This was a nice read. It is a feel good steamy romance!
This Contemporary Hockey Romance is a steamy read with overall feel good vibes.
The romance is a fast burn, with spice happening pretty quickly. This is a second chance at love romance.
The book is very spicy. There may be themes that may make some uncomfortable. Please check for trigger warnings.
The book moves at a steady pace following the FMC after her divorce as she fulfills her fantasies.
The characters are written well with great personalities, and back stories.
The world building is done in a realistic manner in contemporary times. It makes getting lost in the story very easy.

Reverse age gap isn’t typically my go to trope but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This book is about a woman who was married for 25 years and is now divorced and looking to broaden her education on sexual experiences. She ends up putting out an ad for partners in a fantasy she has. Emily’s ex-husband would never allow her to try anything new and said that her fantasies were dirty. On the other hand, we have the mmc Brant who is a 34-year-old hockey player and gym enthusiast. He was a notorious player who continuously looked for that one person, but could not find them. He is a bisexual male who thought he would be judged by his friends for his sexual orientation, however they all, encouraged him to be who he is. After they meet up to fulfil Emily‘s fantasy, Brant can’t get her out of his head and is thrilled when he runs into her at the gym. They start spending time together, and she asks him to show her sexual experiences that she has never had the chance with. Their relationship starts to progress and they both start to develop feelings for one another however this takes a turn when Emily hosts Easter dinner at her house for her son Jace and he states he is bringing a friend with him to dinner. Brant walks through the door to Emily‘s house first and that is when everything blows up and Jace finds out that his best friendis sleeping with his mom.

This was just a good read. A book that makes you comfortable to not feel shame in what you would want in your sex life. I just got into age gap and hockey romances lately so this was a good combo for me. I loved the story about how the fmc believed she would never love again and little did she know she had someone waiting for her. Even if he was younger than her. I liked the build up of tension between the characters. The spice was experimental and hot! I loved how the main characters communicated with each other and felt safe with each other. I definitely did not expect the connection between them at the end and I liked not being able to predict that. Overall it was a nice age gap book & definitely spicy!

“Why would we need to worry about a bedframe?” I ask as I follow, not bothering with my pants. “I want to make sure you have something to grip. I need to see how many times you can come while riding my face.”

This book was so good! Starting out, I was unsure about the MMF part since it’s not usually my thing but Tanya wrote it so amazingly, I enjoyed that part of it. The plot was good and the spice…phew! So delicious lol. Definitely a must read!

I like the idea of this book. The story has potential, but the writing is just so bad. Both the paragraph and sentence structure need some serious editing. In fact, this entire book could do with a good copy and line edit.
If you think you’re picking up a college or professional hockey book, this is not that. If you think you’re getting a MMF why choose book, this is also not that. There’s one scene that’s an MMF with sword crossing. Just one. This is a book that’s 90% spice with 10% poorly written plot.

ok Tanya you did it. i found a boyfriend i love more than Gideon.
Brant is everything i love in a man and he was bi.... perfection
i could not stop reading until i finished this book. i was hooked from the dedication alone.
i mean when Brant said " you want to turn into a caterpillar tomorrow? a worm? ill put you in my pocket and keep you till i can find a jar of dirt." "id still like you if you turned into a potato." SWOOOOOON!!!
he always knew that right thing to say and he was so patient with em.
although unconventional their relationship turned into something real and i was rooting for it. brant and Em were made for each other. i highly recommend this book 10 out of 10 stars.

Enjoyed this reverse age gap romance! The mmc is to die for and I loved the chemistry between the two. Older female and younger male is definitely not something I have read much of, but this book makes it worth looking for more!

I received this book as an ARC reader from the author, and this book was SO GOOD. I was so excited to see how the characters connected to each other and it did not disappoint. The spice was spicy, but the storyline was even better!!

Review: This is the first non dark romance that I’ve read in a while. Getting used to not having that adrenaline rush while reading took time; but it was worth it for this adorable hockey/ getting into dating again/ being considerate of others’ feelings combination.
Pace was fast and there were quite a few s3x scenes. I liked the set-up in the beginning on how they met.
Both Brant and Emily have funny, smart-mouth moments that had me laughing.
The hockey element was more to the side but offered a nice reprieve for character development.

