This book contains images of the artist's work and his home. It is fascinating, but not someplace I could feel comfortable in, as he layers pattern with pattern and it's busy, busy, busy. I find negative space (blank areas) restful. There are good instructions given to make some of his quilt, rug, and mosaic designs.

I didn't think there would be any projects in this so was pleasantly surprised to see some at the end of the book, but it is mainly a book of inspiration. Beautiful photographs, I fear my house would end up looking like a mess if I tried this but Kaffe pulls it off effortlessly.
