I grew up sheltered from the Mafia life... until a ruthless killer made me his new obsession.
Alessandro Rossi. Dark, brooding, and brutal. 10 years older, and powerful enough to trap me in an arranged marriage I can't escape.
The obedience he expects is shocking. I'm more plaything than wife. So why does his rough, possessive treatment feel so right?
With every shattering surrender, I slip further into the abyss. Unlocking needs I didn't know I had.
Needs I should resist.
It would be so easy to let go. But if I stop fighting, will he break me?
Alessandro
Ava's innocence is a blank canvas, and I'm going to write my name all over it. In permanent marker.
The daughter of my family's biggest rival, mine to mold into whatever shape I want.
She'll yield to me, or I'll destroy her.
I'm too messed up for love, but I'm going to enjoy reducing Ava to my desperate little toy. When she obeys, I'll make her toes curl. When she doesn't, she'll be punished.
That's all our marriage is. She's my obsession, but she'll never truly know me.
If I let Ava see behind my mask, she'll know who I really am.
And that would ruin both of us.
Corrupting Ava is a standalone dark romance novel and contains themes that may not be suitable for all readers.
Hi! I'm Luna Voss, and I have the best job in the world: turning all the dirty fantasies in my head into even dirtier novels for you to read. If you like dominant, possessive heroes, dark mafia men, 7-foot aliens, or any combo of the above, you might be in the right place.
3.5 ⭐️ I didn't know this book came out. I read book one in this series and was waiting to see what would happen with Alessandro.
He's forced to go back to the family business working for his grandfather, and he's heard he has to be married. He meets his future bride and he's shocked because there rival families he teases her but Ava wants nothing to do with the Mafia life she just wants to be far away and enjoy her drama free life but that doesnt happen when she finds out she's being forced to get married.
She runs and hides, but Aless finds her and punishes her for running, telling her she'll listen to his rules. There chemistry is hot I wish she ran away few more times but even before they got married Ava family betrays Aless family but girl Ava makes a deal because she's confused why her family did what they did and ruined her life. So better go with the monster than her family. They have a love/hate relationship. Aless warms up and pulls away a few times, which was annoying.
I did love the island chase ;) That was some fun for them as a couple. They do have drama with outsiders who want Aless dead.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, drama, sexy times, virgin gal no manwhore

