Burned: Brave and Inspiring Stories From Women Who Have Overcome Their Fears to Speak Their Truth and Share Their Wisdom

Rate this book
Have you ever felt that you needed to suppress parts of yourself in order to be accepted or remain safe?

Do you want to overcome fear, speak your truth, and step into your full power?

It’s not necessary to have been a "witch" to have experienced the Witch Wound—many healers, midwives, and community elders were persecuted for having knowledge, skills, or leadership qualities that presented a threat to the prevalent social hierarchy of the time, and the resulting fear and trauma has imprinted itself into our generational DNA.

The scars we, as women, bear from the Witch Wound may have led to a disconnection from yourself, your intuitive abilities, your cultural heritage, ancestral healing modalities, and even oppression of your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions.

The brave and inspiring authors of Burned, have chosen to explore their stories to uncover the ways the Witch Wound has manifested for them, and within each narrative, they lay the foundations for both their own healing and that of the women who have come before and those to come.

As you follow their individual journeys, you may recognize elements of your own experiences within their stories, and we hope that you'll be inspired

★ Uncover how the Witch Wound has manifested in your own life

★ Reclaim your magic, power, and voice so you can share it with the world!

Honest, courageous and inspiring

Congratulations to the amazing women who have shared their personal experiences and vulnerabilities with honesty and courage. Life presents all of us with challenges at every stage and we don’t always have someone to support us when we need it most. These stories help us look to our inner strengths and encourage us to believe in ourselves. Thank you.

A great series of books that relates so many different perspectives on our life experiences and inspires each of us to be the real person we should be, not dominated by the expectations of others.

Well worth a read.

WOW!!!!

As I sit here with news that my cousins house just went up in flames, the story about the woman's childhood home going up in flames hits hard.

I also enjoyed the homework in one of the chapters.

I absolutely loved this book! Many stories felt as if I was reading about aspects of my own life. I loved it so much that I just ordered the other 2 books in the series. So excited for those as well!
