He tried to take on as much of the business as he could so that his brother could enjoy his family, the one he so very much deserved. Then his brother asks him to go to Vegas for him for the business. But to take a date otherwise his ex will try to get the wrong impression.
Destiny is at a crossroads. Her mother is ill and all she can afford to send to her brother in a few hundred dollars. The worst of all is her boss wants to test out the "goods" and if she doesn't she can be fired.
The he meets Destiny at the club he attends. He is attracted to the woman who serves them but she seems to prefer his friend/bodyguard. Why? When she asks him if she can help with anything he comes with an idea. As he's sitting he invites her to sit with him. Then her boss comes over and tries to throw him out. The owner, who knows Marat, can not belief the idiocy of the manager. He gets fired and Destiny is cleared schedule wise to help Marat. He wants hher. So he manipulates her into a marrying him. When she finally wakes up she finds she's married. WHAT?! HOW!?! What is she going to do now? How will they be able to co exist when back in reality land? Will he still want her when everyone else seems bent on breaking them apart?
A fascinating look at a man who knows what he wants and will do anything to get it.

Ahhhh!!! Another great find! I absolutely devoured this book!!!! I started it around 6:45 pm last night and finished in about three hours! It had all the great things…. A plot that kept you engaged, a strong female character with a past, a morally grey MMC who was possessive and obsessed. The spice was spicing throughout the entire book!! I entered the world that C.D Gorri created and didn’t want to leave! I will now need to read the first book and can’t wait to read the third one!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves the billionaire, contemporary romance, and grey moral characters. Also had alllllll the spice for those lovers too!!! 5 stars!

Crazy Good!

Marat Volkov has been the pretty poster child for Volkov Industries and pretty much gets what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But now that his older brother is married and has a child, he is starting to realize maybe there is something missing in his life. His brother sends him to Las Vegas to get an award for the company so he can stay home with his new baby. Marat is happy to go to sin city!

Destiny has had a rough twelve years living in Las Vegas. She went with her head full of dreams, but the reality was much harder than she was expecting. But she works hard and keeps plugging along. But lately her boss has really been putting the pressure on her to “date” him. She is getting really tired of his sexual harassment. The job pays really well and she hates to lose it, but she draws the line at what he is suggesting! When she is sent to serve in the VIP lounge she meets Marat. He is totally into Destiny, but she tells him that fraternizing with the customers is against company policy. But her boss catches them talking and tries to throw Marat out. Big mistake!

When Destiny’s boss tries to throw Marat out, he calls the owner over, who he just happens to know. Ends up her boss gets fires and he gets Destiny for the next three days. Poor Destiny just keeps getting dragged along by these Alpha males. But she decides since it’s her birthday, she is going to take Marat up on his offer of spending the next three days with him. Best birthday present she has had in the last twelve years! Things are going great until Marat decides he wants to keep Destiny and tricks her into marrying him. She is totally shocked when she wakes up and finds out they are married. She decides to go along with it because she is really falling for Marat and hopes he will fall for her in time. But Marat doesn’t think he will ever fall in love with anyone and just see’s Destiny as a possession.

These two have a lot of hard work if this relationship is going to survive. Marat is totally there at night but pretty much dumps Destiny during the day. Guess it never occurred to him she might not be happy and leave him. Great book full of lots of emotions, action and a little danger thrown in at the end!.

Two brothers Marat the face of their industries, Adrik the brains behind the business but he is married with a daughter makes an executive decision to spend a little more time with his family especially after all the work so his brother Marat steps up to take the rings of the company. Starting with a request to head to Vegas for a business meeting with a warning to take a date to keep his ex. away from him. Destiny is doing all she can to keep her family together hardworking cocktail waitress with dreams bigger than her tips can cover because most of what she works she is sending her brother what little she can for their sick mom, she doesn’t mind the work but her boss refuses to give her hours until she allows him to be with her of course she refuses but she sees the sexy man that sits in her area upon his request she rolls the dice as they might do in Vegas and one night. Marat didn’t let her in on all his plans because he knew from the moment he met her she belongs with him so the magnetic pull between them is off the charts between the two of them giving in isn’t that hard but when they wake up finding out they are legally married but she is afraid wondering what she will do now, is it fake or does he really want he, can he convince her his playboy ways are over wanting the one women that managed to hook his heart, will she accept him, will he family be okay, and will they find happiness in a Vegas marriage?

