This is a relatively short book, but there's lots of information in here, and it's worth returning to it for reference time and again.
The electronic edition has several very annoying typos, but for the relatively low price of the Kindle edition vs the over-inflated cost for a used copy of the out of print paperback, I'll live with it!
I've enjoyed each book by Victor and Cora. My exposure to their Vicia tradition is very minimal, and restricted to books and online articles and blogs, but much of their philosophy and worldview overlaps with mine to such an extent that it's almost unnerving at times. They were definitely pioneers in the 20th century craft revival, and many of their published teachings are of value to anyone whose spiritual practice veers into the territory of witchcraft and gnosis through personal experience of the divine.
The Ha prayer and the rite of unbinding are practices specific to Feri that have been extremely helpful and empowering to me. My interest in this book was mainly due to the sections describing the process of performing both of these practices. Many other authors have touched on them, but the Andersons were the source and reading their descriptions helped me to better understand not just the how, but also the why.

Great Information

This book has great information. I have been learning what I can about the F(a)eri(e) and Reclaiming Traditions on my own since I don't live close enough learn from an actual teacher. This book is definitely a good resource.

If you ever wanted to taste some slices of the cosmology of an isolated, then actively oppressed culture/religion, then here's your chance.
I had to read it twice and looking at it now, I realize that I will have to read it many times. It is that different from what I have lived. However it addresses ideas that those who read esoterica are already familiar with. Among other things, you might find it fun to compare Victor's definitions of what aura colors mean to those of other adepts.
If you are a quick reader, you can blow through it in less than an hour, even if much of it is new to you. To actually learn something might take you a bit more time.

I read this book in high school and it is still the worst piece of fluffy new age garbage I have ever read. I've read a few bad occult/new age books, but this one most certainly takes the cake.
