This is a good overview of animation, it covers history, techniques, and specific examples. it does go into some depth so this skews more towards someone who is a student or a reader with a desire to know more than the casual enthusiast. If one is looking for a broad overview that allows the reader chances to explore topics that require a bit more research outside the book to grasp the concepts, the. This book is relevant to you. I enjoyed the aspect of researching as I came across content such as I would come across artists, techniques and history I wanted to learn more about and this book gave me a good platform to start along with me continuing to search outside the book as well.
