This book dragged me in with the ad, I saw it on social media and the idea of a story about a main female character who gets involved with her teachers is so forbidden. I couldn’t keep the book open long enough to finish. The ending did feel rushed, but otherwise, solid read.

See Me After Class is an OTT, reverse harem, age-gap, medical teacher-student, romantic suspense. It was very different from Ajme's other novels. I liked it but also found it slow at times.

Dessie is a medical student who is reeling from the death of her adopted father, Oswald. She finds out he was murdered and wants to find out who is responsible for his death. In his office, she finds three names written on a piece of paper. She goes undercover at the medical institute to investigate not expecting to fall for the three professors in question.

She meets 3 silver fix professors and is attracted to them .John, Leon, and Viktor are all attracted to her, too, which lends an interesting dynamic.

While the mystery was interesting and we got some good steamy scenes, I did not feel the connection or chemistry between these characters like I normally do in Ajme's novels. This one was just ok for me.

This is the story of Dessie, who after the death of her adopted father, Oswald, discovers that his death was actually a murder. While going through his office she finds three names written on a piece of paper and decides that one of these men may have been the murder. Oswald was a wealthy man and the sole investor in a medical institute so Dessie decides to go undercover and investigate each man. She meets John, Leon, and Viktor and finds that she is strangely attracted to each man, which causes a whole host of problems while she is trying to uncover the truth of what happens to Oswald.

I will say that I usually love a good romantic suspense novel and who doesn't love a reverse harem/why choose situation when reading a steamy romance, but I found it extremely hard to connect with Dessie or even understand why she cared so much about who killed Oswald that she would upend her life but is almost instantly distracted by her attraction to these three men. I just couldn't make that make sense. I think if I had a little more back story for her, I might have been able to better understand her motivation. I enjoyed the story in general, and the ending, although predictable, was satisfying. I just couldn't relate to any of the characters and therefore I hardly cared if they worked out their relationship issues or not.

This was much more than I expected and although there’s plenty of sizzle to classify this as a romance, I found just as much enjoyment in unravelling the murder mystery and who killed Oswald Gardner. When Dessie learns her father was murdered, she’s determined to find the culprit, which brings her to the Oswald Institute under an assumed name. While I admired Dessie’s resolve, she seemed a bit naïve to think she could just walk in and uncover all the secrets, and in fact, she finds herself running into trouble almost from the start. As her three prime suspects seem to effortlessly foil her plans, she finds herself more and more desperate for answers. But as desire is unleashed, John, Leon and Viktor distract her from her primary goal with a scorching passion she’s powerless to resist. Although I’d pretty much figured out who killed Oswald long before the end, the accomplice was a big surprise, albeit this character seemed to be introduced out of the blue just to give a bit of a twist at the end. I also found it interesting that despite Oswald’s lauded ability to read people so well, he’d clearly been unaware of what had been happening right under his nose.

Her Enterprising Quest for the Truth -
Dessie’s plan was to go undercover to investigate the death of her father, but she didn’t expect her plans to take her on one heck of a wild adventure that included steamy sexual encounters with the three men she suspected. Even though John, Leon, and Viktor were intensely attracted to Dessie after spending time with her, they suspected she had ulterior motives towards them and decided to turn the tables on her, as she was always evasive when they asked her questions.

However, everything changed when they discovered Dessie’s life was in danger and they did everything within their power to not only get her back, but also her help her solve the murder of her father. Getting closure brought them closer and gave John, Leon, and Viktor the opportunity to declare their feelings to Dessie, so they could get the happy ending they deserved. I really enjoyed reading this book and finished it in a day. It was a brilliant suspenseful story, that kept me eagerly turning the pages to find out who was the culprit. I can’t wait to read more books from this author.

Dessie's adoptive father is dead, and she learns that he was murdered. So, she is determined to investigate herself to find out who killed him. This leads her to meeting three professors as she looks into them as suspects. She didn't expect to develop feelings for them. Leon, John and Viktor all want Dessie and know that she is hiding something but don't know what. Dessie is confused and this ends up with her getting into trouble that she didn't expect. Will the guys give her a chance to explain? Will they save her in time?

