Monster Unleashed

Rate this book
What would you do if the one fate chose for you vanished into thin air? What would you give up? Who would you become to stay with that person?

Krista Bell Johnston finally knows what it's like to be free. The torture she endured at the hands of her psychotic father has unleashed the monster her mother tried so hard to help her suppress. The only thing she wants to do is be the shadow in the night that everyone is afraid of.

Taser “Taz” Jameson is barely holding it together. He lost Kris once to her father and now he's losing her to the monster she is becoming. He's also barely containing his own monster since Krista decided she didn't need her mates anymore. Nathan is still near but he may not be enough.

Nathan Brimming, Jr. is on the verge of losing not one but both of his mates. One vanished without a trace. The other is avoiding him. He has run out of patience with them both.

But when the monster that Krista has become comes to them with a proposal; will they take her up on it and possibly lose themselves or will they try to talk her down and get the beast to put back on her chain?

** I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK, BY THE AUTHOR, IN RETURN FOR AN HONEST REVIEW **

.

I really enjoyed Book 1, so since I had already been gifted a copy of book 2, I was eager to jump straight into it. This is the type of trilogy that leaves you hanging by your fingertips on a cliff edge at the end of every book. So let me just say now that if you don’t like cliffhangers, then you won’t like this series, because they’re all over the place. None more so than at the end of each book.

But, let’s get to the story.

Like Book 1, there are one or two niggles that I’ve noticed. I’m in edit mode right now with my own stories, so it makes it more obvious to me. But it’s just little things like using ‘defiantly’ instead of ‘definitely’, and ‘tanner’ instead of ‘tanned’, both of which could be auto-correct errors.

The other little niggle is that at the top of Chapter 3, it takes us a little while to realise that we’re back in the past, in one of Jenny’s flashbacks. It would have helped to have a little ‘Flashback’, or ‘In whatever year’ at the top, just so that we had an instant realisation that we were going back. While I was reading it, I started off thinking I’d missed something because she was talking about trusting a man and it didn’t fit with the last thing we’d seen of her. However, it only took half a page to get me back on track, but it would have been less confusing with some warning.

Also, there’s this moment in the present when Nathaniel tells Jenny he’s going to explain how he’s survived so long and what happened after she left his house all those centuries or whatever ago. But he doesn’t. He briefly explains that his brother shows up, but we don’t get any explanation why or what happened next. His brother never leaves, so we don’t know what happens with that, and we also don’t find out if Jenny left in time or not, because we never saw her leave either. It seems unfinished, and I can only hope that Book 3 will tie off the loose ends.

As for the story, I really enjoyed it. It was very similar to read as the first book, which is a bonus because it felt as it they had been written side by side. I still love my Nathan and Tazer, and my Jackson and Taylor. They’re my boys and that’s not going to change. However, I really didn’t like Krista in this one. I get that she went through a lot in Book 1, but considering how strong a Mystic is supposed to be, you’d think she would have more resilience, from being Jenny’s daughter. After all, look at everything Jenny’s been through and she’s not a jumped up wacko. But, I also get that Krista isn’t like her mother. She got most of her genes, unfortunately, from her father and that explains a heck of a lot.

I really enjoyed getting to see more of the twin Oracles, and finding out about the Mooyers. That was a whole side of the story I didn’t see coming. I actually thought at the end that Isabelle and Alexander might get together in Book 3, then whammo, in came James and the whole story turned on its head for me. As far as I’m concerned, Book 3 is going to be the best of the bunch and the story is going to twist like a tornado in every chapter.

There are some awesome surprises and plot twists in this book and I look forward to readig Book 3, but there was one really big thing that didn’t sit well with me: it ended too soon! It feels like we’ve ended in the middle of a chapter or paragraph. I get that it’s a cliffhanger, but it makes my teeth itch to have to wait to find out what’s going to happen.

