Mountain Escape

Rate this book
Four years ago, Amelia ran for her life. She took her newborn son, changed their names, and fled her home, her husband, and the only town she'd ever lived in. Amelia finds herself hundreds of miles away on a beautiful Montana ranch nestled on the side of a mountain. There’s just one small problem. Her new boss is a cocky asshole! He's hot as sin, and he knows it. From the first moment she meets him, he's hot and cold. Thankfully, she finds a great friend in his brother! But there is something about her new boss and his brother. They’re not as innocent as they let others think they are. They own this high-end club she accidentally runs into on her first evening in Montana. It’s not just any club, though. This club is full of all kinds of naughty things. Now, not only does Amelia have to deal with this sinfully sexy man as her boss by day, but she also has to deal with the vivid dreams of them together at the club while she sleeps.Greyson had no idea who he hired to help around the ranch. He posted the job online and hired her via email. Now, this woman is here, not only cleaning the ranch, but she's also cooking for him and his ranch hands. Of course, his brother likes her, and purposely uses their friendship to drive him insane. He can't decide if he wants to yell at Amelia, kiss her, or bend her over his knee. Who is he kidding?! He wants to do all three! The night she gets lost and ends up at his club changes his life forever. He’s still undecided if it’s a change for better or worse. Can she fight the pull he has on her? Will she be able to keep her identity a secret, and keep her and her son safe? Can he stop fighting and let her in, or will they both go up in flames?

such a beautiful story!!!

This story was relatable and beautiful! I teared up, laughed, and kicked my feet! Amelia is the type of female character I love in a book! Strong, courageous and confident! And Greyson is the ultimate grumpy sunshine! Loved this story and the meaning of it! And Easton and colts relation just melted my heart! Coming from trauma doesn’t have to be the end! So beautiful! Definitely recommend, check triggers but it’s definitely worth the read! Thank A.L. Moore for allowing me the opportunity to read your work!

Hooked right away

Right away, this book had me hooked, I had to make myself put it down and sleep. It is a quick read, so it is not super detailed, but the story is very well told and captures you.
Amelia has a very dark past and is on the run from her ex, trying to keep her life and provide a better one for her son. Greyson is an absolute gentleman who wants nothing but to spoil and shower Amelia with love right from the beginning.
This story had me smiling, laughing, and tearing up. That ending makes everything perfect.

So I’m usually a dark romance girly but my Facebook friend asked me to read it! I decided to definitely give it a try.

It’s my first ever cowboy romance I’ve read and I wasn’t disappointed.
It’s a short read so the book is more fast paced, but definitely focuses on the most important parts. I won’t go into details with spoilers but if you’re looking for something to start getting into the romance books this is a great book to start off with!

Flirty

As much as I love romance I haven't been big into cowboys. But my friend, the author, asked me to read it for her. I absolutely loved this book. It's fast paced, which is possibly caused by the time skips written periodically. Watch the TW though; DV, kidnapping, drinking, and death. Good short read

I loved this book! Although it touches on domestic violence it’s written in such a tasteful way. I love the banter between the brothers. This book had me laughing out loud at times. It also had me in tears at times. It’s a great quick read that will melt your heart!

Cowboy romance

I absolutely loved this book! The main characters were so easy to love and the story takes you through all the emotions. I can’t say much without giving spoilers, so if you like a cowboy romance, give this a read.

3.5 ⭐️ I really loved this story!! Amelia and her son Colt are on the run from an abusive husband. She has been on the run with Colt for 4 years. He was only 2 weeks old when she got out. She comes to a small town in Montana where a ranch is hiring for a cook and housekeeper. She gets the job and her boss is a handsome cowboy named Greyson, he and his brother Easton own the ranch. Greyson has a rule about dating no staff but he is enamored by Amelia. He cannot get her out of his head and the banter between Greyson and Easton is top tier. Amelia has her sassy self as well. I could tell this was a book by someone who is a newer indie author. There were several grammatical errors, but as I was enjoying the story I easily overlooked, I mean who doesn’t make mistakes? I make them everyday 🫶🏻

Pick a name

Was the sister’s name Isabelle or Emily? That got super confusing super quick. Story was great. Loved the protective, loving men.
