We back in Valor Mc and it's Sheps turn to find his one and shes alittle different when he spots her in Roosters Diner looking for a job he makes sure Rooster isn't hiring so he can keep his lil Lamb close to him. At his work. Ainsley is new in his town and he knows she running away from something so he keeps her close and makes sure no one bothers her.

There relationship is slow at first because she is tiny skittish and believes a guy like Shep wouldn't want a curvy girl like her since he runs a GYM. Oh boy he proves her wrong when he takes her on a date and shows his brothers she's his. But they also have to deal with Ainsley overprotective uncle who she ran away from it doesnt stop him from claiming her.

The uncle gets his story in another series with the best friend in Nichole other universe :).

No ow/om drama (unless you count that Bar scene with a mc brother trying to flirt with her), no cheating, Slight secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

Stars: 4
Length: Novella/Full Length
POV: Dual
Series: Men of Valor MC (Stand Alone but loosely connected)
Ending: HEA
Re-read? Maybe

“I scowl, instantly wanting her skin against mine again. Snatching her hand back would probably make her jumpy. I kind of want to do it though. I like touching her. Plus, there are other men here. If I'm holding her hand, they know she's off limits. It's a win-win.

I’m a huge fan of Nicole Rose. If you read my reviews then you know that she is one of my very favorite authors. I liked this steamy read but it wasn’t quite up my alley. I’m not really a fan of motorcycle club books, they just aren’t my style so that’s probably why I’m not head over heals in love with this one. That being said, it’s still good.

We have Shep and our little runaway, Ainsley, in this story. It’s insta-love/lust for them both and Shep gives her a job at his gym to help her out. The two dance around each other for weeks before finally coming together and Shep is determined to protect her from her past and make a life with her.

Frankly, I’m more interested in Ainsley’s uncle’s Justice and her best friend, Milan’s story. I’ll be reading that one soon as it’s part of the Billionaire’s Club series from Rose.

This was definitely a hit for me. Nichole Rose nailed the MC story keeping it interesting and safe. Instalove at its finest! I thought the author did a great job of endearing the club brothers as well. She painted a good portrait of the brotherhood they shared rather than the sketchy/skanky side of a MC.

Shep was a great hero. He was mature, protective and so loving towards Ainsley. He was the kind of hero I love. He was not a manwhore and once he saw her he was done for. He wanted everything with Ainsley that he never had growing up, family and stability.

I’m usually tough on heroines but I just adored Ainsley. She was kind and sweet. Having been sheltered her whole life, most things seemed new to her. I loved her maturity and the fact that she didn’t push Shep away or play games.

-no cheating
-no ow drama
-om drama - a prospect from the club tried to hit on her not knowing she was taken. He touched her face but was very removed from the situation. He was definitely remorseful after he realized.
-virgin heroine/ hero celibate for years
-older man/younger woman
-no violence of a sexual nature
-Epilogue 5 years out.

I've been flying through this series; each are short, insta-love standalone stories following the Men of Valor MC. Ainsley and her uncle Justice was briefly mentioned in The Billionaire's Big Bold Weakness and so I was excited to see that Ms. Rose's next book was her story.

I really enjoyed Ainsley and Shep's story. Although they came together pretty quick, there was still a brief 'getting to know each other' period. Shep was clearly alpha and possessive but so thoughtful and patient with Ainsley. This was a sweet read and I really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this and especially The Billionaire's Big Bold Weakness.

The couple: Shep and Ainsley

Romance genre: MC-lite; insta love
Series: Men of Valor
Length: 114 pages

Plot: Ainsley is on the run from something, and that sends her to the local bar looking for a job, where she meets Shep, who is instantly smitten. He offers her a job at his gym, which she takes. She doesn't know at first, but will soon find out, that Shep will do anything to protect his girl, and he'll have the whole Men of Valor MC behind him.

Commentary: I loved this story. Shep is a great hero, growly and sweet and jealous and possessive. He would never let anything hurt Ainsley, no matter what. I also liked the peek into Justice and Milan's story. I also love that with a Nichole Rose story, I know I'm getting a story focused on the couple, with no cheating and a sweet resolution.

Next book in the series: Broken Ride

I have no idea why I read this. It was mediocre at best and really needed another read through by the editor.
I’m sure there are loyal fans of Nichole Rose, but this wasn’t my cup of tea. Thankfully it was short. Thought I had a decent MC read on deck but my expectations fell flat.

Every time I read Nichole’s book I think “these two are my favorite”. Then I read her next book and have the dilemma of the same thing! And Ainsley and Shep were no different. I love how sweet Ainsley is and how protective Shep is of her. Nichole’s writing is amazing and I love that each couple always has nicknames. It’s these little details that bring each couple to life. Read Easy Ride and then go read everything else by Nichole as well.

