HEA. No Cliffhangers. Twilight Mate is an 18+, thrilling paranormal romance that explores the electrifying chemistry between an attractive vampire and the human woman he has fallen for. Perfect for fans who love a fast-paced blend of action and danger with their romance.
There is a mystery in Montana and Maya has come from New Orleans to unbury it. Before the bones of the story get unraveled, she finds herself falling for a Vampire- Leo.......
Fiona brings the reader into the chill of Montana as Maya is not only swept up in solving a mystery, a new love, and a tift between the vampire houses. Loveable characters return for cameos. And as usual with Fiona, the final battle is worth the read and masterfully choreographed. Well done!
We're going back to Red Lodge, Montana. But this time, we have reporter Maya Dupuy, from New Orleans, who works for the Cheyenne Telegram, investigating a woman who went missing 15yrs prior in that area. Also, cattle have been slaughtered as well. Who would do such a thing? What Maya wasn't expecting was meeting the quirky, otherworldly Leo Lancaster, twin of Katherine Lancaster. And Maya likes him. He's different. More than you know, Maya.😄 Don't worry, Leo likes her too. The siblings have accents, are pale, have European accents. You know something is about to happen! Vampires. There are differences here to the myth. I found that interesting. At times, the story got a little long and dragged out, but once the story went forward with the Weres, it moved right along. Action. Drama. Spice. May I suggest something? We needed more buildup of Leo trying to resist his hunger tbh. That bite!! The twins' enemy Anton has decided to reside in Red Lodge. He's bad news all the way around.🩸😵🩸
We get to revisit the Weres. Bone Crow Pack! Remember August and Tess? Even grumpy kick @$$ Natasha is ready to spring into action.🐺👊🏻 I think we need a book about her. And being a deputy with the unlikable Sheriff Matthews would be a hoot!!🤪 Leo and Kat will need to speak to August, to hopefully join forces, to battle Anton. The baddie will be a problem for everyone in this town. Will it work out? And Maya and Leo, can a human and vampire have a lasting loving relationship? Check this one out. Have fun reading!!💥💥💥
🧛🏻Thank you for an early book via Bookfunnel. This is my honest critique on the story.🧛🏻
Set in the quaint town of Red Lodge, the story follows Maya, a New Orleans native sent to the Cheyenne telegram for her protection. Her next assignment of animal attacks has discovering the disappearance of a woman 15 years earlier and embarking on a mission to uncover the truth. Little does she know she will fall in love with a vampire. I myself am a Twihard and team Jacob all the way but am still a sucker for a good vampire love story! I appreciated the cameos of some characters from the first book and the unexpected twists that had me not wanting to put the book down. Oooh and the climax of the battle! I don't want to give anything away but I was on the edge of my seat! I can't wait to see what comes next!
This book was so good. Fiona never misses with her shifter romance. Leo was something out of my dreams. He was a true gentleman. Maya was an amazing character. The instant attraction between the two was chefs kiss…. The build up to the ending scene had me on my toes. I for sure thought I was about to lose one of my characters. Maya is a reporter and heads to the small town to investigate the weird animal attacks and the suspicious disappearance of a local woman. Leo and his sister are there to locate Anton and cross paths with Maya. They team up with Tess and the local werewolf pack to fight Anton and the others. This book was amazing 😍😍 10 out of 10 recommend
Leo and Maya’s story intertwines with the Bone Crow’s from book one . It is a well written, fast paced story that brings vampires into the series as well as the Redeemer’s a hunter group out to eradicate supernaturals. Maya is a smart, snarky human who falls for vampire Leo, here to to take down Anton a vampire breaking the Blood Accords. Leo’is as Uber alpha as they come, but he has a gooey center when it comes to Maya. Great mixture of action and sexual heat. Can’t wait for book 3. I received a copy of the book from the Author and am choosing to leave this review. 4✨’s Wonderful Urban Fantasy/Paranormal romance.
Thrilling paranormal romance that explores the electrifying chemistry between an attractive vampire and the human woman he has fallen for. This was a quick read, easy to follow and a good plot. This is book 2 and it also takes place in Montana. I truly enjoy Leo the vampire he was the dreamy, gentle that is lethal at the same time. As for Maya I adored her character and tenacity. I really liked that we got to see Tessa and the werewolves again from book one as they team up against Anton. This was amazing wished it was longer.
Interesting tale of a supernatural fight along with a love story!
I highly enjoyed reading this story. How the mystery of a missing woman years ago affected a small Montana town then and now in the present day and age when her body is found. It’s also a love story between a human and a vampire, not to mention of friendship and trust between human, vampires and weres. The bad guy is truly reprehensible and will break rules however he wants to in order to obtain his goal. I highly recommend this story to all lovers of paranormal romance.
Good overall story! It's a little slow and not a lot of action against the bad guy, rather disappointing. Good continuation or segway from the last book though.
