Foot reconstruction has given me time to be more reflective and allowed me time to think seriously about making meditation a regular practice. This book is an excellent guide for meditation practices. I particularly liked his beginning chapters on right behavior, guidelines for thoughts and deeds. Pritz drew together several philosophies, including Christian, to illustrate the rules of behavior. Although my own religious belief as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, differs in some respects, so much of it was fundamentally the same. I actually had to own this book as a reference.

Quitting this book halfway through in favor of the self-study lessons from Self Realization Fellowship.

Me: I know it's ridiculous of me to say, but this book is a bit too religious-y for me...

Husband: Too "religious-y" for you is any amount of religiosity. I mean you do have a picture of Baphomet as your phone wallpaper.

The illustrations are rill bad tho.
