Andie M. Long is the author of multiple titles including the popular Supernatural Dating Agency series.
When not writing, or editing for other authors, she spends her time drinking coffee and eating far too many Toblerones. She adores her whippet, Bella, and is tormented frequently by her OH and her teenage son.
She adores the book community, chatting with likeminded people who don't roll their eyes when she talks books, unlike the OH and teenage son...

He pushed me away and held me at arm’s length with what I felt to be considerable strength from arm-porn arms that made Captain America’s look like shoelaces.
I prayed to God that the bulge in his pants wasn’t a hot dog he’d stolen from the burger bar and saved for later.
#2 A Devil of a Date
I’d kept up with certain things in Hell. We had computers though the internet was limited to what Satan felt we needed to know… Fashion was easy to keep up with as the new residents came fully dressed and I gained an envied designer wardrobe from the many rich wives who’d killed their cheating husbands. That’s how my love of Louboutins had started.
#3 Hate, Date, or Mate?
We are not dudes… I hate people use that word for everyone. Makes me think I’ve grown a penis, and I didn’t realise.
But I’ve gone off coffee. I mean that really is the Devil’s work, it’s got to be. Making me go off coffee and doughnuts is the worst evil I’ve ever encountered.
#4 Here for the Seer
… my own supernatural powers were limited to the visions. The vampires could whizz, the werewolves could run at speed, demons could open and travel through portals, and angels could fly. It wasn’t entirely fair that I helped the universe and still had to pay for taxis, but such was my lot.
Shelley wanting a ‘word’. I’d bet they were ones where she’d need to donate to the swear jar.
#5 Didn’t Sea It Coming
He could have asked me anything at that moment. I was so sucked in I’d have given him a kidney.
…he is a fine steak all right. I’m worshipping at the feet of the guy who from now on shall be known as Sir Loins.
Who you gonna protest to? The only royalty you’re going near is Burger King.
#6 Phwoar and Peace
Oh my! Would tonight be the night? To say I was nervous was an understatement. I wasn’t convinced that an education from Pornhub was the way to go and so last night I’d gone on some forums on the internet for advice. I’d ended up reading several horror stories about broken penises…
I placed a hand on each hip. Lucy did the same. All we needed were cowboy hats and pistols and we were ready to duel.
My Review:
I smirked, giggle snorted, and laughed aloud as I read this delightfully amusing and titillating series. I totally admire and covet Andie M. Long’s clever brand of naughtiness as well as her irreverent, bawdy, and snarky sense of humor. The Supernatural Dating Agency Series was several layers beyond witty, cunningly crafted, crisply written, and deviously inventive. I would read more paranormal tales if they were half as much fun as this one. The storylines were unique, comical, and extremely entertaining. Unbeknown to the mortals, the cozy community of Withernsea was full of supernaturals of all types; vampires, were-creatures, demons, witches, mermen, cupids, etc., so many in fact, that the local Dating Agency felt the need to expand their services and opened Withernsea Dating - the Supernatural Dating Agency, for those with special needs such as sleep impairments, select tastes, additional grooming issues once a month, or list their favorite food as, “A classic O-neg, preferably drunk straight from the source.”
What a delightful read! Andie Long books are always well written with terrific characters and lots of twists and turns. You can honestly get hooked on her amazing tales! Each book in this collection is a standalone story; however, if you read them all together...Wow! Be sure to grab your your collection today. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this collection—and fell in love with these wacky characters all over again!) ❤️
Supernatural Dating Agency - The Complete Collection (Books 1-6) by Andie M Long these are six fantastic five-star reads all wrapped up in one collection. I have loved these as individual books, but as a collection they will take you away to Withernsea and hold you hostage in the best way possible, as you wont ever want to leave.
