I initially read this via the audiobook version, as it is narrated by the author and I love hearing an author’s work in their own voice. The audiobook is short 6 hours of listening and can easily be knocked out in one day, however, I realized after completing the audiobook that this is NOT the best way to experience this beautiful work of art. “It’s All Magic” thrives when it is digested slowly and steadily by revisiting daily and devoting time to exploring each topic and prompt. I am glad that I power-listened to the audiobook, but spending quality time with the paperback gives each topic the time it deserves to be contemplated and fully integrated into your spiritual practice. There are even 365 chapters if you wanted to read 1 chapter each morning for a year and spend the day sitting with the contents of that chapter.

I am currently 8 weeks postpartum and the concepts Aliza has written about are so eerily relevant to life right now while I am trying to find my way back to myself. Aliza really is everyone’s witchy bestie.

I had high hopes for It’s All Magic, but it ended up feeling very surface level and full of filler fluff. The book leans heavily on watered down pop astrology, tarot, and manifestation jargon, using lots of big words to sound insightful, but the ideas don’t really come together or offer much meaningful depth.

The concepts discussed feel elementary, almost like an introduction that never builds into anything deeper or more coherent. If you’re already familiar with astrology or spiritual practices, there’s not much here that feels new, practical, or thoughtfully explored.

As a daily oracle, it’s disappointing, the reflections are vague and generic, and the prompts lack substance, rarely offering anything thought provoking or useful in regards to rituals.

Overall, the content stays vague and superficial, and it left me wanting something more intriguing and substantial. That said, the tone is warm and encouraging, so some readers might enjoy it as light, feel good reading, but it didn’t meet my expectations.

Ms. Kelly delivers 365 affirmations that can be used as daily meditations. Each beautifully written entry is a pearl of wisdom seamlessly strung into a spiritual rosary of sorts, a treat for the senses simultaneously engaging the mind. It’s the perfect read to accompany plans for self-renewal, New Year’s resolutions and the like.
What sets Kelly’s book apart from other books on personal transformation, astrology, magic or self-renewal is her literary prowess. I was truly floored by the beauty and wisdom of each entry. If Kelly uses the word “flower” in a passage, guaranteed you will smell a rose or Lilly; her descriptions are vivid, alive.
Each meditation is a portal inviting spiritual awakening and deeper thought. And even if the reader doesn’t do a deeper dive, on face value each entry provides practical advice for enhanced daily living. This new book by Kelly is a real achievement.

This is great for everyone

I really enjoyed reading this book each day for the last year because it was helpful. Each day the author gives a different teaching which may not apply to the reader on that day the reader reads it. In many cases what is said one day makes sense this book incorporates the tarot the means will something in days or part of the whole. There were some great lessons in this book which were very helpful in my life. I’ve recommended this book to many people

Such a cute book that has 365 prompts to "change your outlook" on a day! I'm going to use this from time to time when I feel called to do bibliomancy!

Love Aliza Kelly's outlook on everything through the universe's eyes!
