Shine

Shine is a collection of poems and prayers, currently available exclusively on Kindle. It ranges from simple prayers and intercessions to reflective poetry. Many of the poems tie in with the seasons of Advent and Christmas, but most of the prayers are suitable for use at any time of year. They focus on bringing light into darkness, of the radiance of God shining into the world and our calling to be light bearers.

Lucy Mills is a writer and editor based in the UK.

She's the author of Forgetful Heart: remembering God in a distracted world’, published by Darton, Longman and Todd in 2014. What does it mean to ‘remember’ God? Do we actively recall him in our daily lives? How can we remember him better? It’s a book that uses the language of remembering to ask questions about how our faith impacts our living.

She is a Christian and is married to a Baptist minister. She writes feature articles, poems, occasional songs, attempts at short stories and even the odd novel or two. She also enjoys speaking.
