Dent has written a needed work on how to make sure that we are allowing our theology to inform our ecclesiology and our missiology. So many times we think pragmatically first and see the mission as 'ours,' rather than 'God's'. God's desire is to redeem peoples of every tribe, tongue, and nation to himself. He uses us as his instruments to do that work in and through, by the power of his Spirit at work within us.

The first section unpacks that biblical theology of mission, followed by the second section outlining how we get to the field and once there, how to fulfill the core missionary task. The final section reminds us that we do not go alone, but are empowered by the Holy Spirit, who is always with us. This is a great read for pastors, missionaries, mission practitioners, and those looking to serve cross-culturally.