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 2nd in the Wild Billionaire series and ends in an HEA for the couple. This book is all about the flirty playboy, Marat. The first part of the book has scenes with Marat and Adrik and Sofia post HEA. I adore those kinds of peeks into the past books. Marat has some internal dialogue showing the reader he is more than just a pretty face. He is a ruthless businessman, happy, yet jealous of his brother’s happiness. Marat’s HEA begins in Las Vegas. Marat sees a cocktail waitress and is surprised she isn’t taken in by his looks. Now waitress, Destiny, is on Marat’s radar.

>Marat is very single-minded. He is ruthless, yet caring. He is immediately fascinated by Destiny. I laughed out loud when she thought he was gay! There is a wedding scene that I wondered at the realism, but it was clever at any rate. Marat marries Destiny right away. Destiny spends the rest of the story proving herself to Adrik and Marat. I would have liked to see some scenes of Destiny chased by paparazzi or encountering more of Marat’s exes.

>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. I love how Destiny is curvy yet has no self-esteem issues. The author told a few of the scenes twice, using both protagonist’s POV. The insight was interesting, but this repeating of scenes slowed the book down a bit.

CD Gorri continues her Wild Billionaire series and it's captivating! A love story that grabbed me from the start, Destiny and Marat are meant to be. Marat is the face of Volkov Industries, and is quite the social butterfly. Keeping clients happy is key. When in Vegas though, he goes out just for him and finds Destiny. Destiny came to Vegas with hopes of fame and fortune. Those dreams are a bust, but Marat seeks her out at the club he's at and offers her a night of passion. Little did she know where it would go. This is so much fun! Marat is quite the alpha, and I love how once his heart was involved, he did whatever he had to, to keep her, and boy did he ever get to keep her! Destiny is shocked at exactly what has happened to her life, but the draw of her heart to Marat is unbreakable. Gorri gives a sensual, passionate take on the couple and then goes and adds the suspense and danger! Love it! This is a fabulous listen and I can't wait for the next one!

Ri Paige and Michael Norman Johnson continue the narration of this series and they are a fabulous duo. Together, they grab the essence of the character and bring them alive. Paige gives Destiny a bit of sass, fear, and love! She is amazing. Johnson is the over protective, overbearing Marat, and he is too easy to fall for. These made this listen and look forward to more collaborations by them.

This book was decent, but largely forgettable.

Marat is essentially a playboy who has been largely sheltered by his big brother. Oh, sure. He’s done some bad things, but not as much or as bad as his brother. He’s not as hardened and jaded. He also seems to have a preference for skinny blondes, but somehow falls into insta-lust with the curvy FMC. Apparently, she’s his actual type.

I did laugh at how he got her to marry him. He took full advantage of the fact she’s hard to wake up in the morning, and was still half asleep when he got her to sign the license and say “I do”.

Other than that, and her becoming Sophia’s book narrator, I can’t remember much about her.

In my review for the first in this series, I said it felt like a fan fiction. Same goes for here. The MMC is written as mainly been sheltered from most of the Bratva ways of his brother, yet he goes overseas and shows everyone how badass he is. To the point they call him “Devil Wolf”. It’s like the author decided, near the end, that she’d throw that part in just to make sure everyone knew how “badass” and “alpha” he could be.

Also, what is with all the epilogues? Why are there 4 in this book? If you want the info in, just write a longer story. Don’t shove everything into the epilogue. 4 epilogues are overkill. One of them is the MMC from the next book. Fine, I can accept that. But I do t need 3 from the current couple. Have one that wraps it all up. 4 total is excessive and unnecessary.

Talk about HOT, that Marat is something else! With the body of a greek god and the face of an angel, this man could have had any woman he wanted but there was something about the club’s curvy little waitress that called to him. Could he have with Destiny what his brother Adrick found with Sofia? He’d thought he would never have that for himself but his little Dumplin’ is making him want it anyway.

Destiny was having a horrible birthday! Having to work in a ridiculous corset with the underwire poking through, skintight pants that left nothing to the imagination and high heels for a double shift, all under the eyes of her slimy boss who’s trying to coerce her into sleeping with him… would the night ever end? That was, until she met the most gorgeous man she’d ever seen with the face of an angel but as tempting as the devil himself. And somehow, he’d chosen her? She was no fool, Destiny knew his sweet words weren’t real but she was determined to enjoy the time she had with him but what happens when her perfect night is over?

