Holly Bloom has a degree in English Literature, but don't let that fool you... she would pick a steamy romance over a Shakespeare play any day!

Holly writes contemporary romance - the dark, gritty and twisty kind. She loves creating badass babe characters, who aren't afraid to speak their minds, and writing about the men who can handle them - often, there is more than one! Why choose, right?

The ending was really underwhelming. The epilogue was only a few months ahead, so there wasn’t much progress or closure.

Ivy and the men barely had an emotional connection. Aside from Bram, there was hardly any real talk about feelings. It was mostly physical. I kept waiting for more lengthy one-on-one conversations to deepen their relationships, but they never really happened. Ivy barely knows Seb or Callen by the end. Seb got snubbed, and Callen just enjoyed fucking her rather than actually loving her. Out of all the guys, we only get one genuine love confession (from Bram) and one unrequited one (from Freddie). And while Freddie was a dick and needed to grovel, the story still should have included a reconciliation scene to bring the two back together. I wanted to see the sweet Freddie we saw in book two.

Some twists were also way too predictable. I figured out Ivy’s sister was alive the moment the Lotus tried to kill Callen. The floral name was way too obvious. It was also clear Daisy had a baby with Spencer, when she suddenly started running to his house.

But the part that really ruined it for me was Daisy’s reunion with Ivy. After five years of Ivy believing she was dead, Daisy shows up completely cold and callous - not even a hug. Yes, she had her reasons, but they didn’t feel nearly strong enough to justify that reaction. Ivy literally dedicated her entire life to avenging her, while Daisy was off playing happy family. Child or not, was she really not going to demand retribution for what was done to her sister? It just didn’t sit right with me.

This series reminded me a lot of Dirty Broken Savages by Eva Ashwood, except, that series does it so much better imo.

What a way to end!
Well after the ultimate cliffhanger in the penultimate book this one picks right back up with a bang 😳😳 finding she’s been betrayed by the Dukes and then lied to for the past five years by the Killers Club Ivy reaches her breaking point! It doesn’t help that the trust she was slowly regaining has been obliterated and who knows who is friend and who is foe 😖 there’s a lot of gravelling and big gestures in this one from her men (as there should be) apart from her silent protector 🥰 and Ivy begins to find a peace within herself and those around her! 😀 you do get a final showdown which makes sense as everything is revealed although that’s not plain sailing and Ivy could have her happy ending stripped away right in front of her 😮 the only thing was after that it all felt very quick and I would have liked just a little more insight into their life after it all - purely because we’ve seen the turmoil for these guys over five books I need to see more of their HEA 😅 but that’s just me and my thoughts! It was a good final book on that it tied everything up with no lingering questions and wrongs being righted with a good mix of drama action and ‘fun times’ 🔥

What a disappointing ending...

This series has been such a fun read. I liked all the characters and their development until this very last book. The story line also always had me on edge just for it to end on a flop.

So throughout the series we get to follow four hunky men pining over one deadly woman, Ivy. There's anger and betrayal between everyone which adds to each ones character development. These characters aren't my problem.

The other characters are...
!Spoiler Alert!
In this book we get a confirmation that the mysterious lotus killer is Ivy's 'dead' sister, Daisy. Who apparently isn't dead, something I suspected in the previous book. Loved this idea and was excited to see if I was correct and how it would play out. So in this book we get to find out Daisy was saved by the same killed club as Ivy but they were kept separate so that their killing was fueled by revenge. Still very okay with this. But then they meet. Neither of them knowing their sister is alive. Ivy is the one with the normal reaction here. After the initial shock she's determined that they can help each other out and become sisters again. Ivy's sister Daisy however... Is barely chocked and absolutely cold to meeting her sister she thought was dead for 5 years. She missed her so much she even named her daughter after her. Yes you heard me. Daisy has a daughter as a result of the rape that lead to her 'killing' five years earlier. So clearly she has love for her sister. But instead of being happy of seeing her alive she calls her selfish and says she's always been selfish. And ends on a note of saying she never wants to see her again and doesn't want her to be a part of their life.

