A Dark Mafia romance.

They gave her to another. Now I'm taking her back...

Stone
My very existence was created on a lie. The man I believed I was doesn’t exist.
The only thing real in my life is her.
My sister.
When my obsession is about to be discovered, she’s taken from me and gifted to another.
I question my family’s loyalty and find it shrouded in secrets and lies.
What if they’re not my family after all? What if they’re the enemy?
I have a side to choose, and once again, I find myself not knowing who I am.
All I know is, I choose her.

Sienna
I’ve loved him from the moment I set eyes on him.
My family called him Stone because he was unfeeling, yet I saw beyond his solid structure and broke down his stone walls until he crumbled.
They stole me away from him, all in the name of La Familia.
But what if his very existence is shrouded in secrets and lies?
What if he’s not the man we know him to be?
What if he isn’t my brother after all?
Secrets have a way of surfacing. They can tear you apart from the inside out—break and destroy you—but secrets can also set you free.

This is a Dark Mafia Romance. Some scenes may be upsetting. Please see author website for content breakdowns.

It was an okay read. Nothing memorable, the H is raped off page, the h marries another guy (she’s forced to).

To be honest, for a short book, it had a tortured Hero and a controlled by father heroine. I felt bad for both MCs for most of the book.

Well… this got taboo vibe where Stone believed he was Sienna’s brother when in fact he wasn’t. I’m bot into incestuous relationship so after they knew they weren’t related and he still called himself her brother kinda bothered me a bit.

Then the fact that Sienna was married and then Stone kidnapped her from her new home there were no explanation as to when and how or even if she was divorced.

I wished for more depth to their romance and overall plot but it was just okay.

I can’t believe I missed Stone when it was first released, but I’m glad I have read it now. It’s a bit more tragic, comparatively. Stone’s story was a sad one, but I liked him and the story, too.

It’s no secret that I love BJ Alpha’s writing and how she writes the most taboo scenes in a way that draws you in and forgets the taboo (or immerses you fully in the taboo 🤤) but Stone is 100% my new favourite character of the BJ universe!

Stone’s story was one of strength, resilience and courage whilst having the most incredible smut I’ve ever read!

I will forever be obsessed with how each character from the BJ universe shows up even in some small way in new books.

Thank you once again BJ Alpha x

Sienna . Only sister of the Carrera family :) his forbidden love … the only person he has ever loved and has loved him in return …

I enjoyed this one , it was good even if i was really really sad for Stone. But the relationship and love between them was amazing, i didn't give the last star only because i needed more on page of them in the past and more of them before she went away. I just needed more to get even more attached to them.

It has taken me days to explore the depths of emotion this story evoked in me. This book will take you on a heartbreaking rollercoaster of emotions. You cannot help but love this book and Stone. He was such a thought provoking and deep character. He goes through a lot of rough life traumas. Even with all his heart break and trauma, he never allows it to break him as a person. He still finds love and joy in Sienna. He meets her in some of his darkest times and she gives him the strength and courage to not only endure his abuse, but to overcome it in ways only he could. She loved him as much as he loved her. She was his one hope for a real future and they ripped her away from him. Little did he know his life would be forever turned upside down because of it. He found something he never knew he was missing. When he takes his revenge it is the ultimate payback. You could not help but love every second of this book. No matter how many times I shed a few tears the rollercoaster ride was well worth it. BJ Alpha is simply fantastic. She has some of the best characters, that you cannot help but fall in love with. They leave you wanting more and they never leave your mind. Stone will defiantly be at the top of my list of favorite books. The story was intriguing and thought provoking. It left you wanting more. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. BJ gave us a brief glimpse of what is to come and I seriously cannot wait. It cannot come fast enough for me.

“Sometimes, we have to search inside us & follow the beat of our heart. If you listen hard enough, it can guide us home.”

When I finished this book I had tears in my eyes. Everything that was taken f/Stone, & the unimaginable things that were done to him, it was all heartbreaking. This was one of Becky’s best books ever. Secrets & Lies will forever be my favorite, but Stone’s book had a different feel to it. It was raw, heartbreaking, emotional, angsty & you could literally feel Stone’s pain & heartache. My heart hurt for him when he found Elijah, I just wanted to jump in & hug him. And in the end when his memories came rushing back is when my eyes filled w/tears. I was happy to see this broken & scarred man get his HEA- & the start of his revenge to those who hurt him. But along w/all those emotions, there was also some pretty hot steamy scenes- especially when Stone wanted Sienna to “taste” them!
But of course no book f/Becky would be complete without an appearance f/some past characters! Finn & his iconic toothpick, Bren & all his broodiness, & my other favorite O’Connell, Oscar, w/his ever charming personality! I could just imagine how much he was cringing at being in Stone’s apartment!
I definitely, & highly, recommend reading the Secrets & Lies series, & The Brutal duet (Jace & Cole).
I’m so excited to see what Becky brings us next! I want Azrael & Czar’s stories so bad! And I’m looking forward to seeing Benito get a long & torturous ending!

