THOUGHTS: I thought this novella was good, but not great. It felt like something was missing. Maybe the chemistry between the hero and heroine? There were a handful of sex scenes and those were a little mediocre. But regardless, I love instalove novellas and this one was pretty good.

This is an interesting instalove stalker mafia romance. Santino and Renee have an entertaining story. I like how their story unfolded with revelations and romance. There is a great balance with Santino's possessiveness, protectiveness and sweetness. I enjoyed their story

These books would be so much better if you got yourself a good proofreader. The misspelled and missing words throughout the book were distracting. Some of the sentences made my brain hurt trying to read them.
The daddy trope? Why? Not sexy at all and never will be.

Santino Bianchi a.k.a. Beast is the new Don of the Bianchi Crime Family. He inherited the position after the death of his evil, vile, monstrous grandfather. His uncles has a problem with him being the successor because of his age and has been sabotaging his empire and trying to turn his men's against him. Santino was the hitman for the organization before he acquired the position. He gain the name Beast because of his brutality, savagery and ruthlessness. There's a rat in Santino empire that's causing a lot of trouble for him. His warehouse that he keeps all his counterfeit money that was scheduled to be laundering and the machine was blown up and nothing was salvageable. He has a feeling that it is one of his uncles because they feel as if they should be in the position. He knows that it's not an outside person and that's it's someone from within. He has put his second in command Marcus in charge of finding the rat at any means necessary through torture regardless if it's a family member or one of his men. His grandfather was so cold-hearted and ruthless he would often kill one of his men whenever he gets mad about something so therefore his men would always live in fear. But he vowed that he would not run his organization like that or show his anger in front of his men's even though he was boiling on the inside nor go off the deep end.
Santino was raging mad but he didn't reacted violently like his grandfather did in front of his men. He could already see the fear on their faces. He was walking through his territory late at night to cool off after he got the news about the warehouse when he saw a shadow in the alleyway. He went to investigate to see if it was an enemy, but as he got close to his prey he could see that it was a woman. He was intrigued and decided to follow her wherever she was going and she went into a convenience store. He learned that her name was Renee Winters and that she was looking for a job. From the moment he saw her he knows that he had to have her. She was his to follow, his to protect, his to own and his to take care of. Renee is an eighteen year girl who ran away from home because of the constant abuse from her step-dad and the attempted rape. She stole his beat up dented car and ran as fast and far away that her savings could take her. She was staying in a little seedy motel and the wrong side of town where she knew that unscrupulous things take place but she could not afford anything better while she looks for a job that will help her to move and get an apartment. But every where she goes, she gets the same answers sorry we are not hiring at the moment or the position just got filled.
Santino had been following her from the night he saw her in the alley. He wanted to make sure that she was okay and to protect her after he saw where she was living. He could tell that she was running away from something and vow that he would get to the bottom of it. Santino set it up that he would run into her and get a face to face meeting. Renee was coming from diner where she was looking for job where she just got another rejection. She was so in her head worrying about her funds that she crossed the street before looking both ways and could have gotten ran over. However, it was Santino who was driving the car. He came out and asked her if she was okay but she was so mesmerized by his beauty that she got tongue tied. The two kissed and he asked her if she would let him take care of her. Renee had never been attracted to anyone like she did Santino and was shocked that she allowed him to kiss her. She agreed to let him take care of her. Because he knew where she was staying and wanted to take care of her. He wrote her a five thousand dollar check. She didn't want to accept the check but he convinced her to do so. The check could actually help her to breathe a little better and she won't have to hit the street daily to look for a job.
Renee call Santino when she got back to the motel and he invited her out to dinner. Her step-father had reported his car stolen and wanted to press charges anytime they find the car. Because she was going out with Santino and he tells her to use some of the money to get a nice dress she had to drive the car. She had been Santino obsession and had gotten under his skin and he followed her day and night without her knowing. She was coming back from the bank and shopping when the police hit the lights for her to pull over. She just knew that she was going to go to jail and the worst thing is they were going to turn over to back to her step-father so she started to cry. Her phone was ringing as the waited for the officer and she thought that she would answer the call because it could be one of the many job that she had applied for calling her with an offer. But it was Santino on the line telling her that she will be okay and not to tell the officer anything and that he will take care of everything. She was flabbergasted and wondered how he knew that she was stopped by the police until he came to her car and tells her to get all of her things and put them in his car and wait for him. Santino has the chief of police and some other cops on his payroll. But he didn't know how this one would react. He tells him to pretend that he found the car abandoned on the side of the road and he paid off the officer who accepted the bribe.
Renee had a lot of questions for Santino but didn't know how to ask him. She knew that he had to be powerful and rich because of his clothing, his sports car and his penthouse. She two was really attracted to each other and Santino couldn't way to have her. They made love in front windows where they could look outside at the city. Santino didn't want he to go back to the seedy motel and live with him so that he could take care of her. But when Marcus called him in the middle of the night because he had located the rat he didn't have a choice but to leave to go and take care of it. He took so long in coming back and she didn't wanted to disturb him even though he told her to call him if she needed anything. She didn't know what to do with herself and started snooping around and when she came up on a file in his office with everything about her life even things that should be confidential she got scared and knew that he had broken the law in order to gain access to her adoption records. Her insecurities started to set in and she wondered if what he said about how he felt and she was his if it was true or he was only using her, so she decided to go back to her motel.
But when she got there she noticed that her room was toss and her things were every where. She was deciding what to do when her step-father came out of the bathroom. He was yelling and calling her a whore for being gone all night and how she giving her vagina to everyone but didn't want to give it to him. He was trying to rape her but Santino burst into the room with guns blazing. She had never been more grateful in her life to see someone. He tells her to and wait outside with his second in command and he would take care of this. Santino killed her step-dad and had his clean up crew take out the trash. After everything that occurred she knew that she can't be afraid to ask him the burning questions that had plagued her for a long time. He tells her that he was the Don of the Bianchi family and surprising she enough she didn't have a problem with it or the fact that he had been stalking her the entire time. They fell in love and later got married with two kiddos. But Santino did not change even when he got her. He still followed her around to make sure that she was safe, but this time she knew that he was always in the shadows not too far away from away. I devoured this book and thought that it was sweet.

