This volume was perfection in every single way!

There was not a moment that I wasn't deeply invested in where I wasn't leaning forward to read more! I honestly don't even know what to highlight in saying what was my favorite part because I loved it all!

Wait, there was ONE moment and that was near the beginning! BUT! It was only because certain people were injured but the way a certain someone expressed their feelings right after…IT WAS SO GOOD!! An incredible and emotional buildup that left me smiling, almost crying, and overwhelmingly happy! Goodness, IT. WAS. GOOD!

Everything after that just seemed to get even better and didn't even know that was possible! The way that Noah fully trusts Raeliana, how affectionate they were, and OH MY GOODNESS, the way Raeliana almost got taken out!!!!

We have FINALLY met Beatrice!! Well, Raeliana has and it was not the reunion I expected at all! That was SUPER intense and I was so relieved that Raeliana was okay! STAY AWAY FROM OUR BEST GIRL, BEATRICE!!!

There was lots and lots of humor in this volume, which I think is sort of usual for this series, but it felt especially funny this time around! I'm hoping that it wasn't me just riding on some emotional high because of all the good things happening because while there were many fun moments, the ending definitely made it known that there are hardships ahead.

Believing these two will have the happiest of endings though because they are so strong together! Definitely one of my favorite reads this month for sure!

A lot to take in with this volume!

I love this series so much, every volume has a nice satisfying amount of story and pages. It's also delight to have full color through the whole volume. There's a lot to unpack with the developments in this one, but when I read the preview for the next volume I felt like I got hit between the eyes by a bag of bricks! Oh boy! Definitely a must read, and if you're a fan of the series you will not be disappointed.

Many spoilers ahead: in this volume Realiana has a lot of development. She uses up her lucky charm that the holy Grandpa gave her to grow back an arm on the Duke. Their relationship gets so much closer as they confess their mutual love. It's very pleasing to see them snuggled together not hiding their affections anymore. To add to that, this volume is the volume where she finally confesses to the Duke her isakai background. It's kind of funny how easy he takes her word for it, I think at this point she has earned enough of his trust and faith that he just does believe her. I always find communication issues to be the lamest hurdles in relationships so I'm glad that this particular hurdle has been jumped and successfully so.

Finally, the fateful meeting between Beatrice and our leading lady happens and it has quite the impact. There's already been a lot of hinting that Beatrice is not a good guy but to have her straight up go and attempt murder of Raeliana is interesting. She's supposed to be some super smart pseudo Sherlock Holmes but her choices Don't feel as clever. I can't help but wonder if she and the Duke are going to have an unnatural attraction, there's a lot of hints that it might be a thing. And I can understand why our MC is getting nervous. There was a moment where it almost looked like Noah did feel something strange when Beatrice says her heart is racing. I'm not sure if he had started feeling the pull of the book plot or if it really was him smelling kerosene on her. At least when he finds out that the original book plot has him falling in love with Beatrice he instead reassures Raeliana that she is the only one he loves. I hope that sentiment remains consistent till the end. I feel like having that messed with is too cliche. I like the idea of faithful love, and the age-old trope of forced separation can be quite tiresome.

The preview for the next volume blew me out of the water. They finally got their hands on someone who may have the skill set to solve some of the supernatural problems but the recommendation from said priestess is to just hook up with the blonde, AKA Beatrice, and kill off the brunette, Raeliana. I think if things continue to stack against them The Duke really will move them to the holy Land. You have to admire his dedication.