Ivy is heart broken but still tries to explain to her sister that she can help with whatever's going on. But Daisy refuses, leaves, only to turn around a few days after and ask for her help. The reason Daisy wanted Ivy to leave her alone was to save her baby daddy, aka her rapist. Since Ivy wants to kill him as her final revenge plot that she's been planning for 5 years. Daisy claims Ivy can't kill him since her daughter's his only heir and will then inherit all his money... Daisy doesn't care about the money but the leader of the killer club wants the money. So Daisy allows her rapist to see their daughter to please the head of the killer club, who hid rhw fact that your sister was alive all these years. Makes perfect sense, right? Daisy defends her leaving her daughter with a rapist saying "she's never with him alone" and "we've installed cameras to make sure he doesn't hurt her" etc. Like that makes it okay??? Not to mention the rapist used to date Ivy and abused her during that time, something Daisy is well aware of. And you leave your daughter with him, because your boss wants to get the money?? No. Absolutely not. I don't believe that for a second. And then you keep protecting your rapist even when you find out your boss has lied to you? And you hurt your sister at the same time to protect your rapist, to protect your boss?? Even if your boss saved you 5 years ago and took care of you after like a father would, it doesn't give you enough motivation to stab your sister in her heart and walk away from her?

Then she wants Ivy's help to kill this Boss because he's gotten 'out of hand'. Ivy of course helps her cause she actually sees the killer club for what they are. Abusive manipulators. They succeed, ish and then they live happily ever after.

No seriously, all that and then in the end they're barbequing in the backyard like a happy family.

The spicy scenes were good though, very few but very good so still enjoyable.

What an ending. One final twist. I enjoyed this ride of a series. I ate all 5 up in 3 days! It felt like a take on mafia/secret societies. I was here for it. I'm also a sucker for a good revenge series. Ivy, you are one of a kind, and your dukes know it!

This series started off well but went downhill really quickly.😪I feel like there’s no genuine connection between her and Callen besides the sexual tension, and she and Freddie never got to reconcile. We didn’t get to see his sweet side towards her after book 2, and she still doesn’t know Seb. Bram is the only genuine person she has a real connection with. I also feel like this book could’ve been longer, especially the epilogue, and shown how they could have reconciled with each other. Ivy’s purpose with her sister felt like a waste since she dedicated her whole life to revenge while Daisy was alive the entire time. I didn’t like how cold they were to each other either, especially after everything they went through. Overall, the conclusion felt underwhelming, and I wish we’d gotten more of a HEA rather than just a HFN.

Safety info:

Callen: Callen was previously married out of convenience to another woman named Margot. They had a daughter, Tilly, who was killed in a car accident, and their marriage fell apart afterward. They never loved each other. In book three, chapter ten, he went to a club where he’s a regular and used to sleep with the strippers. He went there trying to forget about Ivy and ended up getting a lap dance, but it’s clear his dick doesn’t work for anyone else but her. He left the club after that. I was close to DNF’ing at that point, but thankfully he didn’t actually do anything — though he did have the intention of forgetting about her with another woman…Technically, they hated each other at that point and weren’t in a relationship, but it still left a sour taste in my mouth.🤢

Seb: He used to have a lot of hookups in hotels, but he stopped and had been celibate for some time before meeting Ivy. Throughout the series, his mom kept trying to set him up with other women for marriage, but he never wavered. They didn’t cause any real drama, just pain for Seb because he didn’t want to be away from Ivy.

Bram: There isn’t much info on him besides the fact that he hadn’t been with a woman in a long time before meeting Ivy.

Freddie: He’s been celibate ever since he laid eyes on her and never moved on, even though he thought she was dead. He visited her grave every month and was convinced Ivy was the one for him despite believing she was gone.

All of them are celibate, but there’s no clear mention of how long, except for Freddie, who’s been celibate for more than five years.

I knew going into Deadly Devotion that it would be an absolutely wild finale to the series. Ivy has been thrown for a loop with the number of revelations she's gone through and doesn't know who to trust. I love that there is groveling and delicious spice which leads to building intense, lasting relationships with her men. The storyline has been so well developed from book one so of course there had to be a final twist that had my heart racing with excitement (and maybe a little anxiety. This series has kept me on my toes, eager for each new book and whatever plot twist Bloom would throw at us. Deadly Devotion gave Ivy the HEA with her Dukes that I've been rooting for since book one. I only wish there was more!

This was the fifth and final installment of the Deadliest Love series and it was such a wild ride. The last book leave us off on such a shocking revelation and this book picks right up where it left off. Poor Ivy doesn't know who to trust and seams like all sides are out to hurt or harm her.
Bram is truly a sweetheart and Ivy's rock in this book. The other do their groveling for their mistakes, but in the end with shocking turns of events and twists, we get all the answers and conclusion we're looking for.
I was a bit disappointed in parts of the ending. One being that Spencer has been Ivy's endgame throughout the whole series for all he's done in the past and I didn't feel like he got what was coming to him and for Ivy to drop it and leave it after that's what she's been building up for.
Second, I really wish we could've gotten more insight into Ivy's life with the guys more after everything went down. So much of the book was built around her past, it would've been refreshing to see what route she takes with life. Overall it was a great book and amazing series!

