain in the previous books of the series. After all his life his moral compass being influenced by the wrong side, he is searching a new purpose. Rough around the edges, he is the mate Valerie needs, a mate that is protecting her, he is building her confidence in her powers and showing her worth. He's also ready to step up for the right cause.
Zade is taking touch her and .... literary. Valerie is falling hard for him and swoonig over him badly. She sure loves him a bad boy. This part was actually entertaining, I loved their banter and dynamics and her falling for him. The plot having a very good balance with the attraction between them and the spice.

If you are not into redemption arcs then this is not the book for you. The third book in the series takes place 5 years after She is the Alpha. Zade Touissaint has been released and in the wind after removing his tracker. No body knows where he has gone. Valerie Scott is still plagued by the memories of losing her boyfriend on the battlefield, decides to move away and starts working in a hospital. Little does she know danger lurks in every corner.
Unbeknown to Zade and Valerie they are now in the same town even the same apartment building. Zane has made a life for himself as a mechanic but when Valerie walks into his shop both their lives take a turn they were not expecting.
Zade is a character that you are not supposed to like. He is ruthless and caused so much heartache is books 1 & 2 but here we are hoping that Valerie can forgive him and give their mate bond a chance. His touch her and die attitude certainly comes through and his efforts to make things right with everyone is a major plus point. Valerie can feel the mate bond around him but is trying to use her head over her heart, when this doesn’t work she decides to give him a chance.
With new dangers around Zade uncovering a plot against werewolves, Zade and Valerie must be careful who they can trust as not everyone is who they seem. “Zade is a sinner, and I’m ready to go to hell with him.”
Zade Toussaint, the man that you are! I first read this story when it was being serialized back in 2024, and holy crap, I had forgotten how much of a Zaddy Zade is!
I not only love Zade's redemption arc in this story—which, trust me, if you read the first 2 books in the series, you won't think there's any redeeming qualities in him—but I also love Valerie's growth. Valerie truly believes that she is weak and not worthy of being a Blood Born, but Zade helps her find her strength and her worth.
Now, Zade is not a nice guy whatsoever. But I love me a bad boy, and so does Val. I truly love how she sees past his "flaws" and learns to accept him for who he is. And also how everyone else accepts him and tries to convince him that there is good in him.
The setup for The Luna For Me was excellent, and I can't wait for that one to come to Kindle as well.

This is book 3 in the Power of Three Series, and more is to come. If you've read the first two books, then you know how well Muse wrote Zade to be the villain. How she kept us on the edge of our seats with questions about each characters destiny, the secrets that were told and how the truth would come out.
What I didn't realize, was how much she could get me to love a character that was the villain. In some ways, Zade hasn't changed. Not when it comes to doing what has to be done without much care to the outcome. But he's smart and his brain is always thinking of the things that some might not even consider.
Everyone lost something or someone during the war, including Valerie who lost her boyfriend, Jai. Five years have passed with Zade as their prisoner and when they let him leave, he vanishes. It's not what they expected, and its not what they wanted.
The last thing Valerie expected was for Zade to be her neighbor when she moved away from the pack.
This book gives you suspense, questions that eventually get answered, and lots of spice! The best part is it gives people second chances, and to actually have a say so over their choices and their life.

I have to give The Alpha In Me 5 stars. I honestly didn’t think Moonlight Muse could make me feel anything for Zade after everything that happened earlier in the series, but somehow she did. That’s what made this book so good.
Zade is the definition of morally gray, and I loved that his story wasn’t about pretending he was perfect. It was about growth, healing, and learning that your past doesn’t have to define your future. Valerie was exactly the person he needed. She’s strong, compassionate, and never let him take the easy way out. Their chemistry was incredible, and I found myself rooting for them even when I told myself I wasn’t going to.
This book took me through every emotion. I smiled, I got frustrated, my heart broke a few times, and by the end I just sat there thinking, “Wow.”
Moonlight Muse has a way of making you question the characters you thought you had figured out. If you love a good redemption arc, fated mates, enemies-to-lovers, and characters with real depth, this book is definitely worth the read.
Now excuse me while I recover because I’m still not over it.

Live this new read from Moonlight Muse. I was patiently waiting for this book after reading Zaia and Sebastian's story. I couldn't wait to see how Zade's redemption would play out. He hurt so many people in the first books in the series. He was led astray but still how do you come back from all the killing?Moonlight Muse did not disappoint with this sequel and found a way for him to reddem himself. Zade and Valerie are amazing together and I was so happy Valerie got her happy ever after, especially after the loss of her first mate.
We can’t forget the man of the hour Zade and how he turned it around. The plot is incredible, the characters are well developed, chef’s kiss. It follows seemlessly from Zaia and Seb’s story. This is the 3rd book in the Power of Three series. After reading the first two books, I never thought I’d be team Zade, but Muse is a miracle writer and makes you love characters you previously grew to hate.
Zade and Valerie were on opposite sides of the war. Zade was a warrior fighting in the name of the Goddess and Valerie was a doctor healing those in need. A tragedy caused by Zade completely destroys Valerie’s world. The Goddess has other plan and made them fated mates.
Five years, they meet again when they are trying to start over and move on. This story is hate to love and two people who learn to strengthen the other. Hopefully leading to a very deserved second chance. If you have read Muse before, she will make you feel all the feels. Muse has a way with right a beautiful tale and leaving you hanging for more.