Magnificent!!!!!

Oh Ms. Alpha, Becky, oh thank you!!! Stone was magnificent, amazing, heartbreaking, heart healing, brutal, violent, emotional. I can be honest that I had some trepidation going in to Stone, I was not sure if I could read a super taboo book. But I do trust BJ Alpha, and her characters are always so well written and so real. I am so glad that I jumped in! Everyone who knows me, knows I love Bren, he is my most favourite character that BJ Alpha has imagined in existence. Well Stone has taken that spot. I love Stone, and I love who Stone becomes. BJ Alpha made me scream like a child on Christmas, especially when characters from my favourite Devotion series make a very crucial appearance. And when the O’Connells arrive like avenging angels, I knew everything was going to be okay. I loved Stone from start to finish, I hated having to the a responsible adult and put the book down to go to work!!! My heart broke and the brutality that Stone endured made me cry. Once again, BJ Alpha healed my soul and all is right in the world. Do not miss this book. I do recommend you read the Brutal Devotion series and the O’Connell series before reading Stone, you will not be disappointed!!!!

Bj Alpha sure knows how to keep you captivated ~ She has given us a book as hot as Hades 🔥🔥

You know those books that give you all the feels, introducing you to a group of new characters you know you're going to love? Yeah, this is one of them.
She also gives us some familiar faces to keep us updated on ~ Which I absolutely loved.

I loved this book and devoured it. It was definitely a page turner and made me feel so many things. It’s dark, packed full of suspense.
It left me feeling so many emotions.

Definitely check BJ’s website for triggers before starting Stone.

Stone is full of tragedy, heartbreak, sacrifice, longing, lust, and never-ending, soulmate-level love.
A story about facing your past, seeking redemption & finding love, solace & kindness against all the obstacles that stood in the way.

I’m so excited for more from this amazing series.

Wow. Bj Alpha has again given an amazing book. I knew Stone was going to be Keenan O'Connell from another book where Bj gave bonus chapter for Stone. Man, does this book take you for a ride. This book was heartbreaking for what Keenan has endured after getting shot as a teenager and losing his memories. I cried while reading his story. Loved the part when Keenan, aka Stone, saw Con and Ma O'Connell for the first time. This book will tear your heart out for everything Keenan went through after he was taken away. Sienna was a strong fmc who did hide what she found out some truth about who Stone real was, but that came out of a place of love to protect him. This book was hands down a 5 star book.

ENG/ITA REVIEW

ENG
Another steamy, dark, addicting story by BJ Alpha will steal your heart in a whirlwind of passion, violence and revenge.

BLURB
Stone does not remember his past. He only knows torture and pain inflicted by his own criminal family. But there's also Sienna, his stepsister, the only light in the dark. They're obsessed with each other, but their love might endanger both their lives.

Every time I delve into one of BJ Alpha's books I just want it to never end. I want more of her carefully built characters and stories, which have a great plot, an amazing fluidity and so much steam that I feel like I'm flushing all over.

In this story we get the importance of a real family and the dangers of a fake one full of enemies. We also get to know Stone's sad past, his loneliness and wounds. That's why his love for Sienna is so sweet and redeeming. Together they're a force to be reckoned with.

Can't wait for all the other volumes!

RATE: 5/5

ITA

Stone & Sienna

It has been a while since I last read a BJ Alpha book. I finished The O’Connells a while back, ending with Oscar, who I absolutely loved. After that, I read some of her other books, so when this one dropped and I realized it focused on just one couple, I had to dive in immediately.

The story begins with Stone having no memory of his past. He is trapped in a brutal world where he endures both physical and psychological trauma at the hands of men who claim to be his family, including a father he has never met. With no recollection of his life before captivity, he learns to submit and survive. The only person who truly stands by him is his sister, the one he knows he should not have. Their bond is unshakable, and she is just as obsessed with him as he is with her.

When she is married off to another man, Stone reaches his breaking point. He can no longer endure the separation and decides he has to take her back.

As the story unfolds, long-buried secrets come to light. When Bren and Oscar appeared, I nearly lost it, especially when it was revealed that Stone is actually Keenan, the long-lost O’Connell brother everyone thought was dead. Realizing this was another O’Connell book had me jumping with joy.