Deadly Devotion is the 5th & final book in The Deadliest Love series. So much was packed into it and it made it hard to write this review that wouldn't let out any spoilers but all Ill just say that all of the loose ends were tied up spectacularly. With some killer plot twists, underhand people, secrets and lies all coming to light that caused my jaw to hit the floor for the majority of this book!! It was so bloody good and a cracking conclusion. Loved It.

okay now that I finished the series, I can finally write what I thought overall…

The series lacked in so many aspects🫢

Most importantly where’s the romance? they only had a physical connection🫢 Callen didn’t even like her if I’m being honest, like their dynamic was different of course (they mostly fought/ couldn’t stand each other) but still…

The series was 5 books long with each book being 200 something pages (5 x 200 = 1,000 something)

Tell me how I felt like the story gave me NOTHING, it was fine at the beginning but moving to book 3 I was already like umm…….. I didn’t DNF because I honestly wanted to see what would happen but at that point I was checked out that I didn’t care.

Im happy and sad about this book 😭😭😭 sad bc I didn't want it to end. I've enjoyed every single book from this series and now that its over I don't know what to do with myself. Super happy bc my girl finally got her happy ending. She's been through it and goes through even more in every single book so seeing her finally happy and getting everything she wished for was everything.

Ivy is resilient af. I don't know how she's still able to function after everything she's gone through. I admire her a lot and wish I could be like her without the unaliving part 😭. She's fierce and didn't take crap from anyone.

The guys definitely stepped up in this one. My favorite one is still and will always be Bram. They all have such completely different personalities that I don't understand how she fell for all four of them. But as you continue to read its obvious how much chemistry she has with them. Not only that but she was basically what they were missing to complete them. She had every single one of them wrapped around her fingers and I loveee that.

A lot of stuff happened in this like A LOT. Im still reeling from it all. I had no clue how the author was going to end the book and let me just say it doesn't matter what I guesses was going to happen, I was nowhere near close to guessing what actually happened. A lot of twist and turns in this one that kept me hooked and wanting more.

I love everything this author writes and this will always be a series ill recommend to anyone that wants to read a book with a bad@$$ heroine, blood, action, betrayal, love and a lot of twist and turns.

Deadly Devotion (Deadliest Love Book 5) https://amzn.eu/d/06QCKMsw

✨The Review:

Dead Devotion is the fifth and final book in the Deadliest Love series by Holly Bloom. This is a dark why choose romance full of sexy men, a sassy assassin fmc, action and spicy.

I loved this series from the first page and binged it in a few days. After meeting Holly at a book signing event she sold me on this series and continues to. I honestly love the way she develops not only the characters but the story as well.

The relationships between all the characters, especially between Ivy and her men is both intense and hot as hell. I still adore Bram and Seb the most 😍 There is something about them that just makes me swoon. I also loved seeing the softer side of Callan and the grovelling of Freddie!

I was so lucky to receive this ARC and binging it in less than a day just makes me want to re-read the whole series again. I really hope that this isn't the end for this world but honestly such a great ending!

This book is out the 9th of July so go pre-order or put the date in your calendar cause you wont want to miss this!!

What an ending! After four books of build up this really moved at a clip as the Dukes and the Killer's Club head towards their end game. I have loved Ivy's journey and her development across the series from cold stone assassin whose single goal in life was to avenge her sister to someone who has opened her heart to a future beyond revenge.

I loved the action in this and it is really hard to talk about with no spoilers! There are some genuine surprises, new characters and jaw dropping twists. The only reason this is not a five star for me was the pacing was almost too quick and I felt there were some key emotional moments which happened off page that would have balanced it out a little (a couple are referenced in the prologue). The focus was very much on the resolution of the series which was fine but I did feel like Seb was still due a wooing from the previous book and I really wanted to revisit Freddie after that night before chat with Ivy. These are definitely nice to haves though and I still loved every minute!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

This series was so amazing! The plots, the secrets, the twists and turns. Not to mention the love, that was sometimes hate, between Ivy and her guys, and all the spice!

𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬; 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬.