Oh my gosh, I loved this book; it was good and steamy, had plenty of mafia action with a little danger thrown in and two MCs that belonged together, no matter what it took for them to get there. 5 steamy stars!!.

This was such a fantastic book to read, the storyline was amazing I couldn't put the book down and the characters were really sensational. The story was suppose to be a one-night stand Destiny Valdez is a beautiful curvy lady that left home when she was a young teenager, then when she was found her parents didn't want her, so she went to Vegas to work and live there. She turned up to work and the boss was not happy then he made her serve a table that was not her area she nearly choked at the gorgeous guy. Marat Volkov flew into Vegas for a function not impressed that he had to go except as soon as he seen her he knew he had to have her. It was mesmerising I'm glad I had a glass of water the amout of body friction intensified until they couldn't for the next day didn't turn out to be a walk of shame. Destiny was shocked what she was told, I felt I was there in the story with the hair standing up and the Skin with goosebumps. I cannot wait for the next book, waiting patiently.

I love how this author emphasizes how far Marat Volkov has fallen away from his former hedonistic way of living. She reiterates the details without ever losing the readers connection. She builds the interest, piquing the readers addiction to her plot game. She reiterates Marat’s backstory while showing how and why he’s become bored with his life. A ship without a rudder. Destiny is a beautiful young woman that unexpectedly triggers a possessive obsession in Marat. She’s unique to his world and suddenly he’s obsessed with her, determined to keep her…never letting her go. Bottom line: this was so well conveyed, showing Marat’s character flaws, his selfishness and spoiled life and brings him face to face with an unselfish angel that sees Marat’s damage. The only downside is the editing issues, few though they may be, are so blatant. It’s surprising they were caught. For instance, Destiny’s wardrobe description changes from a dress to pants and a blouse in the same paragraph and that’s just one of the issues.

This Book 2 in The His Wild Temptation Book Series has a story that is more gripping than the first one. They meet on her Birthday and Destiny is not having a good night because her boss is trying to make it even more difficult for her due to rebuffing his advances for a long time. She does something out of character, she thinks she is having a one-night stand with a super hot, muscular, protective, Alpha man. I love how Marat decides she is his and decides he is going to keep her. He takes drastic steps to keep her near him due to his obsession, and how she goes along with his plan. Marat starts to pull away during the day, but is different at night. How long can she live with him changing how he treats her, especailly seeing how his brother treats his wife. He finds out she is danger, can he get to her in time. There is action, adventure, twists, turns, danger, forgiveness, love and HEA.

This book is the second in the series and is centered around Marat, Adrik's younger brother and Destiny. These two have built themselves so many walls to protect themselves that sometimes you're not sure that even they realise that all those walls are there. Marat is cautious generally but throws that aside for one night. The result is that he has no idea how to cope with his new feelings. He seemingly blows hot and cold as his head and heart battle for supremacy. Destiny is a sweet lady with a caring soul. She does have a lot of self-doubt which is not helped by the way that her boss treats her. Her past was not the happiest and her dreams have all slipped away from her. She cannot see that there could ever be more than the one night with someone like Marat. What is there left to be hopeful about?
As ever this is a captivating tale and I had to read it all in one go as I could not wait to find out what happened.

Marat and Destiny

The narrators did a good job.

Marat is Adrik's brother and the face of the company. He is a player who finds himself a little jealous of his brother's relationship with Sofia. Needing a date to a gala he finds Destiny a waitress at a bit of a sleezy club. There is an attraction and what Destiny thinks is one-night finds herself married. Between paying rent and giving money to her brother for her mother's medical care she is drowning. When she finds out she's married she throws caution to the wind and decides to stay married with a few rules. Marat is just as possessive and dominate as his brother. Love how Destiny has a backbone and doesn't cower when some jealous and curious people try to belittle her. Destiny finds herself a pawn when some people come seeking vegence. I found listening to this entertaining and hot. Look forward to the next book in this series.

This book takes place a few years after His Wild Obsession and since Marat is Adrik’s brother we got some amazing cameos of Adrik and Sofia which was amazing!

This is a case of what happens in Vegas does NOT stay in Vegas!
Destiny is absolutely amazing and I love her! She rolls with what happens and after working in Vegas for so long when she learns more about the Volkov brothers she isn’t really surprised and doesn’t let it color how she feels about Marat, because she knows who they are underneath their brooding and intimidating looks 🤣
Marat and Destiny together were just so good! There’s even a “touch her and 💀 moment” which was amazing!