Stone calling Oscar Mr. Personality and seeing how much he had in common with Bren warmed my heart. But I have to admit, I kept waiting for Finn to show up and kill everyone.

The brothers’ reunion was everything. Seeing Stone’s dynamic with Con and learning what really happened the night he was taken added even more depth to Con’s story, especially knowing how much guilt he carried.

I do wish we had seen Benito die, but I am guessing that moment was saved for Azrael’s book. Azrael and Czar had some questionable qualities, but their loyalty to their sister was undeniable. Their decision to fake their deaths, move to Italy, and start a new life with their twins felt like the perfect ending. After everything Stone endured, a quiet life with his wife and kids was exactly what he deserved.

I will definitely read Azraels book when it comes out

But I still beg for a Reece..Cals sons book

I had high hopes when I read the blurb, but something was missing from the story. we have Stone and Sienna who grow up in the same family knowing that they are half-siblings who have the same father. Stone is treated like a soldier by his own family, but he is happy with the fact that he can live with Sienna. Although he knows that they are half-brothers, they end up sharing intimate moments, although Sienna must be a virgin when she gets married. After a scene in which he masturbates, quite quickly after that he takes her anal virginity and in the end they have real sex.
The family sends Stone on a mission, then when he returns he finds out that Sienna got married. After some twists and turns that you can see from miles away, he wants to take revenge and go to get Sienna back, but it takes him more than 3 months to do that.
if the author wanted to go this route, then she should have gone all the way. although Sienna thinks this about her husband at one point:

"I look up from beneath my lashes to find his smile has quickly encompassed his handsome face. “Good.” The car comes to a stop. “We’re home now. Why don’t you go upstairs and take a bath? I’ll be in bed shortly.” The giddiness behind his words isn’t lost on me."

we found out that in fact there was nothing between them because the husband was in love with someone else.
things are then resolved very quickly and the villain is punished. They get to their HEA and they are happily married with kids.

for me it is more interesting to find out what happened between Sienna's brother and the housekeeper's niece or the story between the other brother and his slave than the H and h in this story.

if it's a trigger for you, the H is raped and abused off page and he has amnesia!

I was really hoping for more story with this book. I was let down by the somewhat quick resolution to Stone's backstory. I was very intrigued with the premise given what I had read in the Secrets & Lies series and then the reveal was meh at best. Even the interactions with Stone & Sienna were just a vehicle for degradation and kink. We were told as readers there was angst and feelings, but we were never shown this. There was no character development at all and the interaction with his family(s) was pretty much non-existent.

Yes, I know what the tropes were and no, I don't read trigger warnings because I am not triggered in any adverse way other than pure disbelief and disappointment. Degradation is not a trope I am really into, but it doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that while there is a plot, it isn't explored or developed other than a few scenes that wrap it in a bow. The rest is just hard cocks and pooling panties. Seriously, how can an inexperienced young woman be aroused while her brother beats the shit out of her husband? Oh and that was after he took her a$$ with no preparation other than some spit and her arousal. I can suspend only so much of my belief and reality.

The best part of the entire thing might, might have been the bonus scene that is linked at the end of the book. Although, even with that I wish there would have been more.

Even the epilogues were not satisfying. I realize the one was a setup for the next book and as much as I would like to know Azrael's story, I just don't trust that we will really get his story. I suspect it will just be more of the same, assholes who like to degrade women and women who just take it.

I'm closing my read for Jan with a piece of art

⭐⭐Stone ⭐⭐ by BJ Alpha🥰 🥰

The book gets you from the beginning, you are absolutely stunned from chapter 1 and if you read " secrets and lies " series , you will keep wondering and waning to know if what you are thinking is right or not 🙈🙈

This book is about a world where you think getting killed is the best you can have if you are lucky enough 😞😞

Our MC "Stone " is shown as the mafia slave , the bastard son to a mafia Don 😔
Stone is fierce, raw, confident, and strong from the outside yet he is broken 💔 💔 His only light in this darkness is his half sister "Sienna" . Yet what he feels for her is no brother love and she feels the same.

Sienna is the mafia princess who can't disobey her father or brothers but since she met her so called "half brother ", she felt an emotion toward him that kept growing each day 💗 💗

Stone keeps his anger and his revange to himself and welcomes any punishment only to be near her but when they take her away from him , his true emotions comes out to take what belongs to him 🥰🥰

"How can I have endured such hell for me not to be allowed a taste of heaven?"