Deadly Devotion picks up right where Deadly Passion left off. Ivy’s life has basically been blown up, from some of her men betraying her, to finding out the person she loved the most in the world is actually still alive and has a huge bombshell of a secret. Bram is still on her good side, but Seb, Freddie, and Callen have some making up to do, Seb not so much as the other two though. Not only that, but Ivy’s whole revenge plot has come to an abrupt halt. There is also the fact that the group of assassins she used to work for knew everything all along, and Ivy was just a puppet in their games. But her former bestie, Stephanie, wants to make a change and take over the group, with the help of Ivy and the Dukes.

I found myself laughing, crying, and wanting to throw my Kindle multiple times while reading. I had a love-hate relationship with Callen throughout the series, but I really loved him in this one, especially when he basically went into fun uncle mode a few times. Ivy, through all the ups and downs, is still a badass who doesn’t take crap from anyone, especially the men she loves. I loved getting to meet new characters, and see relationships develop. If you’re a fan of dark, why choose romance, second chances, found family, four possessive MMCs, and lots of groveling, then check out the Deadliest Love series!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I do not want to spoil anything for these books because of the twists and turns within every book. I genuinely love these books and had such a fun time reading them. I did not see a single twist coming until it hit me in the face. I love how messy this series is and how the characters work together. You would never expect them to mesh so well, but it is all genuinely perfect. I could never pick a favorite character out of this series because so many details about them make them perfect. I love how Ivy’s thought process changes throughout the series and how her opinions grow and change. It makes her so much more of a great character because she can say she was wrong. I also love the men. I love how they all develop. I could make a 10-page list of everything I love in each character. I just want to hug them all, especially Freddie. The whole series was just five stars. I was obsessed the entire time I read it, and I still am. I would love to see all the characters in a novella, but I am so sad I must leave this world.

Perfect ending

After reading all 5 books in this series, I can honestly say I fell in love with the characters & the overall story. From book 1, I was sucked in. I devoured the Deadliest Love series until the very last word of book 5. Holly Bloom did a wonderful job of writing this chaotic, beautiful, messy, dark, thrilling love story. Many answers came to light in book 5, and although I had several jaw-dropping moments, everything makes sense. I wasn't left with any questions, and I'm very happy with how the series ended.

My only single complaint out of the entire series is that book 4 ends with Seb in a separate location from the others, but then he's with them when book 5 begins. Even though it picks back up right where the previous book was. So that was a little weird for me, through the first few pages. It doesn't at all diminish the story. I still adored this series! It was just one little thing that slightly bugged me.

Holly holy moly what a wild ride. I absolutely love this series so much I cannot believe it’s over. I have ARC read each book in this series and wow book 5 was incredible.

I don’t want to give anything away because this is book 5 is a series but wow. This was an adventure that pulls you in and you don’t want to get off until it’s over. I love everything about this series the twists and turns, the secrets, and the fight for their relationship. Ivy has to work for her happily ever after. Freddie, Seb, Callen and Bram fiercely protect Ivy but also go through their own battles and have their own traumas. I absolutely loved the development of each of the MMCs throughout the series.

I highly highly recommend this series if you love dark romance, a bad ass FMC and 4 possessive, deadly, MMC’s who will do anything for their girl.

I have no clue how this author does it, but being able to write a five book series where the twists and turns keep on coming until the final chapter; it just blows my mind. I swear; looking back on how this series started it’s amazing how many times the whole storyline was thrown upside down and inside out, to ultimately land in this HEA.

Weirdly enough, I’m still not sure how I feel about some of these characters. There were moments I liked them all, and there were moments I really didn’t know what I wanted to happen to them. But what I loved from start to finish, is the mindblowing plot development throughout this series. I’m definitely going to check out more work by this author in the future; this series impressed me and I’m looking forward to reading more.

This is a Rollercoaster of ups and downs mostly down but with hope and finally HEA all around

I enjoyed this whole series. I'm so happy with the twist that her sister was actually alive. And they all became a family. The only thing I would of like to see was more action between all the guys with her since staying together and also Freddie should of became leader again. I'm sorry but Seb shouldn't have become leader. But hey I'm not the author so what she wrote goes. But I feel it should of went back to him afterwards. I was actually shocked at the death of Stephanie tho. Even with everything she did i felt bad at the end. I did love how little Ivy got the crazy Callen to be a softy to her. Over all 4 stars for sure. Was so great.

What. A. Ride.

This book completely wrecked me—in the best way. Deadly Devotion is the perfect finale to a series that had me hooked from the first page. Ivy is such a badass, and watching her navigate the chaos, betrayal, and love in this one? Chef’s kiss. Every chapter had me gasping, yelling, or swooning.

The tension, the drama, the heat 🔥—Holly Bloom really knows how to bring it all. And the guys? Still obsessed. They’re messy, complicated, and somehow exactly what Ivy needs. Their dynamic in this book felt even more raw and real.