This is the third installment (including prequel) of the Dark Indiscretions books and what a riveting ride it was. DIMU picks up nine months after Krista’s kidnapping by her sadistic father James in Dark Indiscretions and she is not coping well. Due to the torture at her father’s hand, Krista’s dark Mystic side has emerged and not only does she not want to bottle it back up, but she is relishing in her new found side. All the other amazing paranormal beings author, Shakuita Johnson, has invented are out for Krista’s blood as she is rouge and needs to be put down.
She knew she had to put Krista down, if for no other reason, but to protect her from herself. It would be hard though. The hardest thing she had ever had to do. Killing her parents, brothers, and uncle wouldn’t ever compare. She may never come back from this one, not fully, anyway.
DIMU is an exciting chase of cat and mouse, secrets revealed, and frustrations. In the midst of chases is the jaw dropping inter-species M/M and M/F/M love scenes that left me panting for more. This has been my favorite of the series and the ending left me salivating for the next episode, Seer Destined. Dark Indiscretions: Monster Unleashed is a fast paced tantalizing read with twists and turns. Although primarily focused on Krista, all other beloved characters are not left out and are addressed with care. With that being said, DIMU gets 4.5 monstrous stars for Krista’s acting out and everyone after her.

This books picks up where Dark Indescretions left off. Krista being a b**** and not giving a damn about her mates as long as she gets what she wants.... to kill. Of course this is due to her being a Mystic and murder is in their blood.... but her mother Jenny spent centuries trying to keep her daughter from being that way and her sick Uncle/baby daddy ruined her in just a few days time. Jenny is made to choose between her daughter and her unborn child.... who do you fight for? Krista's father is visiting her from hell trying to push forth the prophecy that was foretold a thousand or more years ago about Krista.... can the oracles stop it? We're left hanging on the ending so we'll need to read book 3 to get the final outcome, and if you don't read Dark Indescretions you might be a little lost on this one.

Now for my review: I gave it 3.5 stars because I like the story and found it fast paced and exciting, but there are some problems with it. The characters are still a little rough and not fully developed, but improving as the series goes on. A little bit of misuse of words and typos but not to an extreme that you can not enjoy the story. I'd love to see the characters go deeper than the surface and have more emotions than just anger and hostility towards one another, although a lot of the story requires it due to situations. And I'm hoping to get more involved with the Oracles in a future story, and even deeper into the Mystics past history.

18+ due to language and sexual situations.

To be, or not to be a monster...This picks up right where the first left off. Krista has gone insane and her mother, Jenny feels like she has failed her daughter. James, Krista's father, just won't stay dead and has still managed to manipulate the living and has promised to wreak havoc if Krista doesn't help him. Krista is abusing her power and taking her mates for a ride while Jenny is an emotional wreck and her mates feel helpless to try and help her. The Mooyers are investigating some murders that call for additional investigation and brings them closer to the monsters they are trying to destroy with a crazy twist of events.

"Other people’s problems always had a way of intruding on people’s happiness, no matter how much you tried to keep your distance."

"Her first-born had taken a wrong turn into destruction village and stopped on bat-shit crazy avenue. They needed a game plan."

"Energies were shifting and changing. Everything was of importance now. Every word, every decision having the potential to destroy everything they knew, everything they cared about and held dear."

This is a fast paced, crazy train of a ride! There is never a dull moment with this series and it is told from everyone's perspective. You won't miss a moment of what is going on. Monster Unleashed is a must read!

*****SPOILER ALERT *******

With an exciting tale like this one, what's not to love. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat, wondering what's gonna happen next. When Krista is contacted by her father from Hell, she gathers the ingredients needed to bring him back. As her dark side comes out even more, she even goes as far as threatening her mother and her unborn siblings life. This is one you must read.

Here is my favorite quote in this book -

"She had an unborn child's future to protect. Krista was no longer a child and Jenny realized she needed to stop treating her as such. She had let her get away with too much over the years and the shit stopped now. It was never to late to smack your children down a peg or two. It kept them grounded."

This book deserves more than 5 stars!!! I picked it up and did not want it to end!!! Shakuita Johnson has created a world within her Dark Indiscretions world that I do not want to leave!!! I CANNOT wait to get into Seer Destined (the next book in the series.)

The title did not lie ;-) James released a monster in Krista Bell that, I don't think, anyone was prepared for. She is cruel, unfeeling, and malicious!! She not only broke the heart of her mother, but those of her mates as well. Shakuita Johnson has created one hell of a character in Krista Bell!!

I highly recommend this book!!! I cannot shout it loud enough that you need to pick up not only this book but the entire series!!!

First of all Shakuita Johnson is am amazing author with so much talent! If you have heard of her, you are really missing out! She know how to give her readers a twist in her books! You go in thinking it's only one type of book, and come out realizing you were completely off in your thoughts of what you had originally started thinking. This is a series, so it's recommended that you read this one first before moving on to the next one. I won't do spoilers so I will leave you wandering....