A wonderful novella about a young woman who steals her stepfather’s car to get away from his abusiveness and winds up meeting a mafia don.
The mafia don has a problem about a rat in his organization and he has his men get him the answers he needs. A warehouse that the mafia don was using for money laundering was set on fire by a rat that he thinks is working with his uncle.
Before the two even meet the mafia don finds her walking in the dark in his territory and follows her, from the first sight of her he knew she would be his one day and a couple of days later they meet face to face. The mafia don almost runs over the young woman, what she doesn’t know is that he has been following her. The mafia don gets out to help her and they kiss, they talk and he asks her to dinner giving her a check to help her.
The young woman uses the stolen car to go get an outfit for tonight's dinner with the mafia don, even though she doesn’t know he’s a mafia don yet. Before she could get back to her hotel room she gets pulled over by a cop, before she can get hysterical her phone rings and it’s the mafia don, they talk for a moment before they get off the phone. The mafia don gets to where the young woman is stopped at and gets out of the car calling to the cop the tow talk and he tells the woman to get out of the car and get her things, giving the cop some money before they leave.
The mafia don takes the young woman to his apartment where she looks at the place in awe. The mafia don gives her oral sex and they wind up having sex. They wind up going to his bed and fall asleep. The mafia don gets woken up late at night about a problem he has been having his men figure out and they found the man who was the rat in his organization. The mafia don has the woman stay in his apartment to sleep and he leaves to go to the address that his second sends him. They find the rat and the mafia don doesn’t have to touch him because the young guy tells him everything and that it was his uncle who had the warehouse burned down. The mafia don talks to his second about the young guy and his uncle.
The young woman wakes up making coffee before sitting in front of the window thinking about everything. The young woman decides to do some snooping and finds some papers in the mafia don’s office about the stolen vehicle, about her mom marrying her stepfather and the adoption paper about her stepfather adopting her. The young woman can’t believe he has those papers so she gets dressed and gets on a bus to go home to her motel room. The young woman gets to her motel room to find the door open and everything strung all over the room. The young woman’s stepfather comes out of the bathroom he grabs her as he talks to her, he throws her onto the bed but before he can do anything she moves but he grabs her ankle. That’s when the door to the motel room flies open and the mafia don is standing there with a gun in his hand, he tells the young woman to go to the car and that someone is in it to protect her.
The young woman gets to the car getting into the back with tears coming the mafia don’s second hands her tissues. Not long after the mafia don comes getting into the back with the young woman, he tells his second to go as he calls someone. They get to his apartment and he tells her everything after she asks him about it. The young woman tells him about going into his office and they talk more, she runs off and he chases her. After getting her they have sex, he takes her to bed where they fall asleep but not before they tell one another that they love each other.
Eight years later the two are married. They are in the back of a car having sex while heading to a gala for her charity. The charity is for kids and young adults who are in a bad way. The couple has two children that are at home. When the couple finish having sex they get themselves straightened up before heading into the gala where her event planner is waiting for her. The young woman goes with the event planner the mafia don waits a bit before following them, he makes sure that his wife is always safe. The young woman looks around acting like she doesn’t notice him but she always does, she gives him a smile before the event planner gets her attention.
Amazing character with action as well as steamy romance, an easy to read page turner that has a happy ever after ending.