Honestly, I didn’t want it to end, but wow—what an ending. If you’ve been following this series, you will NOT be disappointed. And if you haven’t started yet… what are you waiting for?

Solid series but the ending was underwhelming.

1) Daisy reveal was cool but her response to seeing Ivy again was weak
2) You can’t spend 4 books building to the killing of a huge asshole and then in a throwaway line on the last page be like “oh he’s dead and it wasn’t caused by any of the mean people”
3) The relationships were severely under developed. The epilogue could have jumped farther ahead and maybe that would have helped but what’s the deal with Sebs family? Callan and Ivy have not had a single interaction that didn’t even with her saying she hates him. Freddie is giving “shell of former self” but tbh other than his lack of being able to give head, Bram is perfect.

Holly did not disappoint with the conclusion. It was everything I wanted and more!!
There was no shortage of action, a twist, drama, spicy times, and emotional moments as well.
While it has been no easy ride for any of them, I really felt for Ivy in this book.
The lies and betrayal hurt.
However, being the bad*ss that Ivy is, she doesn't give up. Her confidence and strength shine through.

I think this was a fantastic ending for Ivy and her men.
The author tied up all loose ends and gave them a satisfying HEA!!

Amazing

I have been desperate for the conclusion to Ivy’s story and it hasn’t disappointed. Filled with plenty of plot twists, a fierce heroine, drool worthy men and a whole lot of action, it completely enraptures you. Once I began reading, I couldn’t put it down. I love Ivy and her men, Bram has definitely become my favourite. I was so happy that Ivy and her dukes got the happy ending that they deserve. I’m hoping there will be more from this world. Absolutely loved Ivy’s story, it’ll be a favourite of mine always.
Can’t wait to read more from this author.

This is the last book in the series and we pick up from that big, shocking cliff-hanger and wow what a book. I went on a wild ride, getting all my questions answered. I just love how Bram was Ivy’s rock though this story. She especially needs it after finding out everything was a lie and her other guys trying to get back in her good books. There was so much growth and I just love the relationships between old and new characters. I’m sad to see these characters go and would love more. Holly is able to write a plotline that just draws you in from the first book until the last book.

Wow… I finished the first 4 books earlier this year and was so sad when I realised I would have to wait to read this book. Then I ‘attempted’ to read this book but u decided to re-read the first 4 to really remember everything that happened.

The first time reading the first 4 books I didn’t notice things I did this time which only made me more excited for this book. I loved everything about this book and it was a great ending to series.

This series is a 5 star read for me! I will definitely return to this series if I ever get into a reading slump

What a perfect ending for the perfect series, I mean what more can I say I've been hooked since the first book and with each new book released I was like I couldn't be better than the last one and I've been proven wrong every single time. This is undoubtedly one of my faves and hands down one of the best series I've read this year and can't wait to read what Holly writes next.

What to Expect:
• Curvy FMC assassin out for revenge
• Lovers to enemies to lovers and all things in between
• Found family
• Psych0 damaged characters and murd3ry mayhem with dark humour...
• A total MINDFXCK!

And here it is! The stunning conclusion to this amazing series. We are back with Ivy and her Dukes as they fight valiantly against Alaric and the Killers Club.

This action packed, steamy book brings us twist after turn, and just when you think all is right with the world, there’s yet another stunning revelation. I’m honestly kind of sad to be leaving this world. I absolutely loved Ivy, and Sebastian, Freddie, Callen and especially Bram.

Deadly Devotion is the fifth and final book in the Deadliest Love series by Holly Bloom. I was so excited to dive back into this world and this book did not disappoint. This book is action-packed and has several twists that will keep you guessing until the very end. Reading this book was bittersweet because I didn’t want to put it down but I also didn’t want to read too fast and finish the series.

Bloom created an amazing FMC with Ivy. I loved her strength and her commitment to getting the vengeance she deserved. The Dukes are all great but I couldn’t get enough of Bram! I absolutely loved him!

This was a great series that I’m excited to go back and reread. I would recommend this series to everyone so what are you waiting for, dive in now!!!

With the cliffy at the end of the last book, I didn't know what the final book in the series would bring us. What it brought was perfection. I've loved watching Ivy and her men grow throughout the books, and this one, and all the reveals that came in it, made it even better. I've enjoyed everything Holly’s written, and she’s just proved why with this final book. She puts her characters through the ringer, but it's so worth it in the end. An amazing ending to an even more amazing series.