Def picks up right after book one. Krista has gone mad, because of the torture she had to endure at the hands of her own father. She had met her mates Taser and Nathan just before she is abducted and now she might be lost to them forever. When they do find her again, she def isn't the woman that her mother tried to make her. Instead she has become evil, like all the other Mystics are known for. The end is def a shocker, because of what is to come in the next book. Can't wait!

Dark Indescretions isn't your typical book by a long shot. It's well written, gritty with some hard subjects in it. The characters are real, touch and hard core bad asses. Not for the faint ready. If you want something different, this series is for you.

Dark, Sexy, Irreverent and FUN!

This series is a fun read, containing a fresh take on the world of supernatural beings. Although it contains some dark themes, it is also full of humour, feisty females, alpha males and characters whom the reader grows to love despite their many flaws. Due to the inclusion of some hot love making, including m/m and m/f/m scenes, the book is very much AN ADULT READ.

MONSTER UNLEASHED continues where the previous book finished. Krista, a vampyra shapeshifting witch, has succumbed to her true nature as a sadistic killer, after the torture she received at the hands of James, her father. There is nothing her mother Jennifer can do to either stop her killing spree, centuries of having taught her daughter to reign in her natural tendencies amounting to naught. An ancient prophecy, at which Krista appears to be at the heart, is also invoked and propels the plot towards what threatens to be a devastating conclusion.

I liked how the author depicts Krista as a truly a terrifying monster, as she descends ever deeper into megalomania and sadism. Woe betide anyone who gets in her way and that includes her pregnant mother and her own mates Taser and Nathan. Whilst her mates and her mother struggle to adapt to her move to the dark side, I began to feel sympathy for Krista as she does not seem in control of her own fate. After initially rejecting her mates, Krista strives to include them in her plans. Taser seems easier to manipulate than Nathan, but both are torn between acknowledging that Krista is an evil that needs to be destroyed and protecting what is theirs. There is once again some scorching sex in this novel, where the mates get it together, in some graphic m/m and m/f/m scenes. The emphasis is very much on the strength of the mate bond rather than romantic attachment between the trio.

Jennifer, Krista’s mother, is faced with yet another blast from her past in this novel, which I found to be an intiquing and pivotal twist. Other characters whom we have encountered in the previous novel also play their part in the ensuing mayhem. These include the other Mystics and shapeshifters, including Jennifer’s mates Jackson and Taylor, the Oracle and the Mooyers. I was intrigued by the characters of the Mooyer Alexander and his human partner Isobelle in the first novel and I am pleased to say that we find out more about their role in this instalment. There is also much violence, danger, suspense and scenes of spell casting and magic. As the book reaches it’s conclusion we are left with some startling revelations, which I did not see coming and which leaves the door open for another thrilling instalment.

MONSTER UNLEASHED is above all a fun and sexy read, which immersed me into the minds of the monsters! I recommend it, and the previous novel, DARK INDISCRETIONS to readers of Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance. A copy of the novel was given to me by the author for the purpose of a fair and honest review.

In Dark Indiscretions we meet Jenny who is a Mystic, a race that is both vampire and shapeshifting witch. They have no remorse, are bloodthirsty and more than fanatical about keeping their race pure. But Jenny’s family trumps them all with their vileness, Jenny decides she wants nothing to do with them and breaks away. Determined to search for her mate, her Nihiya. But that doesn’t go exactly as planned.

Decades later she has a job, a daughter and eventually she does find her one, only to discover her one is actually two people. Two men who are already mated to each other and they aren’t so sure if they want to add a third to that party. Especially one of her race and….. she’s a woman. What are they to do with a woman?!

But that’s not the only problem Jenny has to face, she also has a stalker lurking around. A very dangerous one.

Jenny’s daughter, Krista is together with her mates already an active factor in Dark Indiscretions but their story continues in Monster Unleashed. Where Krista is losing the battle against the monster inside of her. And as a result of that losing battle she runs from her mates. If they want to safe her, they will have to act fast but with care or they’ll lose Krista forever.

This series has an interesting concept and gives an unique twist to the well known vampires. The author has made them crazier, more unstable and more deadlier because they simply can’t tame the monster that’s lurking inside. Though it’s promising I can’t find myself able to connect with the characters. They are too cheery for my taste, too loud. Dare I say juvenile? No I don’t dislike them but neither do I like them, I am just indifferent I guess.

