んんんん、難しい話だよね。よくわからない。あやかしが人間食べている。食べた人間の存在が残っていないその人の記憶は他の人間からも消えている。

が。由も食事する。由は人間。でも人間じゃない。半妖? それに、由中にヨシキっていう人がいる。ヨシキはあやかしだったはず。彼は
椿のお母さんを取った。でみ由が彼に食べた。じゃあ、あやかしはあやかし食べるの?

This is more in-the-middle feeling with no actual story per se and not much contact between the three main characters.

It feels like we’re reached a turning point in the series, where some of the sinister secrets about Yue and the ‘meal’ are being revealed.

Yue himself is reaching a crisis. He’s beginning to change, to question what he wants to do, yet he’s being true to the character he’s becoming.

If you’ve enjoyed the previous volumes in Of the Red, the Light, and the Ayakashi, don’t miss this one. It’s got all the beautiful menace and mystery of Books 1, 2, and 3, along with some of the answers.

The story continues to be okay, and I still quite like the characters and graphics, I think at this point I just want to know where this story is going to go.
I still find the number of characters a little confusing and it was strange that the story in this book continued after the page that said "continued in volume 5".
I do not read the bonus material anymore, it just doesn't not interest me, I feel they don't add enough to the story to be worth reading.

We learn more about Yue, but these revelations raise more questions than answers. Still wondering what will happen next. How will Yue react when he has to choose between protecting his friends and making one of them his next meal?