This was a good read. We get the spice pretty much right away, and I wasn’t mad about it. It was a lot spicier than I had anticipated, but it only added to the story. Emily, a recent divorcee, is ready to put herself back out there and find her pleasure and fulfill some of her fantasies her ex-husband wanted nothing to do with. She puts an ad out and interviews potential candidates and finds Cory and Brant. They help her fulfill her wildest fantasies, and after one night, they go their separate ways. Brant, however, can’t stop thinking about Emily, and as fate would have it, they run into each other at the gym. Their chemistry is off the charts, and they decide to start hanging out more because Emily trusts Brant to help fulfill more of her fantasies. Emily made it clear she doesn’t want love again, and Brant is open and ready to find the one, and he thinks that’s Emily. He never pressures her to be more but shows her he cares by doing the little things. Emily starts to wonder if maybe she can have something more with Brant and that she shouldn’t let her past dictate her future. Brant and Emily bond over going to the gym and meal prep, and they realize how easy life could be with one another. Emily gets caught in a pickle at the end of the book and needs to decide if Brant is worth the risk. I loved how Emily wasn’t afraid to take charge of her pleasure and seek it out and not be embarrassed about it. Emily and Brant had a big age gap, but it never felt that way. As someone who recently started reading spice, I'm still a little bit new in the genre. But YES!!! This was awesome!
Emily's marriage has ended after 25 years being together with a very vanilla man. And now that she is single, she isn't looking for mr. Right, maybe she is looking for mr. Wrong. Who can help her fulfill her sexual bucketlist. In fact, she's looking for 2 Mr. Wrongs.
One of those guys is Brant, a younger man, a hockeyplayer and he fills her wishes (and not only that)... Emily is most certainly NOT looking for a relationship, but somehow they keep meeting and hooking up.

I found that I actually liked the storyline of this book. The opening and the set up of the main characters was unique and roped me in.
However, the further I got into it the more repetitive it was, and rather mundane. For example, nearly every chapter describes to you that the character goes home, showers, makes food, sits down to eat and checks their phone. 🙄 I found myself skimming through a lot of this.
Additionally, once you get past that, the conversation in this book is incredibly awkward between all of the characters, and it needs a really good edit. I had a hard time deciphering what some things should say, and sorting out the poor sentence structure.
I was also very put off by how obsessive this group of characters are about being a “player”, it’s constantly mentioned, or compared to another friend/player, the MFC wants a player, “I thought you were a player”, all the guy friends go on about being proud to be players….it was a lot.

Emily's first meet-up after her divorce was two guys and her. This goes well with their third Cory. Brandt had actually had experience with Cory unbeknownst to him at a local hangout spot for chance encounters. Brandt starts to feel more for Emily and wants to pursue her after running into her in the gym later. Emily is older than Brandt and not looking for a commitment. Brandt starts wearing her down as they have so many commonalities between them. It's easy to be together with each other.
The plot is carried through easily. The smeggsy was definitely 🔥. As they get to know each other, they have more in common than it seems with her son in the mix.
I'm glad I read this book after an ARC for another couple mentioned in it.

This is a book I didn’t know I needed! This book is my first reverse age gap, MMF, and hockey romance. I can’t get over the fact that there is a sex bucket list! The spice and romance in this book was most definitely there.
Emily is a character who one can easily relate to. Shes down to earth and trying to figure out what/who she wants in life after her divorce.
This book was a quick read for me even with my busy lifestyle. I just wish that some of the dialogue was a little bit more clearer on who was talking. For the most part, I followed the story but there were a few times I did have to restart to figure out who was talking. Usually within the bigger group chats they were having.
I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a new hockey romance! I can’t wait to read more of Tanya Lynn books. Happy Reading!

Hooked from start to finish, devouring every single word to the point I lost track of time and actually ended up reading until 4 am , going through so many different emotions from speechless to yelling outta frustration, to smiling and laughing and sobbing like a baby . But what never wavered was how invested I became in Brant and Emily and how hard I was was rooting for them to get their happily ever after . This really was such a fun and sexy read . I am such a lover of second chance and hockey romances ( Pucking His Princess was the perfect blend of both , not to mention filled with angst , witty banter , love , passion, drama , off the charts chemistry, heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, unexpected surprises, wonderfully written characters, family , friendships, phenomenal world building and so much more . What an emotional rollercoaster.

