This was really cute and fun…
But I gotta say I really didn’t like Jack (MMC) at the beginning. He was too much of an asshole for no reason and it kinda soured my opinion of him through the rest of the book. Luckily his behavior did even out and it become more of a grumpy/sunshine trope which is my kryptonite and then forced proximity worked its magic. 💃
Kelly (FMC) and Jack really did work well together, she was so down-to-earth. She’s someone you want as friend so it was an enjoyable read.
I’ve never read any of these authors before but I can tell their books might be perfect for my “unwinding time.”

One of my absolute favorite tropes! Fake dating/fake fiancé. Also age gap, billionaire romance, curvy FMC. Pretty woman kinda vibes! I started and finished this pretty much in one sitting!! I adore this book so much!!
I love Kelly! She makes me laugh so much. She is silly and crazy in a good way. I also love that she is smart and is great with science. Chemistry at that!! Of course does a few careless things that caused them in the situation of being together.
Jake can be a bit of an asshole but I love it! He needs to lighten up a bit but I think Kelly has helped him with that! I love the banter between them. Their passion/(chemistry). I just love how opposites attract kinda thing. She drives him crazy but honestly he wouldn’t have it any other way now.

I loved this book so much that I flew right threw it. Such a fast read. Jack and Kelly where everything. So glad that everything worked out in the end! Can’t wait to read more from this author!

Awwww gosh I love this book so much. The perfect RomCom for this month. “Literally” you are going to laugh out loud at so many times reading this one. I love how Kelly drives Jake insane and how he totally loves it. Since chapter one you are going to love their interactions, their words, Kelly craziness and Jack stiffness lol. This one is definitely going to be on my favorites, age gap, billionaire, fake relationship, opposite attracts all of my favorites in one book. The chemistry is perfect and all the passion. Another Five Stars reading for Kacie West. Keep them coming please!!! Can’t wait for the next one.

A short and sweet review for a (relatively) short and sweet book! At 170 pages, this is a shorter read than what I’ve grown accustomed to. And it was refreshing! The MCs are great, the banter is all kinds of fabulous, and there’s fake dating and only the one bed all wrapped up in dual POV. Chapter length keeps this zipping along, the spice is nice, and overall it’s easily 💛💛💛💛 worth of enjoyment!

On a mission to prove himself worthy and valuable to the company after a little..mishap of accidentally sleeping with a client’s wife.. accidental of course due to the fact that the woman failed to mention that she was married.

Enter Kelly the enigmatic carefree woman driving his Uber to meet the Hill Family. Chatty and a bit..flighty Kelly does her best to get Jack to open up and talk a bit..it doesn’t happen until they run out of gas on the side of the mountain on the way up to the resort. Since Jack is not a total a-hole he takes Kelly to the nearest Motel to wait out the delivery of gas for her car and attend his meeting via Zoom.

Yep another fun rom/com from this duo an I laughed at the great banter all the way threw this one.
Jack is trying to prove he’s ready to take the lead in his families company after some very questionable behavior and Kelly is just trying to figure out life a little bit.
Kelly is the complete an total opposite of anything Jack should want. They are not even on the same planet and seeing him have to adjust to her being in his life as a “fake fiancé” is so great!
Kelly is so much fun, she had so many laugh out loud moments and I enjoyed that she doesn’t take life so serious, an honestly if a guy wants to give you a “Pretty Woman” moment what girl wouldn’t want that.
As these two grow closer it’s only a matter of time before oil and water mix. Seeing Jack change during this book and relax just a little was so much fun and they fall down the rabbit whole together as Alice says.
Once again I laughed at the rom/com and yes there are moments where I went yep that’s me because girls always seem to joke about random movies or silly things that guys have no clue about.
I can’t wait to see what’s next in these nursery retellings because I am enjoying them so much!

After reading Goldilocks and the Grumpy Bear I knew I was going to love the twist Kacie West put on these classic nursery rhymes. And let's be honest im a huge fan of Jenni and AJ so them combining forces i knew it was going to be amazing anyways! G & GB didn't disappoint and neither did THOH!! Fake fiancé, opposites, age gap. It had all the things I love! It gave that love hate relationship with Jack. He was such a jerk in the beginning. Out to prove himself and with only that in mind he seriously tramples all over her. The wow factor with Kelly! I love all the moments where she left him speechless after he assumed something opposite. She's trying to figure out her life, and find herself. So she's left a piece of herself hidden. And while she comes off a little flighty she's actually super intelligent and surprises Jack at every turn! I loved how easy going Kelly was once she got a little comfortable! But i also loved her sass! This book made me laugh! And i loved all the "pretty woman" mentions. I wonder if she ever made him watch it?! 🤣 I absolutely loved this!! So much so that I was surprised how quickly i finished it, and immediately wanted more! I'm excited for the next one!! ❤️