Typical petite childlike blonde FMC, big stalker mobster guy. The fact that he calls her "little girl" when she looks like a child makes me rather uncomfortable in so many ways. Why people think making the FMC a child (well child like) is beyond me.

The FMC, Renee is also as dumb as they come. She just lets some random guy she doesn't know kiss her and give her a check for 5 grand without even questioning what he would want in return. Then she actually calls him later and agrees to go on a date with him, all because she's never been taken care of before? And with comments like not knowing how to touch herself because virgins don't know those types of things makes me seriously question her age. Is she even old enough that she finished high school? Do they not still teach sex education in school anymore? I know they don't teach you how to get yourself off in school but seriously you'd learn the basics about your own anatomy to figure it out.

It was repetitive and surprisingly in a book this short there were a lot of missing words, weird sentences/improper English, etc. What I mean by it's surprising, is that you would think in a book this short the author would at least take a moment to proof read their book before shipping it off.

I haven't read one of this author's books in a while but now I remember why I stopped. The lack of story, the childlike FMC, the virgin innocence bordering on perverted, and the Daddy thing. All of this was a one stop trip to making my skin crawl. She even sounds younger when he calls himself Daddy by answering "Please, Daddy. Want that." No, I want that or anything of the sort. It makes her seem like she's a toddler and not knowing how to speak. I was very close to a DNF because that's how creeped out I was but I wanted to know if anything ever happened with the plot of her running from her step father for.. well you find out when he's dealt with but the whole end of that was bordering on stupidity on her part. She literally ran away from Santino's place because she finds out he's been looking into her and she's scared (as she should be) but then after he finds her and saves her from her step dad she fucks him and all is fine? Ugh these books make my brain hurt.

Renee needed to escape her stepfather so she took his car and headed as far as she could. But the little money that she had saved is dwindling fast and she needs to get a job and get one fast. It’s when things look like they cant get any worse that she meets Santino, he is nothing like the men that she has known so far in her life, he is a man that looks like he can take on the world and win, she is falling fast for him but what does she really know about this man that has appeared in her life and can she trust everything she is saying or should she run from the life that he is offering her?

Santino took one look at Renee and fell hook line and sinker for her, but he can see that she is running from something and being the head of a mafia family, he knows how to be invisible that is until he makes his move. Finding everything he can about her life he knows that he will be the one to keep her safe and the only person he trusts is himself. Becoming her stalker wasn’t exactly what he had planned but he needs her in his sights at all times. He has been waiting to claim his woman but when her stepfather finds her and he discovers what plans he had for her, the waiting is over, but how will she react when he discovers who Santino really is will his happy ever after be over before it even began?

This is another insta everything with great characters that I loved, if I have any complaints, it would be that there needed to be more of a back story to explain exactly why she was running from her stepfather that sort of felt like it was glossed over quickly with barely any information of her past. 4.2* read

The You'll Be Mine Series is off to a great start with Cassi Hart's book Stalked by the Mobster. This series is a collaborative work with eight books and eight authors. I am excited to read the next seven books and see what each of them will bring to the table.

The plot for this book was original, it was fun, it was sweet, it was exciting, it was spicy and most importantly it had wonderful characters. I loved both Santino and Renee which made it easy for me to feel a connection with both of them. These two were perfect for one another. Cassi got my attention from the minute I began reading the story and made it impossible for me to put the book down until I read the last page. With each story I read by Cassi I find myself continuously reminded of why she is my favorite author when it comes to quick easy read books.

Renee is on the run from her abusive stepfather. One evening while she is out trying to find a job she unknowingly becomes the obsession of Santino who is a mob boss. He will stop at nothing until he wins her affection so that he can keep her by his side forever. But, what will happen when Renee discovers Santino has been stalking her? Can this sweet innocent girl look past the fact he is the head of his mafia organization?

If this were anything other than a novella, I don’t think it’d pack near the same punch. For full length novels you have certain expectations of what they should contain, both time wise as well as relationship development and it’s rare that a novella can compete. That being said, sometimes all I want is a quick, hot, insta-love romance and a long drawn out romance just won’t do (and for some reason, lately that’s been more and more the case).
Anyway, I said all that to say this, as an insta-love novella, this was a 5 star read for me (I LOVE Santino!) but if it’d been a longer novel, I would’ve had a couple of issues; first, if there’d been longer to flesh the story out, I would’ve said Renee was too materialistic and been turned off but considering time constraints and all… and second, even with as hot as I considered Santino to be, there was no indication (to Renee) that he had any real feelings for her other than lust and I wouldn’t have been as invested in their story as I was with this story.
Regardless, if, like me, you were just looking for a hot little read, you’re gonna love this one! 5 stars!! Wanting a longer read? Maybe look some more later but in the meantime this makes for a delicious palate cleanser. (Still 5 stars!).