This author has written a fantastic series where I feel like I know the perfectly quirky characters and Withernsea sounds like a fun place I'd love to visit. I highly recommend this series to everyone looking for an fun entertaining read. The Vampire Wants a Wife: I loved this supernatural dating agency story!! It's about a young woman who owns a dating service and a vampire who wants a wife to spend eternity with. This book has everything a great paranormal story needs a witch, vampire, werewolf, demons and a town named Withernsea. A Devil of a Date: This is the second book in the Supernatural Dating Agency series and it's just as great as the first one. Full of humor, drama, suspense and an amazing cast of characters. Loved going on Lucy's journey to find love and Kim's reluctance to see her own destiny. Hate Date or Mate: I have been waiting anxiously to read Hate Date or Mate and it was so worth the wait! Love that Darius knows Kim is his mate and is determined to prove it to her. These two go through so much on their journey of love and it was so fun to read about it. Great writing, humor, paranormal drama and great characters…this book definitely does not disappoint. Here For The Seer: We get all the characters from the previous books and in this book we also get to know Ebony better. Ebony's visions come back and she sees her own wedding but she doesn't even have a boyfriend. Withernsea is in for some changes. This is a well written story full of humor, mystery, suspense and a great romance. Didn't Sea It Coming: Love Polly and Drake's journey of love and how her sister Shelly tries to help without actually getting involved. This book is full of humor, drama, romance, love spats and some twists you don't see coming. Phwoar and Peace: In this book not only do we get to catch up with all the amazing characters we get Charlie finally taking her rightful place as Queen and fighting for Withernsea and her love for her Merman Kai.
I read the first book in the Collection, 'Vampire needs a Wife' but ended up returning it via KU prior to finishing the remainder - mainly because it was a mishmash of confusing ideas and disjointed dialogue. There WERE funny parts, quite a few actually, and if they had been more clear, or less forced, I might have stuck with the entire series.
Pros: ~ Good Ideas over all; interesting Meta Plot. ~ Humor throughout. ~ Female friendships mean something.
Cons: ~ Confusing, without explanation or clarity. ~ World building is convoluted and makes little sense. ~ Seriously, what is going on?
Please note, this review is based on the FIRST book in the series ONLY! I am rating it a 3 star due to that book, but please, do not just take my opinion. Many series suffer from a 'first book curse' and get better with time. Maybe this is one of those? Have you read the rest? What did you think? Should I give it another shot? I am more than happy to update my review at another time - I just had a hard time working through this.
Life in Withernsea is never boring and I have found that I love spending time with this amazing group of characters. This is a fresh and fun paranormal romance series with so many amazing characters to love. I enjoy the blend of these different worlds and how the characters have found this amazing family that challenges and loves each other. I’m always surprised and find myself laughing out loud as I devour these stories. From meeting the characters in the first book to building on each one’s journey while showing how they interconnect gives this series depth that keeps you guessing. I also appreciate the different viewpoints that are used at various times to add dimension to the complexity of life in Withernsea. A great series that provides fun, sexiness, craziness and romance! I read the books as they were individually released.
This series is all about the romance obviously it’s about a dating agency so some people might be disappointed with the lack of a fantastical battles and shenanigans. but truly this is about the relationships with the friendship relationships of parental relationships and their romantic relationships. so if you go in knowing that, it’s really funny it’s British so it’s just that much funnier to us American folk and it’s really lovable with a lot of great great funny hilarious characters
Awesome. These characters had me in stitches! Snarky, strong, heroines too boot! Filled with vampires, ghosts, werewolves, demons, witches, mermen and soooo much more. Adventures, thrills, plots, twist, drama and a whole lot of love. Great stories and beautifully written. This author was fou d an an anthology. Borrowed from Kindle unlimited. Thank you Andie for veing a rock star!
I really loved this book. It was fun and quirky with a good bit of dirty humor. The narration by Angela Doll worked so well with this book, I don't think it would have been quite as good had I read the book instead.
Shelley runs a dating agency in a small town. When she receives an application from a potential client stating that he is a "vampire" Shelley wonders how big of a nut job this man really is. All is fun and games while Shelley and her assistant think Theo has lost touch with reality until Theo turns out to be a match for Shelley in her database, and it turns out that Shelley may be a touch supernatural as well.
There are vampires , seers , angels , Satan and so many others creatures throughout this set. Each and everyone Intetwins with each other. Great read and highly recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyable series from start to finish. A nice mix of supernatural, romance and suspense. Easy to read but difficult to put down once you’ve started!
Great! Ntm author.. wasn't expecting to absolutely love this series! Actually Lol'd quite alot....which got me a few choice looks from family members trying to watch their tv shows...ooops😂
Twists all over the place. Interesting characters which is a given when involving supes. Each book had a HFN ending with an overarching story that bound them all together.