Now I do feel sorry for Jennifer and Krista. For what they are and for who their family is. Sometimes it really does suck you can’t pick your own family members. Also their mates have to go through a lot and at times it will make you wonder if it isn’t in their best interest to just walk away.

The pace in this book is remotely fast and in my opinion it takes away the chance for the characters to develop themselves into a lot that I might have been able to connect with. Also the swearing bothers me, I am used to dirty mouths, to swearing but it just didn’t work for me here. The cuss words were casually thrown into sentences but lacked the bite or playfulness that usually comes with them. It does have a lot of blunt dirty sex, be prepared for M/M and M/M/F scenes. These makes up for some but overall looking this series is just not for me.

Following 9 months after Dark Indiscretions, this is Krista's story. Jennifer's daughter has returned from her father and his abuse, changed. Her monster is out and she has no intention of shutting it away again. Taz and Nathan are left behind while she goes off and hunts, but they are both struggling. Krista returns and kidnaps Taz, keeping him in his wolf form to do her bidding. After her father contacts her from beyond, she needs Nathan too, and goes back, but not before she returns Taz his free will, and he lets rip! Neither mate is happy, well actually NO ONE in this book has anything to be happy about!!

Jennifer is pregnant and when Krista threatens both her, and the unborn, Jackson and Taylor are gunning for Krista's blood. Jennifer is also, she makes the decision that Krista is no longer her daughter and (straight from the book) needs to be put down. But something is going on with Jackson and Taylor, although this is not made clear, and I suspect will come out in another book.

Krista's father is returned from beyond, and gets a little bit of a shock! Someone from Jennifer's past also returns, but not from beyond.

I found this book less rushed than the first one, although it does move at a fast pace, and had I been able to stay awake, I would I finished it on 2 hours yesterday. kept me age turning, I tell ya!! I also enjoyed it more than Dark Indiscretions. M/M and M/F/M scenes, although less than in book one. again, these characters are deadly and make no apologises for that, and I am beginning to see another side to them, not just the one they portray on the page. maybe its because ive read the two books close together, I dunno, but I am beginning to understand these dark and deadly creatures, and why they are as they are. it wasn't something that came across in book one! i'll be looking out for the next in this series, soon I hope, since I want to know whats going on with Jackson and Taylor, and whether Krista will reign her monster in, if she chooses, AND what is James going to do with his shock!! (whatever it is, James wont be nice about it!)

Everything about the first book that left me disappointed was not an issue in the sequel. This review may contain spoilers for book 1, so if you have not read it yet, I suggest that you stop reading now.

In Monsters Unleashed, the character development was very satisfactory. I truly felt connected to the characters and not like they were caricatures of people. The Dylia (think Twilight style werewolves that can control when they shift) came off seeming like overly protective dogs, I could picture Kiateya, the Hyjia alpha (cat shifters. In my mind they look a lot like Thundercats now, I didn't have a very clear picture of what they looked like after reading the first book), and we were treated to background information about Jennifer the unusual Mystic that makes her relateable. Krista is just a bitch, like most Mystics.

Unlike the first book, this book did not feel rushed. I was treated to a wonderfully slow build up of suspense that had me figuratively on the edge of my seat and kept me reading wondering what would happen next, and while some of the major events went incredibly smoothly, it makes sense considering the powers of the characters involved. Even though I hate the way the author ended this book personally, it was well done.

I detracted one star from my rating due to several spelling or grammar errors. The book is not just riddled with them making it impossible to get into the story, but there are enough of them that it was a slight issue for me.

I would recommend this book to any paranormal fan, and definitely look forward to reading more books in this series.

Monster Unleashed is the solidly written sequel to Dark Indiscretions. Like the first novel, it is dialogue heavy, action packed, and contains one seriously hot sex scene. The focus of this installment is Krista and how she deals with the torture that was inflicted upon her by her father and her relationship with her two mates.

As the title suggests, Krista is not dealing well with her father's torture and she is becoming the monster that Mystics are known to be. She has no regard for others and is cruel to those in her life, including her mother and her mates. She begins killing for the pleasure of it, completely disregarding 400 years of her mother's teaching.