This is a great story that will hook you from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Love me an Ajme Williams RH book and bring in three sexy older professors. Yummy!! Dessie’s has had a hard life until she did something about it. She found a man who would become her father and her everything. When she was notified about his death it destroyed her. Even more to find out he was murdered. I love that Dessie is a strong FMC and will stop at nothing to find out the truth. So excited to have a murder, mystery, romance and steam. A dream come true. Did John, Viktor and Leon commit the ultimate crime. Or are they truly lovers in disguise.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story of Desdemona and her determination to find out who disposed of her father at the Institute. I loved her interaction with her three men, John, Leon, and Viktor. I loved the little twists and the sidetracks that I was taken on in reading this story but I had an inkling as to who was responsible for the crime about three quarters of the way through the book. I’m glad things worked out in the end and they go on to have a happily ever after. Although I would love to know if things worked out at the very end in Dessie’s search.

I really had a hard time with this book, which surprised me since I usually enjoys this author’s work. The whole premise just made no sense to me. Going after people because their names are on a list? Three people who work at the same place with the deceased? And sleeping with them to get information when they don’t even know her so they aren’t going to spill their darkest secrets. The murderer wasn’t too hard to figure out, but there was a good twist on it in the whole thing other than the twist just didn’t work for me.

See Me After Class is a part of "The Why Choose Haremland," there are 10 books in this series. Each is a standalone, this is written in multi POV of Dessie, Leon, John and Viktor. I really enjoy Ajme Williams and her harems. There are always interesting characters. This isn't your typical romance, but there are mystery aspects and it was interesting to see how it played out. Their sexual relationship was intense, add in the fact that they were all trying to figure out their feelings plus Dessie is trying to figure out who killed her father. It was a lot, and fast paced.

As I slowly have began falling in love with reversed harem books, this one was even more amazing then I thought. It contains mystery, spice allot of it you will probably need a fan. And allot of action.

I love the battle of Dessie’s determination to find her father’s murder and the same time just takes over as she is no longer in control of her mission with her suspects. But are they really suspect or will she get more answers than she thought?

You keep going back to thinking really no way? Seriously allot. It’s a must read

I enjoyed less than Ajme's other stories.

Plot was deep and thorough. The whole book was built on suspicion and a lack of trust, but they full enjoyed the steamy parts of each other. The steamy scenes were hot and made up for other parts, but I think the manipulation by every character was what kept me from getting into their relationship. It did seem a part of their characterization and ARC.

The ending was both surprising and satisfactory. Would have preferred more time in their happy moments because only the last few pages gave happy ending to the main characters.

See me after class is a reverse harem, murder mystery style book. I've enjoyed Ajme's work for a while, but with this one I did struggle a little to get into the groove. While filled with plenty of spice, the premise seemed a little far fetched. Going after three names on a list, sleeping with them with the hope of getting information from them. The twist was interesting, and on the whole it was good, but I'd not rush to read it again.

Dessie has lost her adopted father, someone murdered him, now she needs to find out who did it, and she has three mens names to start with. What will John, Viktor and Leon think of Dessie? How will Dessie deal with it, when she finds herself attracted to her suspects? I loved the mysteries, suspense, scorching steam between Dessie and her men, and how it all works out.

A Nail Biter

This book is sooooo much more the the blurb or title. I was spellbound from the first page!! The story has intrigue, mystery, suspense, action, along with an unexpected unconventional live story. The characters are interesting, unexpected, original, and complex with depth. Now the storylines are a twisted interlocking with unexpected connections!! This book is another outstanding story by Ajme Williams.

This Bookfunnel ARC is one if the best books I have read this year.

The character development was poor and the plot didn’t seem believable. There was some decent spice and sexual tension, but the entire book had me wanting more. There were also metaphors and similes being thrown out left and right which kept taking me out of the story and had me wishing this would end soon. Even though this book wasn’t for me doesn’t mean it won’t be everything you love so take my opinions with a grain of salt.

DNF at 58%. I considered not finishing so many times throughout this book and finally couldn’t do it anymore when they decided to give her an “anatomy lesson”. So many things didn’t make sense in this book from why she was trying to solve the mystery by having sex and asking to questions to the way the men behaved to he forgetting the murder mystery constantly. Wanted to continue reading to find out the murderer but 99% sure who it was by like 30% in.

Another good page turner from Ajme...
The blurb & prior reviews have detailed the story so I won't dwell on that. I did like the somewhat different age gap, reverse harem & the heroine who set about trying to to pin down the murderers of her father who adopted her. No more spoilers from me. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
