Rate this book
Join Demi, Skia, Missy, and Agatha on a whole new adventure! Ags has the honor of officiating her cousin's wedding, so the crew rents a car and begins an epic road trip east.

However, dark forces are growing, and when they catch sight of Skia at a stop in Salem MA, the adventure becomes a race to rescue the little demon.

With help from their Wiccan friend, a far-too-intelligent-cat, and their own drive to keep their family safe, Demi might be able to get Skia back - before the wedding.

“One Hell of a Road Trip” by C.H. Lyn, the second installment in the Spooky Cat Stories series, was a thrilling continuation that I thoroughly enjoyed. This book had everything I admired from the first one: darkness, mystery, and, of course, the unforgettable spooky cat. The story kept me hooked with its intriguing plot and well-paced suspense. The road trip setting added a unique twist, making the journey feel adventurous and eerie. The characters were well-developed, and the spooky cat remained a standout presence, adding depth and charm to the narrative.

One of the best aspects of this book was its ability to keep me guessing. The mystery elements were well-crafted, and the dark atmosphere was consistently engaging. I wanted more as I turned each page, eager to see what would happen next. However, the book left me craving even more. I want another part of the series to discover what happens next. The ending was satisfying but left enough unanswered questions to keep me eagerly anticipating the next installment. Overall, “One Hell of a Road Trip” was a great addition to the Spooky Cat Stories series. This book is a must-read if you're a fan of dark, mysterious tales with a touch of feline charm. I can't wait to see where the series goes next!

What’s the best way to write a sequel to Spooky Cat? Send the Spooky Cat crew on a road trip! Yes, that is what C.H. Lyn does in her second novel of the series, and it doesn’t disappoint. A grand adventure with a bit of suspense thrown in to keep you on your toes. An awesome addition to the Spooky Cat universe.

It is great to be back with Demi, Skip, Missy, and Agnes.
.
These stories are short and sweet, yet packed with friendship, fun, and adventure.
.
What would you do if your demon friend was demon napped.
.
Agnes is off to a wedding which naturally calls for the 4 friends to go on a road trip. With a quick stop on Salem where things take a turn for the worst.
.
Fantastic read, highly recommend

Very good addition to the series
Missy, a cat; Agatha, a Wiccan; Skia, a small demon; and Demi set off for a road trip to officiate at a wedding on the East Coast not too far from Salem. They encounter some problems in Salem which could cause damage to the world. Very short, but definitely entertaining. Give it a try.

3/5

Another quick cute novella. This one circles around Demi trying to save Skia from women witches who want to steal the demons powers.

There’s not a lot of depth to these books. They are cute little reads you can get through in one sitting.

A fun found family adventure! These friendships are so beautiful. The stress about each others’ safety and the love between them was so profound! I’m glad the author included a note about how this is not meant to be an accurate depiction of witches, witchcraft, Wicca, etc., as there is content people in those groups would find inaccurate and possibly offensive. I love that Agatha is an officiant and how lovely and wholesome the wedding was! I am excited to read the third book in the trilogy!
