In 3066 the world is a different place. Massive coronal ejections, nuclear fallout, and chemical poisons have reshaped the land. New life forms have evolved at an accelerated rate into creatures God and nature had no hand in playing. A few remaining settlements of mankind struggle to re-establish civilization. They’re failing.

But beneath the ground, buried deep in a lost and long-forgotten installation, humanity’s ancestors are about to awaken. The freaks, mutants, and horrific monsters roaming the blasted earth above are about to discover what real terror is all about.

About the author

Geoff was born in beautiful British Columbia and moved with his parents, three sisters, and two brothers to rural Manitoba before his first birthday. Since then, he has endured the extreme seasons in a way that only centrally located Canadians can appreciate.

I grew up on comic books and bad television from the seventies. It helped to develop an already over-active imagination to the point where I created my own series of comics featuring dozens of wacky heroes and ridiculous villains. I've also dabbled in cartoon strips and have been a regular contributor of political cartoons to a number of local newspapers. Throughout the years I realized my passion lay more in writing than in illustrating, so the 21st century has seen me make the transition from drawing funny pictures to writing full-time.

A totally different angle to the end of the world genre. This one was original in the way that it was presented even though the idea wasn't't original. The writing was pretty good, story idea was interesting, and the characters were decent. In my opinion, this was a good read.
