With Hestia and her companions successfully escaping the Belzac Forest, what lies before them is their goal—civilization. Human civilization, though. Although a detour they hadn’t planned, it was now time for a young dragon to adapt to the expansive world of Peolynca outside her birthplace.
Not only to its social customs, laws, and culture, but also to the growing number of eyes belonging to more than just monsters. The strong will attract the strong like a magnet, while the opportunists will look at this budding girl with interest.
Meanwhile, in the heavens, the fire god, Danterno, gazes down from his fiery throne, his eyes locked onto this growing flame in defiance of his fellow deities.
All these events cannot compare to the emotional turmoil haunting Hestia as she strikes out on her debut. A coming-of-age moment for an aspiring idol as she fulfills her promise to bring smiles to those around her.
Book 3 in this LitRPG Series about an underdog rising up to be the idol her new world didn't know it needed. Hestia may start small, but one day her power will match her determination.
So, first two books were fun but this one suffered from a complete lack of anything really happening at all. The sense of adventure completely disappeared, most of the plot lines just disappeared. The second half of the book was a slog to get through-all for an idol concert which should have just been a stepping stone in building the mc's confidence and furthering the story, not a grand finale that sacrificed the rest of the book to exist.
No big goods other than the slip up with her mage master's gender, and an absolutely endearing story. I just wish the author would stop mucking about and have the Heroes collide with Hestia already! Are they going to brawl or are they all going to get slapped down by Saori???
Lovely ending to the book. Loved how they got so close to the hero group. Hope they meet up in the next book. Maybe there will be a flashback or something with the count talking and make dropping saori and catching their attention.
The story is an improvement from the last one, if the general tone is something you like this is a five star book. The lack of progress in a solid direction makes this a three star for me.
Not as much action as the past books but it really moved the story along with Hestia learning more about human society and how to get by as a noble. Can’t wait for the next.
