The three tales collected in this text tell of a grand triangle of vampires. Life and death are never straight-forward for the characters as they are possessed and turned into vampires.
The first third of the book was a little confusing at first. Every two chapters or so it would not only switch POV but it would switch from past tense to present tense, which is not something that carried on through the other two thirds of the book. I understood that the reason for it was so the reader could see from the Vampire POV but, honestly it was pretty jarring.
The writing was pretty much the only thing that I enjoyed in the book. The story itself was all over the place the further it went on, as if it was kind of losing itself along the way. And I didn't really care about any of the characters that much, so I kind of had to push to finish it towards the end.
But, it did trashy vampire romance novel well. I will give it that. Which, all in all, is what it came into this world to do.