It's a story about agony, betrayal, brotherhood and love 🥰🥰
Every chapter was captivating and you will lose yourself with the book , I finished it so fast as I couldn't put it down 😍😍😍

⭐⭐⭐One of my favorite quotes:

"You keep my soul, and I’ll keep your heart. That way, we’ll always have a part of each other, no matter what." Said Stone

And her reply is " You have every part of me, Stone"

I fall in love with them and I'm eagerly waiting for Azrael and Cezar books 😍😍😍

Brutally brilliant… not for the faint of heart

As per the BJ Alpha way, this book is hot, steamy and spicier than a Carolina Reaper. That’s standard stuff for anything by this author. What we should also be accustomed to by now is her level of brutality in gruesome detail.

If you have a lot of triggers, in this case particularly around intimate violence and assault of a sexual nature, then you should really consider whether this is for you. There’s a lot of graphic detail of this kind of violence. There’s also retribution and revenge violence, which whilst it makes you feel better and relieved… it’s still pretty overwhelming.

As always though, BJ Alpha has created amazing characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. Stone is just so beautifully damaged yet still manages to have that sweetness to him that allows you to take him into your heart.

Sienna is so devoted to him from the moment he is dropped into her life, battered, beaten and broken. Yet she still loved him.

The twist… the big reveal… will only make sense if you have already read the Secrets and Lies series, so make sure you read those first.

And because I don’t want to reveal anything I shouldn’t and spoil it for you, I’m just going to say that I hope Azrael and Czar get their own story and that they fight the oppression and devastation that their family legacy has come to mean.

Another great book from this awesome author. If I had one criticism… it was too short. I wanted more of Stone and Sienna and their lives together.

I read one of the authors other book and didn’t vibe with her writing in there which held me back from reading this. When i found out that it was a shorter read, I thought it wouldnt hurt to try another book of hers. I wish i had read it sooner and for the other book, I still intend to go back to reading it.

How is it that the pacing and the length of the book was perfect, it didn’t drag and yet, i want more of it? I am aware that there are more books to reference the characters in this book. But it has enough information on the characters to help you decide if you want to jump into those others. If there is anything i detest when it comes to books that are interconnected standalone is when it over-introduces its characters from the other books. This one does it just fine and i can excitedly say that i do look forward to reading other books in the same world.

Im happy they got their well-deserved ending.. my heart broken a million times for Stone. With everything he has gone through, he is not as stoic as he seems. He is still full of love. As for FMC, i felt for her yearning. Her love for him oozes through the writing and you can see that she is to die for.

I cannot wait for the next books and also i look forward to going through her other work.

“Sometimes we have to let out the darkness trapped inside. That way, we let in the light.”

TROPES:
Size difference
‘My head doesn’t so much as reach his bicep, and I can’t help but love the fact that he’s so huge in comparison to me.’

Forbidden love
‘The moment I set eyes on him as a teenager, I fell for his bright-blue eyes in a way no sister should think about her half-brother.’

Torture
‘Stone is covered in scars from what my father calls his repentance.‘

Stone (age 24) has amnesia. He is a man who cares for no one, delivers savagery at its rawest, and delights in it. He was created into someone made of stone. It’s hard to read about the abuse he has suffered.
Sienna Carrera (age 21) is in control of her abusive father and must follow the rules of all mafia princess girls.

Stone and Sienna have a strong bond and are the only thing that motivates them to move on. The stolen moments are precious. The scenes are spicy for sure and I always like a virgin H.

There is a truly ‘open your mouth and gasp’ moment that left me spinning!

I loved all the O’Connell cameos ‘the Mafia version of the damn Brady Bunch’ 🤣

Azrael is not what one would expect so looking forward to his story!

It’s a good MAFIA family. The FMC and MMC were raised as siblings but its not true. Once they grow old, their feelings from each other was so strong the pull they cannot escaped. Stone has no choice but to follwe his father’s decision even it pain him to do so, what’s the catch? He will kill Sienna, and he don’t want that. He needs to protect her at all cost. I’s like they portay him to be a protector and he vow to his promises.

Time came that Sienna was married to other to seal the future of the MAFIA families, and that’s when Stone’s ligh bulb exploded. The one thing he wish but he cannot have? He went full berserck! He killed, he twisted lies and stories and made all the person wished they didn’t born, or vice versa.

The story is like a series, and its only the first part. We will expect alot more on the next book. But is it worth the read? I think, on my opinion, I will stop at this part. I can feel the hatred, the sadness of Stone, how he strive to survive his life living twitht his animals is so unhinged. It’s creepy that your father, your own blood will keep you suffer. But technically, he was never a part of the family, Stone was kidnapped, lost her memory and they feed him lies after lies. I don’t wish to be on his shoes, really.