Their journey is enthralling with being stalked by the mobster, an alpha hero, an age-gap, happily ever after, over the top instalove romance, a possessive hero, drama, heartfelt emotions, explicit romance that is consumed by steamy sizzling passion, lust, desire, and spice with all the feelings to have readers' toes curling, lurking in the shadows, ever watchful, always protective. Santino, the Devil, Beast, Monster, known for his ruthlessness, and a leader who is fair, just, and exacting, stumbled upon a strange, mysterious girl who is named Renee. She is running from her step father and her home, living out of shady, crumbling hotels and the car that she stole from him, drama, heartfelt emotions, horrific pasts, action, adventure, suspense, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with being stalked by the mobster and explicit romance that is sure to transport readers into a world of dark dangerous endeavors that are unforgettable.

Santino is someone that is infamously feared, but he sees Renee on the streets and literally starts stalking her. He pretends to almost run her over and then writes her a huge check, then arranges to meet for dinner but the plans get waylaid because he saves her from getting pulled over for having stolen her step dad's car and he ends up taking her v-card, then leaving to go deal with some other crooks; she wanders around the house and finds all his "research" on her and thinks it's a red flag (as if everything else wasn't?) so she leaves his house but her step dad finds her but Santino arrives just in time before the stepdad is able to do anything to Renee.

Yes this story was quite OTT and Santino was such a cliche and stereotype but yet he came across as quite sexy and not cheesy. He was also a walking red flag (like, he had to stalk her? He couldn't just have gone to talk to her?) but despite that he was always so good to Renee and actually his obsession was rather sweet and the characters had quite good chemistry. So it was overall quite a fun short read.

Part of the You’ll Be Mine series each can be read as a standalone with a crazy but sexy and the one who captures his undivided attention without knowing or trying. Santino sexy as all get out mafia boss someone you don’t want to upset with you, he is dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly everyday and when he comes face to face with the one that will change his path intending on keeping her safe. Renee is a sweetheart when she wants to be running from a troubled past of an abusive stepfather and running into the mafia leader wasn’t on her list of things to do yet she finds herself on the radar of one of the most dangerous men out there. Santino steps outside his reputation showing her a rare side few have seen in the ruthless boss yes he is most definitely a stalker with the intention of keeping her safe the magnetic pull between them can be ignored and his possessiveness is what is needed to protect her but when his enemies come after her to get to him will he be there to keep her safe, will her stepfather get what he deserves, and can these two find their way to something more than stalking?

This was a fast insta-everything read. The mmc was obsessed from the first sight of her. He knew what he wanted and he was going to take it. The fmc was sweet and shy. The plot was very small but we got a little bit of it. Overall this was a fast read but entertaining. This was a first by this author but I'll definitely check out her other work.

Stalked by the Mobster is a short 'n insta-love read by Cassi Hart. Santino is a mafia kingpin that is taking midnight walk in his territory, to clear his head after learning about a rat in his organization. A small shadow darting in alleyway draws his attention. He follows the shadow & realizes it is a young woman & he is instantly curious. He finds out her name is Renee. He follows her for a few days and orchestrates a meet - by *almost* running her over that leads to a very sizzling first kiss. 💋🔥 (She never was in any danger from him.) I'm a big fan of this author's work, and I know that I'm guaranteed a quick and steamy read with plenty of instalove, a virgin heroine, a big, strong man who likes to be called Daddy, and a girl who can bring him to his knees. Stalked by the Mobster definitely delivered.
Rene has run away from home and is currently living in a grotty motel while she tries to find a job. A chance encounter with Mafia Don Santino puts her firmly in his sights, so he begins to follow her, orchestrating the moment they meet and setting his plan into action to make her his.
It's low-angst, but there is a little bit of danger, and it's not all on Santino's side when Rene's past catches up with her. I really enjoy how the author can get across the stoic, strong, and scary nature of the main male characters without taking the book down a dark route. Don't get me wrong. I love dark romance and mafia novels, but the author's mafia-lite novellas are a guilty pleasure that I never say no to.

