The Templar Scrolls by Jim McCormick was a very enjoyable read. Not as heavy as many Templar Novels. Glen, a professorof Ancient History, is sole beneficiary of his Aunt's estate. While at the house he finds hidden in the false bottom a trunk two scrolls and a dagger. Because they have indications of belonging to the Knight Templar, he contacts Chrley, a professor of Archaeology to varify the find.

He and Chrley begin their journey to find the other two scrolls that will lead them to a scroll written by Christ Himself. Of course no religious journey involving religious secrets goes off without complications. There is the Council of Twelve who want to prevent the finding of the scroll by Christ or at least prevent it from being made public. Two dirty priests within the Vatican who are only looking after their own advancements. Taxi drivers and a lawyer who help Glen and Chrley. And of course there is the Pope, Pope Gregory, who they are able to be granted an audience with to help decide what should be done.

The Templar Scrolls is a delightful fun read. It is informative without dragging. There is a touch of romance between our two protagonists that lead to their marriage.

Jim McCormick leaves the reader totally hanging. Looking forward to the next book.
