Diary of traveller through Arabian desert meant is letters to friends originally and originally published in Calcutta.
Defends the civility and kindness of Arabs and desert companions,and the generosity of Sheikhs.
Travel by night and rest in heat of the day.Print blurred by age but plainly written and detailed descriptions of food, water sources, places , threats and the fortitude of camels.