I love the one bed trope!!
Kelly is very down on her luck, working for a catering company and driving Uber on the side. She picks up a grumpy businessman from the airport and everything goes wrong.
Jack wants nothing more than to prove he can handle his own account and take over the family business. When his Uber driver causes him to almost miss a pitch meeting, he thinks it’s all over.
Somehow he ends up telling them the strange woman in the hotel room with him (who is seen in the background of the zoom meeting) is his fiancé and they come to a deal to fake a relationship for the time Jack is in town.
These two butt heads from the start! He calls her crazy girl and she tries to get him to understand that not everyone has unlimited funds to just buy whatever they want on a whim.
They end up on a one bed situation and can’t fight their urges! Once Jack gives in, he’s all in and fights for what he wants!
This is a great novella that kept my interest the entire time! Definitely give this one a read!

I really really enjoyed this one! It's a cute fake fiancee, easy and light lil romance book.
I loved the FMC was curvy and how MMC reassured her and made her feel wanted and sexy and had no problem carry her and make his fantasies true!
Jack and Kelly really meshed well together even though they were from different worlds!! Their CHEMISTRY was *chef's kiss*
Also the Pretty Woman vibes was an amazing touch!
You give me age gap, curvy/plus size heroine, fake fiancé and billionaire MMC and I'M SO IN!

An instant romcom classic for me 💙
Jack needs everything to go right on this business trip. He’s putting way too much pressure on himself over it so it only heightens the tension. Then enters Kelly; his Uber driver who becomes much more when luck isn’t on their side. Can she pull off being Jack’s fake fiancé to help him win a business deal?
I love Kelly’s go with the flow & light hearted personality. It’s the opposite of Jack's work focus, grumpiness. Her references to Pretty Woman and quirky moments leave Jack frustrated. You know with a combination like this there are going to be lots of laughable moments.
Even though she drives him crazy he still ends up falling for her. But can their relationship last past this trip?

This story was a fun, cute, lighthearted read! Jack and Kelly are opposites that initially seem like they don’t have anything in common. Both are in different stages of their lives but the more time they spend together it becomes clear that they fit together better than they thought. The different aspects of their personalities balance each other out. Having seen the movie Pretty Woman, it was fun reading the references to it throughout the book. If you’re looking for a low drama fun read, I’d recommend this book!

One thing leads to another, this being Kelly becoming his fake fiancée. The story has all the Pretty Woman vibes, and I like it that this is used in the book as well, that Kelly calls it that. But it can only be pretend, Jack can’t use the distraction Kelly will bring….
I laughed a lot with the antics of Kelly and Jack’s use of words. They made me cry happy tears.

We all know how much I loved “Goldilocks and the Grumpy Bear” and Kacie did not disappoint with this book! I loved the two main characters and I’m a sucker for good banter. I literally loved it! 😉

I loved this book and flew through it in 1 sitting. The banter between Jack and Kelly was *chefs kiss*! If you are looking for a fake fiance trope with some spice look no further.

If you like romcoms (movies or books), then you will love Tumbling Head Over Heels! It's Pretty Woman meets Schmidt from New Girl.
It has all the tropes that work so well together: grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, only one bed, fake dating, age gap, millionaire!
The dialogue was so funny and witty, and I loved the back-and-forth Jake and Kelly had going. Jake reminded me so much of Schmidt from New Girl: uptight, cranky, loyal, concerned with his image, and secretly loving the surprises that Kelly brings to every interaction with her. Kelly is an eternal sunshine character, and although she seems to be extremely scatterbrained and not very practically minded, I really loved that this was never used to make fun of her. When she comes into her own with regards to chemistry and lab work, it is clear that she is very intelligent while ALSO being very scatterbrained.
If you are looking for a fun, low-angst, witty, and sexy read, then this one will not disappoint.

When she comes into her own with regards to chemistry and lab work, it is clear that she is very intelligent while ALSO being very scatterbrained.
If you are looking for a fun, low-angst, witty, and sexy read, then this one will not disappoint.

I had the privilege to receive this as an arc.
This was such a cute and funny novela!! This book actually had me giggling at some of the conversations between Jack and Kelly. I also loved the Pretty Woman similarities. I definitely enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more of her books.

A cute and fun read with a good premise! It was funny and steamy! I really wish we couldve dived into the characters a bit more and have them develop but it was a good novella. I enjoyed the story and the opprotunity to read it.

This is a very cute novella about a small town girl who gets her prince charming. Kelly and Jack's story is so heartwarming, and I love the play on Pretty Woman.

This novella is super cute romcom. I swear Kelly was so unpredictable with what she came out & said that it had me laughing so much. Jack on the other Mr. Grumpy business man who really had to win me over because I wasn't too sure if I was going to like him at first but by the end I was smiling. Definitely recommend!

