When I agreed to attend a Halloween Party with my roommate.

I didn’t realize the impact one simple decision can have.

To say I was led down a dark path is an understatement.

I’d never heard about the secret society, Cavalieri del Regno, before that night,

Never knew that I’d become the property of one of their Knights.

But most of all, I didn’t know how close to home these monsters were.

Damien

Once every five years, on Halloween, the Cavalieri del Regno chose their Queens.

She would serve her Knight until the end of her life.

However long or short was up to her.

When I set eyes on her, bound, masked, and ripe for the picking.

She’d be mine for life.

What I didn’t know, was how closely we were bound.

What a start!! Oh my I loved this… the secret society and desperate need for each other, the families push for the fmc to accept her position. I am so ready for more!
It was dark, taboo and such lovely triggers 😉 you gotta be prepared because this is nothing like the rest of the taboo books!

REVIEW:

This was really interesting and sexy taboo. I loved the setup of the secret society. Loved the steam and the noncon and dubcon.

The only thing is that I definitely want more. As a quickie, I suppose it could sort of stand on its own. But it was written as a prequel to a series that appears to have never been written. So that's really disappointing.

Still, I enjoyed it. I'd love for her to continue to write the series one day. But I'm happy with it as is too.

Si no lees la sinopsis y tampoco prestas atención a las advertencias tienes un plot twist que te vuela la cabeza.