The Beast of the Bianchi family is prowling aimlessly in the night trying to uncover which of his uncles has been traitorous, when his thoughts are interrupted by a young girl acting furtively. Renee Winters is desperately looking for a job, using a burner phone, living in a seedy motel, all in an attempt to escape her stepfather. Santino Bianchi is compelled to follow and protect her. Read how everything changes for the both of them when Santino approaches Renee and asks to take care of her. Their magnetism is compelling and despite this morally grey hero, we are compelled to like him, because he’s helping a young girl in distress. This is closer to an age gap romance with Ddlg elements. Overall, a good storyline with a little steam. ❤️‍🔥

Regardless of the dark tropes and triggers happening, it was still a sweet read. The MMC is a dark Don who spots the runaway and is drawn to her. He follows her and does everything he can to protect her.
 
The FMC is innocent, yet resilient after a rough home life and running away. When they finally meet-meet, they are so adorable and HOT together. The steam is 🥵🔥🥵
 
The ending is adorable and steamy. I highly recommend this one, it’s my new favorite Cassi story! ❤️❤️❤️

Although they met under different circumstances than described in the blurb for this book, there is no denying the intensity of Santino’s obsession with Renee. At only eighteen years of age, it was easy to imagine her fear and anxiety in an unfamiliar city after running away from home. All the more reason why I thought it was strange that she accepted a check from a complete stranger just because he said he wanted to look after her. Hmmm. Not suspicious at all! Just as improbable was the idea of the head of the Bianchi Family running around the city stalking this young girl. However, having said all that, I loved the way Santino wanted to protect Renee and give her anything her heart desired and that he was always there when she needed him most. That's the type of stalker a girl could get really used to.

Cassi Hart has given us another wonderful story. This is the story of Santino and Esmee. He is the mafia king and rules with a strict hand. One night while out for a walk, he ponders how to deal with the suspicion that there is a rat in his organization. When he sees her he knows she is his, and he follows her for a while until the right moment comes to speak to her. Esme is on the run from her abusive stepfather and he knows at that moment that she is and will always be his and that he protects what is his and will fight anyone who wants to harm or hurt her. So her stepfather can babysit. I won't reveal how it goes next, but I can say that there is a trigger warning in their story, but it is highly recommended to read.

Beast Boss’s Little Girl

Santino is the new head of the Mafia and is known as the Beast. He’s big, tough and you don’t want to mess with him. When he sees Renee trying to get a job, he’s drawn to her like nobody else before. He becomes completely obsessed and starts to follow her, trying to figure out how to maker her his. She is meant to be his.

Renee is struggling on her own, but she has no choice. She can’t go back to her abusive stepfather. While trying to find a job and safe place to stay, she’s gets involved with Santino. He wants to take care of her and they have some super steamy chemistry.

I really enjoyed this story. Love a good bad guy who wants to take care of his girl, even if that involves a little stalking in the beginning. It’s all in the fantasy.

Santino is the hunky Don of the Bianchi crime family. Renee is an 18 year old virgin on the run from her abusive stepfather. When Santino sees her sneaking around his territory one night, he is captivated by her and becomes obsessed. He stalks her until he is able to actually meet her. This starts a whirlwind romance, but what happens when Renee finds out who he is? Can she trust him? When her past comes back, can Santino keep her safe? This couple had insane chemistry. There is a little bit of angst, but then we got an amazing HEA. This was a great start to the new series.

A View of the City Lights.
Fantastic. Santino follows her wherever she goes. He wants to know everything about her and to keep her safe. Once he learns her name, unbeknownst to her, finds all about her. Renee is running from her abusive stepfather who is also psychotic. She stole his car to make her escape. She’s looking but not finding a job. After almost being hit crossing the street the driver stops and gives funds to take of herself for a while. Santino really wants to take care of her for the rest of her life but, he can’t scare her off before he can prove to her that he’s serious. Renee is pulled over by a cop in the stolen car and she knows that she’s done for. Will end up back in her stepfather’s creepy clutches, again?.

Santino is the don of his family and is also known as the Beast due to his tactics. One day he runs across Renee. He could tell that she was running from something or someone. Right then and there, he knows that she belongs with him.
Renee is intrigued by Santino and is willing to risk being with him even without knowing anything about him. So much happens between them. There is a daddy kink that works well for the storyline.
I felt a certain amount of happiness for Renee because she found someone to take care of her- even if he does stalk her. He has saved her on more than one occasion. Renee was exactly what Santino was looking for. They both got what they wanted.

What I thought- this book is short and simple. The hero instantly loves the heroine and stalks her, which outside of a romance novel would be creepy, but here it’s sweet. They each fill a need for the other. A nice happy ending makes this rags-to-riches tale a feel good story.