En pleno combate el rey le da a escoger a uno a Raeliana, pero una explosión alerta a todos y ya no da su respuesta, (igual sabemos que elegía a Noah), cuando ambos llegan a ella y ella solo mira a Noah, parece ser el momento exacto en el que Justin se rinde, Raeliana sabe donde están los terroristas, así que lo manda y él va sin cuestionar :3, amando a Adam protegiendola y como le pide que mire a otro lado mientras mata, igual que Noah, escuchan de una trampa y van a ayudar, santo dúo se cargan, y logran llegar con Noah, pero igual explotan y él la protege, perdiendo un brazo :((, Raeliana entra en desesperación, culpandose y contando todo, antes de usar el cascabel de Hiika, él se niega pues un brazo no es importante a comparación de ella, pero Raeliana continúa, concentrandose solo en su presente le dice te amo y se besan mientras el cascabel le regresa el brazo :3
Descansan abrazados, él confiesa qué cree en su historia, un soldado medio muerto los observa aksja, Adam vaga en su búsqueda y ellos se dan amor y Noah le deja marcas en el cuello aaaaaa, al llegar a casa los sirvientes lo notan jsjs y vuelven al cariño en su habitación, al día siguiente Withney habla de las marcas y Noah lo noquea con una zapatilla ajsjaja, y dice preciosamente "Aunque el mundo sea destruido mañana, te seguiré creyendo" YA DENME A MI NOAH, se preparan para un baile, el beso y como la llama hermosa me hace daño, las brujas la capturan y prenden fuego, amo a Adam buscándola rompiendo paredes mientras come dulces ksjs, Noah la encuentra y ese "Pase lo que pase, iré a buscarte" DE VERDAD QUIERO A MI DUQUE, Adam preocupado, Raeliana feliz de que dijo más de tres palabras jsj, Noah se encuentra con la prota, Raeliana se llena de celos, dudas y tristeza, interviene y los separa, antes cuando la otra lo toca, Noah se queda en plan, no hay duda, este toque y estas manos... y me paniquee, pero parece que solo olió la gasolina, Raeliana le cuestiona que sintió al verla y él solo se emociona y burla de sus celos aksja.


Ame que literal paso lo que pedí ajsjajs, algo le pasó a mi duque, Raeliana sufrió y se rindió, y aunque adore su intervención con la otra, habría amado ver que hacía o decía Noah en esa situación, no dudo en lo absoluto de sus sentimientos, pero el primer encuentro sintió algo, así que ansiaba que la sacara alv, en plan, "no me toques, estoy comprometido" anskaja, igual ame, mi fav de momento.

I am so much in love with this story.

I love how Raeliana doesn't sit and wait for someone to save her, but moves to save herself, even if it is really risky nonetheless.

I loved the banters they had (which decreased with how messy things got between them) and now that things are coming to light and bringing them together, they are still having them awesome banters and the tension between them is just so good.

I also love the fact Beatrice didn't blabber on or give explanation about her actions. Sure, we wanna know what is going on, but this makes it much better story than those silly ones, where a villain would laugh hysterically and proceeds to reveal it all, when it seems they won and the character in their grasp is done for.

This volume brings us a major turning point in the story—Raeliana finally confesses her love to Noah! Not only that, but she also reveals the shocking truth about her soul being transferred into this fictional world. The emotional weight of her confession, paired with Noah's reaction, adds a heartfelt depth to their relationship that fans have been waiting for.

What really surprised me, though, was the twist involving the original main character—who now appears as the main antagonist! She seems to know Raeliana’s secret, and that adds a whole new layer of tension and mystery to the plot. It completely flips the narrative and keeps you on your toes.

The pacing of this manhwa continues to shine, with a great balance of action, comedy, and romance. The chemistry between Noah and Raeliana is stronger than ever, and their increasing lovey-dovey moments are just chef's kiss. It’s sweet, swoony, and still has enough suspense to keep readers hooked.

The plot is moving along quickly now, although with some odd holes.

Starting with: where did Noah's sword go? He had literally been sparring with Justin in the arena just before the explosions began, after which Raeliana immediately sent him down to the tunnels to find the perpetrators. There's absolutely no way he took some random guard's sword for that fight rather than his own, particularly if the whole idea was that someone else's sword would be super blunt and brittle and would break. And why would they be outfitting their soldiers with breakaway swords anyway?? (Unless it was like, specifically a blunt sword intended to prevent actual harm from coming to the competitors? Except that wasn't what the narration said had happened.)

Then there's my #1 issue with this manhwa adaptation, which is the completely inability to zoom OUT beyond the characters' faces. I could hardly tell what was going on underground, or how Noah even got injured. There was an explosion, I think....which sent rubble pitching down on them...which chopped off Noah's arm??? But somehow left everyone else completely unharmed.

It's...baffling, and so annoying that at no point during the publication process did the editors say hey, Whale, could you maybe like. Paint a bigger picture of where the characters even ARE.