Personally I didn't like the storyline but that was because I didn't like to see the changes in Krista and how she treated everyone. Nor did I like the way the Jenny kept reacting to Krista's behaviors – she was not the same strong woman we met in Dark Indiscretions. That said, Krista's character development is in line with the Mystic race and Jenny is reacting as one would expect a pregnant mother to respond, which is what makes Monster Unleashed a solid sequel. Fortunately Ms. Johnson introduced new elements to the storyline and I'm looking forward to reading the next installment in the series.

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

This book continues to tell the story of what happened after they got Kristen back from her father. Kristen is shutting everyone out even her mates. Jennifer is worried about her. Jennifer’s mates understand that she is worried about her daughter but she is an adult and she is pregnant with their baby. Kristen’s mates are at the end of their rope they understand that she has been through a lot but they want to help her through it. Kristen was tortured by her father. It only took a couple days to undo everything her mother had taught her, her whole life. Kristen feels like she has been forced to hide who she really is her whole life. She isn’t going to do that anymore. She leaves her mates and out to do whatever she wants regardless of what anyone else thinks or feels. Her mates can feel everything she is feeling and she can feel whatever they are feeling. They are frustrated by how much she likes killing. She is contacted by her father in hell and he wants her to undo the spell her mother did. Now what will she do. Will she do her father’s bidding or will she ignore him and do as she wishes? How will her mates fare in her absence? I liked this book a little more than the first. I really like Kristen’s character. It seems that even in hell James won’t be stopped. I am excited to read the prequel when it comes out. I like how they tell more of the oracles story in this book as well.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book starts up exactly where the first ended. What could have been a long and tiring novel, is cleverly divided into two separate books. This I liked.

After book one, the second book was easier to understand. It still left me confused most of the time and I had to refer back to book one's reference guide to distinguish terms often.
As with the first book, the sex is rough and driven by lust rather than love.

Krista struggles to cope with the torture that her father put her through. Mentally and emotionally she is falling apart right under everyone's noses. She finally cracks and gives into her true nature as a Mystic which is inherently evil and prone to killing. She leaves her mates behind and eventually decides that she wants them by her side. She casts a spell to unleash the beast within one of them. He now obeys her every command. They go back to get the other mate later to help them resurrect daddy from the dead once again.

Monster Unleashed is a great description of Krista in this book and one cannot help but pitty her for becoming what she fought so hard not to become. The book ends on a high.

If strange paranormal is your thing I am sure you will love this series.

After been tortured by her father, Krista has made it her mission to be free and embrace her Mystic ways which involves killing innocents and creating chaos. Jenny, Krista's mum is 9 months into her pregnancy and knows that the only way to stop her daughter is to kill her. Things go bad to worse as Krista's father contacts her from Hell and tells her a way to resurrect him and of course she agrees to do it. Sometimes there is too much going on that i get lost and confused as to what i'm reading. There are so many species of super naturals that i did find it hard to keep up with the story. Towards the middle of the book, i had more of an understanding of the storyline and begun to enjoy it more. All the characters are really easy to love part from James, Krista's father! I did manage to read this book in a day but i would have loved it to be a bit longer and maybe a bit more simpler to follow but the amount of things happening is great to read and i love reading the POV of many of the characters.

*****Loved this story from start to finish*****
I love the way that Shakuita comes up with these stories. Monsters Unleashed was Funny, Dark, and so hotttt! Seriously the way she writes M/M, M/F/M scenes is so delicious. There is a lot going on, but everything ties together as you go on.
Synopsis:

No one will stop her from keeping her Mystic side under control. Not her mates, and definitely not her mother. She is done...she is out to kill and no one is going to stop her.
James needs help to get out of hell this time around. He needs the help of his daughter Krista. She wants nothing to do with her a**hole of a father. He knows just how to get her to help him. He lets her in on the secret of the THE PROPHECY....now that has go Krista's attention. Will Krista help her father?
I am so excited for the next book to be released. This whole series has got me hooked.

Krista survived her father, but it changed her. Now she's ready to be free to have fun without all the stuffy rules her mom laid out for her centuries ago. Jennifer is living her own life with her mates and enjoying unexpected but happy news when she learns of her daughters choice to abandon her mates. Things only go downhill from there when Krista turns up and goes on a rampage hurting all those closest to her.