This was a page turner, and I loved getting more of Marat, getting to know him better and what makes him tick!

These Volkov brothers are made of something else and I cannot wait for Josef’s book I think it’s going to be explosivye!!

I’m so excited I was able to ARC read this! I cannot wait to get this baby on my shelf!!

C.D. Gorri has done it again! His Wild Temptations is so good that I stayed up all night reading, unable to put the book down. The story is captivating. I loved every bit of it.
Marat is guarded man. He kept his heart and feelings close. So close that he almost lost the one woman that broke through his walls and melted his icy heart.
Destiny is a kind, sweet woman that had it rough after she ran off with her best friend when she was young. She never believed that a man as sexy and wealthy as Marat could ever want her until he, came for her and killed to protect her.
This book is action packed, drama filled, has some mention of violence, lots of off the charts steam, a grumpy playboy, a strong curvy woman, an example of a close nit family and one of a dysfunctional family, and HEA.

The audiobook is done so well. Listening to the two narrators, Ri Paige and Michal Norman Johnson, makes the story come to life. Anyone who listens to steamy audiobooks should have this one in their audio library.

Delicious Addictive Read

She was certainly his Wild Temptation from the moment he set eyes on her, he wanted her and before she knew what was happening, he’d claimed her as his wife!

Destiny didn’t understand the world Marat lived in, her world had been full of heart-ache and when Marat took matters into his own hands what was a girl to do but could a girl destined to love this man accept that he could never love her?

This is one super hot, steamy erotic sizzling emotional read. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other but when reality stepped in, could he save her in time?

Highly recommended swoon-worthy read will wonderful characters and a HEA that will touch your heart.

Oh, Marat. In reality, he’d be a walking, talking, breathing red flag. But who cares?

Marat meets Destiny in a high end club in Vegas where she works as a waitress. He is instantly obsessed. He must have her. Destiny, a gorgeous plus size beauty is all he can think about. Marat tricks her into marrying him because he just has to have her. Destiny doesn’t mind. lol

Marat has never told anyone that he loves them. Destiny is afraid his interest in her will one day fade and she’ll be left alone, heartbroken.

This is absolutely worth reading. It’s another quick and deliciously spicy tale of two people who can’t keep their hands off of each other and eventually find their HEA.

Destiny has gone through some rough years and has some serious insecurities which has her not afraid of marriage but in Marats ability to truly want her.

This is a fast and very cute story that had some humor, suspense and emotion that I definitely recommend reading. I can't wait to read the next book in the series especially with how much I liked books 1 and 2.

I loved His Wild Temptation: A Billionaire Romance Novel Book 2 of Wild Billionaire Romance. Marat didn’t want to be tied down like his brother, he’s happy loving the single life. While traveling to Las Vegas he finds himself drawn to Destiny. Destiny hasn’t had an easy life, she’s working hard to send money home to her ailing mother. She deserves a night of fun and allows herself one night with Marat. Where she’s looking for one night of fun, he’s got plans on forever. Unfortunately, this relationship won’t work if he isn’t open to falling in love. I loved the storyline and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

He apparently understands that he has a bit of a problem with boundaries, but that doesn't stop the outrageous things he does.

I found Destiny to be a bit of a whiner. I just rolled my eyes when she decided she had to leave Marat, even though the sex was great and he gave her everything, because he said he didn't think himself capable of loving someone. Boo-freaking-hoo.

I was so excited for the second book to His Wild Obsession and it did not disappoint. If you thought Adrik was impulsive and possessive then buckle up because his younger brother Marat takes it to a whole new level. The book was steamy, fast-pasted, emotional with a HEA that both characters absolutely deserve.
If you love a gorgeous MMC absolutely worshipping his short curvy FMC’s body then you MUST read this book. It will make you feel all beautiful and sexy yourself. Trust me. 😉

This first book by C.D. Gorri that I have read and I have been missing out. I couldn't put down 'His Wild Temptations' and ended up reading it all night. The story is captivating, and filled with action, drama, and steam. Marat is a guarded man who almost lost the one woman who broke through his walls. Destiny is a kind woman who never believed someone like Marat could want her. The book has both close-knit and dysfunctional families and a happy ending.