Cute, lighthearted rom-com but with plenty of drama. This story was laugh out loud funny at times because Kelly is so unpredictable and Jack is your typical grumpy billionaire who struggles with his feelings. Great book, good plot and very relatable characters. Loved it!

I absolutely loved this book. I laughed so many times while reading. The banter between Jack and Kelly is on point. I loved the nicknames like "Mr. Sparkle Pants, and Tweedle Dee." I will admit, at first I did not like Jack at all. But he grew on me. Kelly was my favorite character, and honestly, I want to be her best friend!

All Jack can hear as he exits the Asheville airport is his boss's warning "Don't screw this up!" It is pouring rain and he has been being cramped sitting in coach from Los Angeles to Asheville since his father had the company jet in New York.
As he looks for his Uber he wishes again that he had rented a car. Even though the Nickles Group was his father's company, his colleague Larry was a favorite and if Larry's wife hadn't gone into labor he wouldn't have been given another opportunity to prove himself
He was tired of being reminded of his mistake...how was he to know that the woman who approached him was the new client's wife. He was determined to get this account and make his father proud.
Kelly was glad she hadn't stopped to get gas or she would have been late picking up her fare and the man in the back of her car didn't look like being late would be an option. Tension radiated from him and he was glaring when swiping his hand through his hair only to hit the headliner.
Mr. Tall Suit should be used to squeezing his massive body into cars. As he growls at her she wonders if he was never taught manners or was just a jerk. Too bad his attitude took away from the gorgeous package...tall, blonde hair, deep voice and mesmerizing green eyes.
Jack can't believe she ran out of gas. The most important meeting of his career and he's stranded on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere with a stupid woman who doesn't know what a gas gauge is.
I absolutely loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. Even though his Uber driver is driving him insane he is not such a jerk to leave her on side of the road where anything could happen to her so they start walking to a motel they had driven past.
Despite how her clothes leave nothing to the imagination after being plastered to her body from the pouring rain he was determined to avoid temptation. In order to not miss his appointment he joined the Zoom conference that had already been scheduled with the LA office with the rest of the marketing team.
When he realized that both his boss and the owners of Hill Waters were looking over his shoulder and his boss demanding to know who was with him all he could think to salvage the situation was to introduce her as his fiance.
This book is action-packed, laugh-out-loud funny and packed with smoking hot chemistry. Despite Kelly making him totally insane since the moment they met he puts on his sales-pitch face and tells her he will pay her to be his fake fiance for the next few days, but he finds that Kelly might live by the seat of her pants but she isn't anything like he first imagined.
This writing duo has brought these characters and story to life. You can feel Jack's frustration through the pages and can actually see the eye tic when dealing with Kelly. Although I have read (and loved) Jenni Bara's books in the past I have yet to read anything from the other half of this duo AJ Ranney, but I look forward to adding her to my TBR list and look forward to more books written under Kacie West.

Jack Nickles, account manager for his father's marketing firm, the Nickles Group, is traveling to Asheville to meet with a potential client. His colleague had planned to attend the meeting until his pregnant wife unexpectedly went into labor, forcing Jack to hop on a plane at the last minute. He's grateful for the opportunity, however; he made a big mistake several months ago, and now everyone at work, especially his father, thinks he's a screw-up. If he can land this new account, Jack's sure his reputation will be restored.
Meanwhile, Kelly Jillian has been working two jobs while she tries to figure out her future after dropping out of nursing school. After meeting with a bakery in Asheville for her day job with a catering company, she decides to pick up an Uber fare to cover the cost of her trip. She heads to the airport and winds up with Jack as her passenger. Unfortunately, her car runs out of gas on the side of the road on the way to the mountain resort where he's meeting his potential clients. Even though she's done nothing but annoy him since she picked him up, Jack can't in good conscience leave Kelly there alone, so he convinces her to walk with him through the pouring rain to a nearby motel. He plans to Zoom into his meeting while she waits for roadside assistance. It doesn't quite work out that way, however; when his family-oriented potential clients accidentally catch sight of Kelly waiting in his hotel room, Jack panics and says that she's his fiancee. They insist on having her join them for the weekend, leaving him to convince her to go along with his scheme.
I really enjoyed this fun, quick read. Jack came across as kind of a jerk at first, but I don't think that was his true personality. He was under a tremendous amount of pressure, and while he shouldn't have been taking it out on Kelly or anyone else, I understood why he was crabby. As for Kelly, she was a lot smarter and more observant than Jack (and probably a lot of people) initially thought. I loved that as much as she drove him crazy (and made his eye twitch), he never tried to change her, just rolled with the chaos. I think he secretly enjoyed the unpredictability and fun she brought into his life.
I highly recommend this book for all romantic comedy fans and look forward to whatever the authors come up with next!