This happened again in a later scene, where Noah sees Raeliana dangling from a window (with sheets that probably would've burned through by then, but whatever...) and then suddenly catches her when she falls. The implication is that he must've stuck his sword into the side of the building to catch them as he plummeted down to grab her, but it is just not effectively shown in the slightest.

My final complaint is the whole Beatrice situation, which swings away from the art and back to the main story. A lot of the will-they-won't-they angst gets lost when Noah has never met his book-fiancee before, and therefore has zero emotional attachment to her. Raeliana's hooked on the idea that they're "destined" for each other, but (a) he's been in love with Raeliana for five months (b) the moment he meets Beatrice, he finds out she's just tried to set his beloved Raeliana on fire.

I...don't think there's a lot of chemistry sparking there.

It just feels a bit too cut and dry, with zero possibility of an actual love triangle happening because Beatrice is Very Evil. It would've been a more complex and interesting story if Raeliana had really had to struggle with the idea of taking another innocent woman's fated life away from her.

I was surprised that she told Noah the truth about the other world and her soul being dropped into Raeliana's body. And even eventually telling him about Beatrice. He took it remarkably in stride, but while he can't actually wrap his mind around it, there are a few reasons he'd believe her.

1. He simply chooses to, because he loves her. Which he straight up tells her.
2. It's honestly a lot better than the alternative he was trying to ignore, which was that she'd infiltrated his life because she was a traitor. (And he'd already sworn to himself to keep loving her regardless.)
3. Their world has tons of very dramatic magic, so soul-swapping and world-traveling honestly isn't as wild of a concept as it would be back in her original world, or in ours.

And once Noah is looped in, things can start moving along a whole lot faster, because he has way more resources at his command than Raeliana did on her own. Which results in the imprisoned dark priestess being located and brought to Noah's mansion to meet with them. I like her. She's weird and funny. Hopefully she's not evil too, but it doesn't seem like it so far. Seems like she just got locked up for 70 years because she had powers the people in charge decided they no longer appreciated.

Beh, in questo volume ne sono successe di tutti i colori, non c'è che dire:
- tanto per cominciare, Raeliana dovrebbe imparare a non sganciare certe rivelazioni in contesti poco adatti - la sua dichiarazione d'amore, la faccenda della trasmigrazione e del romanzo...tutte cose che Noah prende con una calma olimpica, cosa che ho trovato francamente molto poco credibile, ma facciamo finta di niente;
- penso che la ship abbia preso il largo, ormai i due mi sembrano sulla stessa lunghezza d'onda e ora che sa tutto, Noah è pronto a sostenere Raeliana a trovare le risposte alle sue domande. Cosa che li porta in rotta di collisione con una delle ultime persone rimaste a conoscere e a praticare le arti della Old Church;
- Beatrice: beh, la stronza ha rivelato la sua vera natura. Questa volta ci è andata giù pesante nel tentativo di uccidere Raeliana, ma, fortunatamente, le è andata male. E cosa ancora più grave si è fatta un brutto nemico, visto che è entrata nel mirino di Noah (insieme a quella scema di Vivian, che rischia di fare una brutta fine, tanto più che il suo futuro sposo è stato informato del suo coinvolgimento in tutta questa faccenda; se Noah dovesse portare delle prove concrete, temo che i suoi sogni di gloria andranno in frantumi). Da quello che ho capito, Beatrice sa benissimo che quella che si trova davanti non è la vera Raeliana ed è tornata per "rimettere a posto" le cose: si è fatta adottare da un nobile, così da avere le spalle più coperte, vuole mettere le mani su Noah e da mesi ha fatto di tutto per liberarsi della sua ex amica. Vorrei capire cosa le è successo negli anni in cui ha studiato all'estero e se ha qualche intrallazzo con i poteri oscuri che circondano il corpo di Raeliana. È come se stesse cercando di rimettere in piedi la trama del libro con la forza. Solo che la povera scema non ha capito una cosa importante: anche nel caso in cui dovesse riuscire a liberarsi di Raeliana, Noah non se la filerebbe comunque di striscio. Anzi, ora come ora la vuole eliminare, quindi la vedo un po' difficile per lei.
Resta da capire come funziona questa faccenda della trasmigrazione delle anime - come ha fatto l'anima di una persona nata in Corea ad entrare in un mondo fittizio -, che fine ha fatto la Raeliana originale, e se i nostri protagonisti troveranno la soluzione a tutti questi quesiti e a liberarsi di tutti i cagacazzo che vogliono creargli dei problemi.
Insomma, un volume in cui non mancano i colpi di scena, ma da cui mi aspettavo di più.