Krista had something horrible done to her and it messed her up now she struggling to figure out who she is and what she really wants out of life now. Taser is an Alpha male doing his best with the the crazy turn of his life where his mates are of two different species from his own and the wolves of his pack are having a hard time adjusting. Nathan is a strong male doing everything he can to make his mates happy but sometimes he knows he just has to take total control to take care of them.

This one expands on the story from Book one while growing in ways you never expected and showing you more of another couple introduced in the series.

The author gave this book to a few people, including myself, for free in exchange for an honest review - without spoilers.
Now that the full disclosure has been given, off to the review.
This book has literally NO FLUFF just like the first book, however the characters have been developed further since book 1. This book leaves off where the last book ended. It again, moves very fast. I completed the book in a few hours. It is a quick, easy read, however I am curious as to how the next book will be, because the ending in this book did not feel complete. This book ties in the characters that were introduced in the first book and developed better, giving the reader a better understanding of why they were introduced earlier. I did enjoy this book better than the first because it gave the reader a better picture of the story instead of just an introduction to the characters with a small quick plot.

Omg! This book is ahhhhmazing! At the end of this book I was yelling Noooo! Miss Johnson I NEED more!!!
This book picks up where Dark Indiscretions leaves off. We find out more of Jenny's past and her mates are trying to help her get through the ultimate betrayal by her daughter Krista.
Krista is off the hook in this book. In her defense, she was the one tortured by her sadistic father. However, now the girl is bat a** crazy. Even going so far as going against her mates and threatening her mother. Eventually she realizes she needs her mates and gives them a choice to join her. Can she be redeemed?
And James...well James is his normal sadistic self. Their are alot of familiar faces in this one, Kain, The Oracle, Nathan, Alexander, and Isobelle. And the ending is going to throw everyone of them for a loop! (I know it did me!)
A must read for any paranormal enthusiast!

This book had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. Krista has become ruthless after the torture she endured from her father. She decides that she can no longer stay with her mates and leaves them devastated. At the same time her mother is pregnant with her second child and trying to find a way to make Krista ok again, but Krista isn't having it she has a plan to get her father out of help and nothing and no one will stop her she even threatens her mates and mother and taking one of her mates free will. Jenny realizes that there is nothing more she can do for her daughter and decides its time to put a stop to her which crushes her.Along the way we find out more about Jenny's past and find out more about the prophecy. I was totally surprised by the ending and can't wait to find out what happens next.

After reading book 1, I thought I knew what to expect with this book. I knew that it would be choppy, quick moving and without time to fully appreciate the depth of the storyline. I know this style of writing suits some people but after going through two books of it, it is enough for me.

This book is full of dialogue and action, both between the sheets and out. Some react to situations in the way you would expect whilst others throw a curve ball at you.

My problem with the book (and it is MY problem, you may not find the same) is that I just don't connect with the characters and therefore I don't care. You may read this book and absolutely love it like so many others have before me. Don't take my word for it, try it yourself. As for me, I'm calling it quits. I won't be reading any further in this series.

I reviewed this book for the blog Just Another Girl and Her Books.

Krista has gone bat shit crazy as result from how her father, James, tortured her in the first book. This book starts basically where the first one left off at. Krista is letting the crazy, in-bred, Mystic come out. The monster that her mother, Jennifer, has had caged up all these centuries.

There is a "prophecy". It is starting to come true, now that Krista is off killing innocent people for the fun of it, she specially has a thing for virgin blood. Will she be able to bring James back from Hell? Will she stop herself from being this way, or with her mom and her mom's mates kill her?

This does end in a cliff hanger, I will be reading the next one when it comes out.

Once again, Shakuita Johnson has written another great paranormal/romance novel! Please note, due to the M/M and M/F/M scenes, it should only be for those 18+.

Jump right in to this novel where Dark Indiscretions left off. With a little more focus on Krista, Jennifer's daughter and her antics, you find her a bit out of control. Again, Ms. Johnson has created some wonderful characters and I love the interaction within her characters. As with Dark Indiscretions, there are cliffhangers, so if you are an impatient reader, wait for the next one to read them all in order. Personally, I love the cliffhanger and makes me even more excited to read the next one.

Anxiously waiting....

This book begins where the 1st one left off. Krista is so cray from the way her father treated her. She is letting herself all out to torture people. She is doing things she shouldnt. Will she be able to stop??? Really a freaking cliff hanger lol, now to wait on the next book. :)