I absolutely loved this book Stone and Sierra were freaking phenomenal stars crossed lovers who wanted each other but could not have each other. Or so they thought, fate had other ideas and each step away pushed them closer to each other. I cried, screamed and got so angry with what poor Stone went through it everything he deserved instead of the trauma he was given. The world they both grew up in was dark and heartbreaking and they found solstice in each other when they knew they shouldn't. I can honestly say I'm so happy one of the most notorious and disgusting offenders who hurt not only Stone, but Sierra as well even if it was just by being a terrifying jerk, got his well deserved punishment and demise. And I'm thankful to know that a few characters I was iffy about are not actually bad guys in the end but just a stuck in the darkness and victims of their genetics. This book ended perfectly and I can't wait to read Azrael's story next!!!

4.5⭐️ Storm was the bastard son of Benito Carrera, the mafia Don.
By his father he was treated as the low of the low, beaten & abused as long as he could remember. But he could not remember his childhood, his young memory stolen from a horrendous abusive episode in his teens. He remembers nothing prior to that.
His only saviour in life, his half sister Sienna. He would do anything for her.
Storm is made to fight as MME fighter for his brutal cruel father to earn fortunes from his continual wins but they still treat him as the lowest & if he dare to refuse or answer back, the punishments are unimaginable.
Stone is pushed to beyond even his limits when Sienna is married off without him knowing to the highest bidder & that is what causes him to break & all the secrets kept from him come crashing down ….
This is a dark twisted story & harsh mafia read it for the faint of heart but Stone will melt your heart ❤️ I felt so many lows & highs reading this but I loved it.

BJ Alpha had my jaw on the floor! I was shocked the whole book, I have read all of O’Connell brothers & this one just topped the cake! Stone had my heart breaking in those hard moments of having to deal with the pain given to him. His only light through the darkness was Sienna & boy did that have me wide eyed through the beginning because he really loved his sister. Sienna knew the world she was born into, but that didn’t stop her from sneaking into her brother’s bed at night to make sure he was safe. The story line kept me on my toes throughout, Stone really had me glued to these pages. I loved the snippets with the brothers because obviously they were my first book loves! Sienna world was really rocked when Stone came back & I loved every spicy part of it because Stone is a very dominant man but he will always take care of his beautiful girl. Can’t wait for the next book because this one was amazing!

Absolutely loved it!

Wow! I seriously don't know how to put into words just how much I loved this story. Stone and Sienna were absolutely made for each other, and you could feel their love and devotion flowing off the pages. Their story is one that will draw you in from the very beginning, have you holding your breath waiting for what will happen next, and then leave you with a teary smile at the end. Speaking of tears, this story is sure to put you through an emotional ringer. It had my heart breaking, made me so angry that I had to actually make myself calm down, and lets not forget how the heat burned me from the inside out! This is a gut wrenching love story filled with action, devotion, betrayal, and a blessedly wonderful hea!

Holy smokes BJ🔥 like omg BJ Alpha 😘😬😭🤬❤️🔥🖤 yes with all the emojis WHY because Stone just gave me so many feels it was unreal!!! I'm not usually one to truly get into truly deep with the reads and yes I have read 1000s of books and yes I do connect with them but very few make me feel deeply BUT you ma'am have done this!!! When I tell you I'm absolutely in love with Stone aka Keenan and finished this book in just a few hours is an understatement. Without giving away spoilers for those that haven't read it I will say this maybe my favorite BIGGEST plot twist, and secrets I've read in a very long time in a story. I truly didn't see coming!!! So brava ma'am on executing the perfect twist, spin to them!!! These O'Connell men sure know how to throw you for some loops

Ive been missing BJ Alphas books and was soo happy when Stone was released, I knew I had to read it straight away.
Of course this book did not disappoint, my heart broke for Stone and everything he endured and his family/life taken away from him. The forbidden love of his "sister" that he could not act on through the fear of what would come of it for her and him.
Plot drop of Stone past actually being the youngest of the O'Connells! They had mourned his loss, but in fact he had be taken and mould into a solider, and yet his worth wasn't enough for his supposed father... I cant wait to find out the fate of Benito. I assume we will find out in Azrael's book, I'd love to see more of Czar too!
I couldn't put this book down, the story didn't lull and I was engaged to the end.
I loved Stone's and Sienna's story and hope they will make re-appearances in future books.
Another 5 ⭐ read