Antépénultième tome, les autrices y accélèrent drastiquement le rythme faisant avancer intrigue, romance et complots.

Les fans de la série seront ravie de ce tome où enfin, après une mise en danger des héros, ils se rapprochent s’avouent leurs sentiments et s’ouvrent sur leurs secrets, du moins Raeliana. On ne peut pas dire que c’est fait avec grande finesse, mais à défaut, c’est très efficace. J’ai apprécié qu’on arrête de tourner autour du peau et que cette situation stressante la pousse à tout dire, sentimentalement mais aussi sur le secret de ses origines. Suivre ensuite un Noah tout câlin et fleur bleue est à la fois surprenant et logique, en vue de ce qu’il avait déjà montré. Et nul doute que les amateurs de romance seront ravis, car c’est rempli de petites scènes adorables dans leur quotidien de dangers au château.

D’ailleurs du côté de ces dangers aussi, on passe la seconde. On démarre avec un danger concernant Noah, dont Raeliana vient le sauver. On poursuit avec une tentative d’empoisonnement de celle-ci par sa meilleure ennemie, ainsi qu’un petit incendie bien stressant, où chacun lèvera le voile sur sa personnalité. Autant, j’ai apprécié la confiance Noah en elle, vis-à-vis de son secret, autant, par contre l’employer comme justificatif à ce qu’elle subit à cause de sa relation avec Beatrice, je cautionne moins. Il y a ici un côté grandiloquent qui passe moins bien que dans la romance, pourtant on ne peut plus clichée, elle aussi. Du coup, action on a, rivalité aussi et les masques tombent, je suis heureuse car cela fait avancer les choses, mais partagée aussi car c’est rempli de facilité et donc pas du tout crédible.

Autant, je trouve une logique entre Noah et Raeliana, autant j’ai du mal à comprendre Béatrice et Viviane. Je les trouve artificiellement mauvaises pour des méchante, le trait est trop forcé. J’attends donc dans les deux derniers tomes des explications qui tiennent un peu plus la route que ce qu’on vient de voir qui joue à fond la carte du complot mais pas de la finesse.

Tome qui joue cartes sur table, où le lecteur a le plaisir de voir la romance se réaliser mais dans un cadre de complot, certes voulu stressant, mais surtout expédié trop vite et artificiellement gonflé par des méchantes très méchantes. Cela peut être divertissant mais ça reste écrit de manière assez moyenne…

Que feriez-vous si vous vous réincarniez dans votre roman préféré… mais dans le rôle d'un personnage condamné à mourir ? C’est le terrible dilemme auquel est confrontée Raeliana, l'héroïne courageuse et lucide de cette histoire imaginée par Milcha et sublimée par les dessins soignés de Whale.

Après s'être réincarnée dans l'univers d'un best-seller, Raeliana sait que son avenir est scellé : elle est censée être assassinée pour faire avancer l'intrigue principale. Décidée à changer son destin, elle use d'intelligence et de stratégie pour survivre. Mais rien n’est simple : alors qu’elle tente de sauver Noah, grièvement blessé au Colisée, elle est poussée à lui révéler son plus grand secret — celui de son identité venue d’un autre monde. C'est sans compter sur l’arrivée tonitruante de Béatrice, la véritable héroïne du roman, dont la présence risque de bouleverser l’équilibre fragile que Raeliana avait réussi à construire.

Ce manga réussit le tour de force de mêler romance, action, humour, et tension dramatique, tout en proposant une réflexion touchante sur la notion de libre arbitre. Raeliana est une héroïne forte, rusée, mais aussi profondément humaine dans ses doutes et ses élans du cœur. Face à elle, Noah évolue d’un personnage énigmatique vers un protagoniste complexe, dont les sentiments naissants sont mis à rude épreuve.

