When he’s not writing, he enjoys playing pickleball and spending time with his family.
Like putting on a favourite jumper whilst it rained outside. Very easy read but enough depth and twists and turns to keep you guessing and pondering.
Been a while since I read the previous book but that did not matter as memory joggers in the first few pages of past incidents. Characters development evolving and old advisories still causing trouble.
Another case to delve into and Bridgett supposedly is taking it easy rather than getting a complicated case. However, even a supposedly easy cold case comes up more involved. Bridgett is exceptionally bright and gets clues that were missed previously.
I’ve really enjoyed the Bridgette Cash series and this latest (and final?) instalment was no different. Easy to read and like talking to an old friend, I highly recommend this book and its predecessors. It’s not revolutionary by any means, but it’s a good solid police procedural with characters you can empathise with. It also has great tense moments that keep things interesting.
Like the prior books by Trevor Douglas it was hard to put it down. A fast moving story line with a few twists and turns that led to the finish in a rush. All in all a great read.
This is a fast moving story about a highly intelligent female rookie detective . She has to keep proving herself to the higher ups in the police department. She's working in a man's world and they don't like it.
I just finished the last book of this series and it is awesome. These books keep you trying to figure out who done it. Trevor Douglas is an awesome author. These books are the Bridgette case mystery thriller books. Read them. You will be glad you did.
I was kind of sad that this was the last book in the series. I hope he writes more. He keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps a lot of twists and turns in his writings. I recommend this series highly and will be lookin for more of his books!
The story line was great. My only problem was with the editing. Quite a lot of mistakes with missed words and some extra words. I’m a bit of an English nerd and can’t help noticing these discrepancies. Love my reading so much.
Oh My Gosh! I was hooked from the first paragraph of the first story. I ready all 6 of these books within a week. I will be back for more of Trevor Douglas. What a great storyteller. I've already recommended this series to several friends and family. Loved Bridgette and Delray.
Too bad there is not a 7th book yet, I could read it next! I accidentally deleted book 6 and had to re-purchase it, that is how much I love reading about Bridgette Cash and her life!!!!
Really enjoyed the whole Bridgette Cash books. The whole series was fast paced and lived that Bridgette and Levis got together. I hope the author writes more in this series.