Ainsley is the sweetest, kindest, sexiest character that I've read so far. You get to see the world through new eyes. Shep sees her and he decides then and there that she's going to be his. I think that this is my favorite story of the Valor MC's. There some drama, lots of action and plenty of sizzling steam. Shep and his Little Lamb are fantastic characters. I am really going to hate to see this series come to an end. It's been a fun journey. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved this

Ainsley is running from her Uncle and the glass cage he puts her in. Ainsley’s parents where killed when she was young and her uncle took her in but because of her parents death he keepers her safe and the only way of doing this is keeping her in a cage she can’t go anywhere without his guards she only has one friend because of this. Ainsley ends up in Valor and when Shep gives her a job she is excited it’s all new to her.
Shep sees Ainsley when she comes into the local diner looking for a job Shep has this need to protect but also possessive but he can’t act on any of this but he can have her close to him by giving her a job at his gym. Ainsley has curves all in the right places and is driving him mad also he knows she is running from something hopefully Ainsley will tell him as she gets more comfortable with him and he makes her his.

Sometimes when you run you can find home.

I loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with a dash of suspense. The characters were interesting and likable. Shep was wonderful and I have decided to keep him as my new book boyfriend. He was completely sure about Ainsley the moment he saw her. Ainsley was attracted to Shep but couldn’t believe that he would be interested in her. Shep did a great job trying to give her time to get to know him and become comfortable with him. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

All it took was one look, and I was hers.

I really enjoyed this one. Love a man that is possessive and obsessed with his girl right off the bat but at the same time, knows he is hers and only hers just as much as she is his. He had no trouble showing his devotion to her or his softer and sweeter side in front of his brothers. After all, they all got hit by that same love bus recently.

I absolutely love Nichole Rose’s books and this was no different.
It’s another hit from her, with everything I love about her writing.
It’s got that instantaneous, soul mate kind of love between the two characters, an alpha male who’s so sweet and tender with his girl, helping her grow and keeping her safe. It’s got a curvy girl with heaps of inner strength to balance out the sweet innocence she exudes. It’s got gentle comedic relief in the form of Ainsley being absolutely freaking adorably innocent and asking cute questions. It’s got passionate sex where the man isn’t afraid to get rough to show his possession and love, claiming her with his every touch.
And most importantly, it’s got good writing and a sappy, sweet ending that really hammers home the HEA they share even years later.
It was everything I could’ve hoped for and I wish I could say the same for most of the other books in this series.
I think there’s really only a few books in this series worth anyone’s time, sadly. Cameron Hart’s, Dani Wyatt’s, this one, and Lana Love’s. The rest of them I either couldn’t make myself finish because I disliked the writing so much, or finished but just wasn’t that happy about it. Definitely precede with caution. Maybe stick to the few good writers on the list and leave the rest because they’re all standalone so it won’t affect your reading experience if you don’t know what happened in the previous book.
Definitely read this book though, it’s great, and I love that a lot of Nichole’s books have character cameos from her other books. Can’t wait to read the next book she releases.

SO. MUCH. SWOON!!

Wowwww! Just when I think Nichole rose can’t get any better, she goes and blows my socks off! This book was KILLER! It was the right combination of growly, dominant, alpha male and the gentle, shy and innocent woman who brings him to his knees. I loved how protective and fiercely Shep loved Ainsley, his devotion to her and his willingness to wait for her to trust him even while he went about making sure she was his and safe, was all swoon. The sweetness melted by heart while steam was enough to melt my kindle.

Everything this author writes is pure magic. I want MORE just like this!! Favorite passage: “ Triumph, possession, something rushes through me, settling into place. It lights me up, tying me to her with invisible threads no one can break or shatter or remove. For the rest of my life and whatever comes next…I'm hers, the blade at her back, the wall standing in front of her, her home.”

Hero’s past isn’t mentioned except to say he’s been celibate for years. Heroine is a virgin and gives the hero the primal satisfaction and gift in claiming ALL her firsts! No ow drama, no real om except one scene where another man hits on her. No abuse or cheating of any kind. HEA with epilogue and babies years out.

All the YUM

I had just finished reading Justice and Milan's story and had to come find Ainsley and Shep's....I was NOT disappointed.

I'm a sucker for an older man romance, add in that he is a "smidge" possessive and I'm a total goner.

This was a fast paced and instalove story with plenty of heat. Great connections to other Nichole Rose stories!

Sweet and sexy

When Shep sees Ainsley he's taken. He doesn't know what brought her to Valor but he's going to get her to stay. Ainsley doesn't want to be kept, she wants to live her life. She is a rough man, who's been through slot and knows what he wants. Ainsley is a young woman just starting life who wants to experience what shes missing.

Save a Horse. Ride Shep!

Let me start out by saying that I am biased towards all Nichole Rose books because I love each and every one she’s written. She’s Amazon one-click bait for me. But I LOVED THIS BOOK from the first page.

Shep fell in insta-love with Ainsley the second he saw her and I fell in love with Shep the instant I started reading. I just love the growly, alpha, sweet (on their women) heroes Nichole creates. Ainsley is the perfect blend of the innocent but strong heroine I love, the ones with goodness shining through, the kind who is not afraid to take on an imperfect man whose best sin is loving his woman just a bit too much.