I really loved Zade’s redemption arc. I am not sure if it was redempiton, bcs he stayed true to himself, he was still this super powerfull cocky bastard who cared deeply for his mate and spoke truth so openly and didn’t give a sh!t what anyone else think. I loved that. On the other hand there were no super interesting plot twists as it was in previous two books (especially the first one was plot twist after plot twist), but here not so much. For me it felt like second book in trilogy (usually the second book tends to be not so interesting but you need to read it for plot line) eventhough it was the third instalment in three interconnected standolem stories with bigger plot line. Anyway I liked the book as always. Muse is my all time favourite werevolf author and I will read whatever she writtes and I can’t wait for the last instalmment in this serie 😊❤️

I honestly didn’t expect this book to pull me in the way it did, but once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. The Alpha in Me had everything I love in a paranormal romance—great chemistry, emotional moments, action, and characters that actually felt real.
What stood out to me the most was the character growth. Nobody was perfect, and that’s what made the story so easy to get invested in. I found myself rooting for the characters even when they made frustrating decisions because their emotions and struggles felt believable.

I have to admit. After the first two books in this trilogy, I didn't want to read this book at first because I was so sad at the loss of a character I loved in those books at the hands of Zade. My heart was broken for Valerie who loved that character after all it took for them to end up together.
I should have known after all these years as a huge fan of Muse, that I should have trusted the process. What an amazing story!!! Muse covered everything from reilience to redemption to love and family. Of course, a steamy love story between a good girl and a bad boy is always a win in my opinion!
I don't know how, but she makes you love each book more than the last one, even when you don't think it's possible.
She makes you love these characters and she still manages to make each story fresh and it's own masterpiece.

This is the third book in the Power of Three series and I couldn’t wait to get to it, as Zade was introduced in the other books and if you know you know so i couldn’t wait to see how the redemption was going to play out and it was perfect.
Zade and Val are fated mates, but have a rocky start to their relationship and she wants absolutely nothing to do with him, but she can’t fight the pull she has to him and with him protected her at every turn, she gives in. And it was exactly what they both needed. He's hard, she is soft but they are perfect for each other.
as the story goes on the two work together to overcome a lot while building their relationship with each other. I loved how he was so protective over the people he cared about and the way he was only really soft for Val while still being exactly who he was.

This book is my fav trope - Everyone deserves a second chance and so did this misguided Alpha. He was an Alpha by birth but was raised with no love, orientation or luxury but he knew that it was his duty to defend his pack against all.
He faithfully followed the guidance of the Goddess and the path laid out for him only to learn it was wrong.
My heart broke for this Touissant sibling who was isolated from his family. The family who didn't know of his existence and had immense love to give. He was challenged with proving himself as a mate whom he was to worship but had hurt the most. This was harder than anything else he had to do.
Another fantastic book by Muse and I love it when they come with a redemption arc.

Love a good morally grey man and this just proved it! I think I loved this book more than the first two even. I did not expect that. But Valerie and Zade were absolute perfection.
Sometimes those we least expect are exactly who we need and this book showed that. Both lost in their own way but managed to see the best in eachother. Zade had to find his way and understand what his journey is. After realizing the path of the goddess he always followed wasn’t the right side, he had had to now discover what his purpose was. Valerie was on her own journey post war after losing her boyfriend. Both on a journey of self discovery.
This book was also action packed and filled with plenty of spice. Def read the first two books to better understand the events within this story.

Zade is that villian that makes you hot and bothered and love him for all his red flags. And Valerie, she deserves a HEA and to be treated right, and she definitely does by her Stallion.
This is such a good story- but has to be read in sequence. But this one follows their lives after the raging war, but now the side of control and caution in the human world. Its fun and flirty, so God damn spicy- Zade and Valerie are both on fire, including the training 🔥 knife play comes out- which is never a dull moment!
And we meet some new characters and potential for the next book.

Meanwhile, Valerie is finding herself and accepting her losses. Fate pushes them together in a small town.
They come together when werewolves are being under attack by humans. Zade trains Valerie. So, she is not the weakest of the Blood Borns. Valarie learns forgiveness while Zade learns to become an alpha. Zade protects his “little mate” whether she likes it or not. The grumpy alpha is really caring under his exterior. I love that their love story is messy and full of trials.

Well, Book 3, The Alpha In Me helped answer those questions with a descriptive, engaging story that shows the power of the bond and that the Moon Goddess always has a plan. These characters have grit and determination in all that they do. With evolving emotions, feeling and desires, this book will have you thinking about underlying social issues while embracing an amazing paranormal romance book.