Graphiquement, Whale livre un travail remarquable : les décors somptueux du manoir, l'élégance des costumes, les regards pleins d'émotion renforcent la richesse du scénario. Chaque planche est travaillée avec soin pour plonger le lecteur dans un univers à la fois féerique et réaliste.

Comment Raeliana a survécu au manoir Wynknight est bien plus qu’une simple romance isekai : c’est une histoire de survie, d’amour et d’émancipation, portée par des personnages inoubliables et une narration pleine de surprises.

I rate this book 4.25 stars.

I rated it 4.25 because I loved the cute lovey doves moments between Noah and Raeliana and because [SPOILER WARNING!!!] [SPOILER WARNING!!!] I love that instead of getting upset and leaving and having stupid misunderstandings between them when she saw Beatrice, she ended up confronting her right then and there. Yes! Finally a character doing something different than the annoying usual dumb stuff in romance stories and dramas (I know they claim it’s supposed to be dramatic but really it’s to waste time). The reason I didn’t rate it 4.5 stars like I originally wanted to is because when I think about this volume, I don’t remember a lot of what happened and I don’t get that feeling instantly that I usually get for 4.5 and 5 star books. How can I rate a book higher when I don’t remember much of what happened in it and when I also don’t get that feeling I get for 4.5 and 5 star books. I still loved the cute moments between them, though😊

This series continues to be a favorite of mine.

Finally, Raeliana's secrets are revealed to Noah. I kind of wish Noah wasn't so calm about the information revealed to him but I'm also not surprised either. The moment lasted for a couple of pages and moved on pretty quick. That I'm a little annoyed with because it was such a big thing for Raeliana to hide her identity, especially from Noah, and it all ends in a couple of words 🤷‍♀️

He and Raeliana are made for each other and it's so nice to finally see them be more lovey and open about it.

Beatrice is a b*tch. Vivien is also a b*tch and coward and lap dog.

Another great volume, I can't wait to read volume 8!

Wow, it's impressive how well Noah is taking everything honestly. They've been more than a little lucky so far, but is that luck running out? With both Vivian and Beatrice making moves to take out Raeliana, and now the only dark sorceress they have knowledge of to try and find answers is outright telling Noah to kill her. At least Noah seems loyal, no matter that he's now heard Raeliana and this sorceress tell him his fate was tied to Beatrice before. They really like cliff hangers at the ends of these books; leaves you really wanting the next one to know what happens.

Tenía tantas ganas de continuar la historia que la termine en un abrir y cerrar de ojos.

Me encanta como fue avanzando la relación entre Raeliana y Noah, nunca me cansare de decir que son lo más lindo del mundo.

Siento que con el final de este llegamos a un punto muy importante de la historia y realmente estoy muy emocionada por saber que sigue después.

Solo espero que Noah y Raeliana tengan su felices para siempre creo que no podría soportar que las cosas terminen de otra manera.

I cannot believe Raeliana didn’t immediately tell Noah that Vivian and Beatrice started the fire. They could have immediately arrested them for the accusation. If nothing else, Beatrice smelling of kerosene does not help her look innocent.
Even more unbelievable was Beatrice’s words to Noah. Like seriously. I cannot believe that was in the storybook called Beatrice. Did she seriously think he would fall for her at first sight? Did she not remember that in the book, OG Beatrice and Noah did not get along at first.
Oh how I wish Vivian could have seen that her blackmailer was also after Noah

Noah finally finds out the truth about where Raeliana came from as she saves his life from a grave injury with a magical item the high priest gave her.

After a few days,Raeliana and Noah have to attend a ball where Raeliana is captured by Vivian and Beatrice and left to burn. Noah knows that Beatrice set the fire but is unable to do anything yet,seeing a Beatrice is related to a member of high society.

At the end,we have the introduction of Iosa Ben,a woman who might be able to help Raeliana with her soul’s inability to settle into her body.

Definitely love seeing each character growth and their interaction with each other, how easy for them to switch from serious mode to goofy meme-able scene. Oh and I really appreciated the complexity of most characters, how everyone is basically morally grey characters, their shades/spectrum is different but no one is actually innocent or pure nor entirely evil.
