Disappointing

This book series could’ve been amazing but the author fell short in world building and relationship depth between the main characters of the “Covenant”. I stopped after the second book. Honestly, I should’ve stopped after the first. This book was listed as a reverse harem, however all three men fell short in how they treated as if she is an afterthought. This book should’ve been listed as a harem, because Jaxon is the only one treated as a the center and with the respect Mia deserves but never got. I think the storyline is promising but the way the author wrote it was tragically awful.

WOW what an amazing group of characters

This is the first book in the Immortal Passions series and oh my! It doesn't read like a first book in a whole knew world - the writing was smooth, the characters, their backstory and their growth was well thought out and easy to follow and oh my the heat level is delicious!
Cannot say how much I adored Ryker and Lucian's relationship growing - the scenes between them are exquisite 😋
I love the fact that the author dropped the entire series in one go so that I can move from the first book to the next because that ending !!

what i enjoyed about this book the most is that despite having some magical bond they use their heads to resist it. i hate how most of the time mates/bonds are used for romance building even if their strangers and here they actually pause and ask what does it mean for them to move forward with it.

the magical plot barely moved. the characters were confused. i was confused. hopefully we get more answers in the next book.

Rare gem read

While it's obvious this will eventually become a true reverse harem the way it immediately launches you into the Heartbreak between Mia and Ryker is a new twist to this genre. The coming together of Lucian and Ryker is one of the best written story lines within a reverse harem. They is true love, passion and devotion. The best part is that it doesn't minimize the depth of the love between Ryker and Mia. Cant wait to get Jaxon mixed in. Sexy, hot and spicy.

It was mostly good...

I liked the creativity of this book, but I definitely felt that the mm relationship was the most developed, and fleshed out part of the characters journey.
All the romantic scenes were with the men.
Mia was basically an ex, with a bad breakup with the male lead, who was moving on with another man.

Plot: 3/5 • Smut: 3/5 —————> This had the potential to be so good. It had all the right pieces, but absolutely wasn’t cohesive. The sword swapping scenes with Lucien and Ryker were the honest to goodness moments that held this together. Very disappointed.

So Hot!

Leia King can really write Alpha males! The heat between Lucien and Ryker is amazing. Lots of action in this book. Very well written. I heard about these characters in her immortal series and they were so compelling I had to read their story. I was NOT disappointed!

Amazing!

I'm starting the books in reading order now as I was just recently introduced to Leia King. This book really held my interest, and I finished it in less than 24 hours. I can't wait to start book 2.

I think I get what’s going on. But everything just seems to be going super fast and I’m not sure I’m following along