I enjoyed the bit of suspense Ainsley’s arrival in Valor brings. She’s on the run and Shep doesn’t know what to expect from Ainsley’s Uncle Justice, when he finally catches up with her. The love and brotherhood of the Men of Valor MC shine through loud and proud when they surround Shep and Ainsley at the pinnacle of the story.

This series was great and I’m sorry it’s over. I’m so happy that Patriot is getting his own story, he deserves it after all the help he’s given to the MC! He better be patched in soon! If you haven’t read the series I strongly recommend it. It’s best if you start at the beginning, but not necessary. I’ve found a bunch of new-to-me authors to follow!

An entertaining instalove romance in the Men of Valor MC series! It is well-developed, well written, emotionally deep, funny, engaging, and steamy. The characters are likeable, sweet, and relatable; their chemistry is instant and off the charts! Definitely recommended!

A Shepherd and his little lamb😍

Shep and Ainsley are the best!! As usual Nichole Rose has written another perfect story!! There is nothing to dislike. Shep is perfect. Ainsley was willing to fight for her freedom and got a hea. I like how Ainsley ties into the new billionaire series by NR. One of the great parts about her books/series is they are all connected in some way. It's like meeting new amazing characters and getting to visit old friends❤ loved the Bonus scene!! So sweet. I definitely would have kept the deleted scene in. I wondered how Nova knew to call him and what his reaction was. I also kept wondering through the whole thing how no one ever mentioned this uber expensive brand new Mercedes convertible she's driving around while broke? I would absolutely be for putting the majority of the deleted scene back into the story. This is a totally safe story with a Hea❤🔥

Save a horse, ride a Shep

This book feels like a return to the series. There's a return connection to the MC even though it's not strictly about the MC. I absolutely love Shep and Ansley. Their chemistry is too die for and lort is the sex steamy. His possessiveness and dominance is just yummy.
I totally recommend this as a part of the series and a standalone.

I’m not a big fan of MC stories, but Nichole Rose can make anything good. I loved Shep—he was your typical amazing, protective hero that I’ve come to expect from Rose. His nickname of “lamb” for Ainsley was absolutely adorable. And I liked that despite his loyalty to the MC, he put Ainsley before anyone. It was clear that he was willing to do anything for her, which was very romantic.

Ainsley was a great character as well. I admired her bravery and strength, and her family drama added a bit of excitement to the book without it being overly angsty. I also enjoyed the resolution of the conflict. The uncle angle was quite interesting, particularly when we learned of his romantic interests. His story sounds very intriguing—I’d be interested in reading it.

Overall, another great read by Rose, and I highly recommend it to any romance lover!

Shep and Ainsley may be my new favorite couple and that’s hard to choose since I love all of Nichole Rose books! It was love at first sight for Shep who convinces his friends to not hire Ainsley when she walks into a bar one night looking for a job. Instead he offers her a job at his gym. He knows he has to go slow with Ainsley as she is skittish and clearly running from something but he was so sweet, protective and patient with her! And Ainsley absolutely bloomed in her relationship with Shep finally learning how to fight for what she wants. This book was just adorable and well worth the read (and re read)!

“Those bright eyes of hers touched something inside of me that no one has ever touched before, lit up parts of me I didn’t even know could light up like that.”

This book was amazing. A great end to a wonderful series written by so many different and unique authors. I love Nichole Rose and her stories and she did not disappoint with Shep and Ainsley’s story in Easy Ride. Their journey to falling in love is one of fairytale quality. Makes you want to move to Valor, Wyoming just to witness the Men of Valor MC’s lives.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Honestly it’s prob my favorite of this entire series. Minimal drama, solid characters, well written, plenty of alpha male and adorable female with a side of serious heat. It is hard for me to find a book by this author I don’t like, and this was no exception. It does make you want to read Justice’s story which is frustrating because it is not out yet! LOL. Definitely recommend, great end to this series.

I absolutely loved Easy Ride! Shep and Ainsley are perfect together! He is so kind to her and offers her help when she needs it. He can read her expressions, feelings and thoughts like a book. Ainsley is smart, sweet but sheltered. She brings out the softer side of him and he brings out the fierce side he knows she has inside. I love their story! I really want Patriot to have a book too!

I loved how protective Shep was over Ainsley but still allowed her to grow and be free. Shep knew she was running from something or someone but was patient and allowed her to trust him enough to share it with him. He did look into her past a little just to make sure she wasn't in danger. Poor Ainsley - she had a super over-protective uncle, who while his intentions were to keep her safe, suffocated her to the point that she ran away to be free. I wasn't sure how I would feel about her uncle but Justice proved to only care about Ainsley's well-being. Shep was a total swoon worthy Hero who only wanted to give Ainsley everything and build a family with her.

You gotta love these Men Of Valor MC members. Shep sees a woman in the diner, Ainsley, and knows that she belongs in his life. She is running from the life her uncle wants for her and finds herself finding a home in Valor. Will she be forced to return to her uncle or will Shep be able to keep her safe?