Omg Tanya Lynn you did it again!!! I could not put this book down. This is my first hockey romance and it didn't disappoint 🙌 I was hooked from the dedication alone. 👏 I was captivated from the beginning to the end. The spice was off the charts 🔥🔥 Even though it's unconventional with these characters I was rooting from them all the way through. Highly recommend this book!!

Pucking His Princess is the first book in the Durham Daggers series. This is an age gap son’s best friend hockey romance. Although this is a contemporary sports romance please check the content warnings. This book focuses on Emily, a divorced mother in her 40’s, and Brant, her son’s best friend and teammate, in his 30’s. I love how the characters are older and relatable. This story will show you how much Emily’s ex-husband destroyed her confidence and hardened her heart, and doesn’t believe she is ever destined for love. There are lots of feelings, laughs, anger, uncertainty, betrayal and tons of spice!!! Loved this book and can’t wait for the 2nd book to come out!!! I received this from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

Absolutely loved reading Emily and Brant's story.
Emily got divorced from a very vanilla guy and was looking to fulfill one of her fantasies. She got on a website and found what she was looking for, though it was only supposed to be one night of hot fun it turned into something a little more than that. She felt a really good connection with Brant and he felt a good connection with her as well. Their relationship really developed throughout the entire story. I don't want to spoil too much but I will say it was high in spice and there are TRIGGER WARNINGS that don't need to be overlooked just in case it is not your cup of tea.
Can't wait to see what Tanya does with the other hockey guys in the group!!

This was such a sweet story about an older woman trying to find her way after a bad divorce. She had a very non spice love life and she is looking to explore all the things she missed out on. She goes online looking to experience her fantasy. Little does she know she is about to meet Brant. Brant and her have a great time. He wants to explore it further but she is reluctant to further the interactions. Fate has other things in store. I really liked how he knew she was what he needed and he gave her space to not only realize it but also showed up for her to prove himself. He was definitely boyfriend material. The author did a great job at portraying the real human emotion. This is my first book by this author but it will definitely not be my last. I cannot wait to read more of her books.

Pucking his princess is the 5th book by Tanya Lynn that I have read, and once again, she has produced a book that is exciting, dragged me in, and yet left me feeling calm while reading. I love Tanya's writing style. There is plenty of spice and a good storyline to hook me in. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that I felt the sword crossing was only a tease, I would have loved more. But that's because I love why choose with all parties together. The only other thing was that I was enjoying the book so much that I felt it ended too soon. I would love an extended epilogue or something. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and will likely read it again when the mood strikes.

Wow!!! Beyond what I expected. My first book by Tanya Lynn and I’m a fan! Brant the hockey player on and off the field finds himself a one night stand with Emily. Emily is divorced and trying to find herself and what better way then to live our your sex fantasy with two men. What she didn’t plan on was falling for Brant. This is a great book with some amazing spice. I loved the unexpected twist that puts a wrench in their relationship. Ultimately I was definitely team Emily and loved how she went after what she wanted in and out of the bedroom. Brant is the perfect fake book boyfriend!

I loved that this was a reverse age gap and best friends mom....I mean yes, please!
There was only ONE SCENE with MMF and ⚔️ but it was well written and even with this book having a lot of spice in it, I still felt there was a good story behind it. This book still gave you the feelings and it was about a woman finding her $ę❌uaIity and experimenting. Now once she found the right parter, she was happy to experiment with him.
I read some other reviews and people not liking the author's writing style but that's just it, its her writing style. There is nothing wrong with it, it's up to you as the reader if you like that style or not. I think the author did a wonderful job with his story. I think the only thing I would have liked to see is where the other man ended up but he was very clear that he couldn't do intimacy and sometimes we don't get the closure we wanted and that is ok.
I absolutely loved the Easter scene! I was laughing when he took the Ham 😂
I love that the focus was on the FMC getting her sexual bucket list fulfilled.
I think the angst was well done, even though I could see the twist coming but I loved reading this book. I would also like to thank Tanya for letting me ARC read this.