You will love Alessandro and Ava - after being forced into an arranged marriage, will love develop between them, will their marriage survive? Alessandro has a dark side bought on by his childhood, but will he be able to open his heart to Ava? Both are “broken” in their own way but come together as one - fixing each other along the way.
This is my first Luna Voss book and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. From page to page, chapter to chapter, I could not put it down - you will be hooked! Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Alessandro (H) is made the reluctant heir to the Rossi Mafia family, sparking resentment among members. Ava (h), the daughter of the head of a rival mafia family, thrust into an arranged marriage, fiercely rejects traditional expectations, setting the stage for a clash between familial obligations and personal freedom. Alessandro and Av’s passionate and tumultuous relationship navigates through ultra-hot and steamy encounters, coercion, and dominance, reflecting the complex dynamics within their criminal underworld. The couple faces external threats, including violent conflicts with rival mafias, adding layers of danger and suspense. Alessandro's possessiveness and Ava's desire for independence create emotional turbulence, revealing the intricate facets of their connection. As the narrative unfolds, revelations about Ava's family history unfold, exposing a dark past that shadows their union. The couple's journey takes them from desert islands to the Alaskan wilderness to perilous confrontations, bombings, kidnappings, and betrayals, and along the way their connection deepens through an unyielding bond that forms in the face of adversity. Ultra-hot and steamy age gap mafia romance with lots of challenges, dangers, power dynamics, and intense sexual encounters, with dub con, CNC, dom/sub, bondage, spanking, backdoor play, somnophilia, stun gun play, primal play, collar/leash play, and more.
This was like reality TV in book form. The writing was really poor and cringe.. you're not reading it because it's a masterpiece, it's just a trash time waster that you don't have to think about.
I mean the dialogue scenes in this were painful at times. Lots of spicy scenes but no real depth to any of it.
Although I did think it captures the whole sub/Dom surrendering of will better than most books have, particularly during the spanking. Usually when I read those scenes, I feel quite a strong indignation towards them but I think there were a few scenarios here that really captured the transformation from defiance to submission.
The actual emotional relationship was done at light speed though, so you didn't have chance to really follow along with the characters story which is a shame as I think there was quite a strong foundation for them to build from with the sub/Dom dynamic and the difficulty of emotions outside of that.
Overall, I didn't think the book was that bad and I actually enjoyed some *new* conflicts introduced - like the MFC starting a dating app to get a rise out of the MMC.
However, there was plenty that I didn't like and there was such a variety of things thrown together, that it was too much for one book.
The writing was so-so, and I didn't care for the whole dom/sub thing, or the collar, or the primal play... Not that I have a problem with them, I just don't think they were done right... or at least it didn't feel right for the story. Again, there was just a lot to process. And it felt like it was dragging on and on forever. I almost DNFed it so I could move on to something else.
Ava had been promised to marry Alessandro. She is upset that it was done without her consent or approval. Alessandro has no desire to be married either, but he wouldn’t mind making Ava his toy. This book has a lot of plot outside the actual romance. But the romance parts of the story are pretty hot. There are several different chases that were fun and spicy. The sub/dom relationship seems to be really stable and beneficial to both. Despite the lack of obvious clues as to who was behind the murders, I was able to pick them out pretty quickly in the story.
Ava grew up sheltered from the mafia life until she is forced into an arranged marriage. Alessandro plans to make his wife bend to his will but has no plans for love. Will she see the person who hides behind the killer? Fast-paced read with intense chemistry, drama, and emotion. Great characters with lots of depth as well as an action packed with plenty of twists and turns. I loved it.
Alessandro and Ava- I wanted to love this book it was all about mafia life and arranged marriage but the things I was not about were the Dom/sub vibes and the leash and collar. I love a good kink but that is off the table for her. Loved the short chapters and both POV’s but wasn’t about the crazy kinks.
It was pretty good I enjoyed it I just didn’t really feel invested and I feel like the end the author was kinda burned out and just wanted it to be done. It was really sweet but I felt it was more lust based than actual love it felt so rushed. But I loved the representation for the dom/sub relationship. Also that in the end Ava got a chance to put up a good fight.

This was better than I expected. The female MC Ava wasn't a push over but also enjoyed being dominated. Alessandro the male MC definitely fit that role! The spice between them was muy caliente!! Definitely 5*. The story wasn't bad. I found it predictable and not at all surprised by the different revelations. All in all a fast paced hot read.
Super steamy, lots f potential triggers so do read the warnings - but I liked it. Super steamy adults only romance that is well written with great characters.

Loved this change on the norm standard arrangement marriage, loved how the characters and relationships developed and the underlying back story with its additional twists
Great read, loved the characters and pov’s. It was lacking strength in the storyline but overall it was entertaining and steamy. Can’t wait to read Dom’s book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 🌶️🌶️🌶️
The story: the plot wasn't very compelling and by the end, I was like, "So you love each other because you're sexually compatible since he's a dom, and you want to be a sub?" because, otherwise, there was no real depth to their relationship. The development of it seemed forced and forgettable. There were no exceptional moments that brought them together. Personally, I like deeper and more meaningful connections between characters.
The writing: I think a big part of why I didn't enjoy it was all the "like" by the FMC. People often write young FMCs as ditzy and basic, especially in age gaps, and the whole book tends to get that vibe and style. In that regard, the writing just didn't do it for me. "I felt feminine," "I love when he's dominant," etc. are just too general. Feminine how? That word has so many meanings and variations. Dominant in what what? Give me adjectives and word play! The other issue for me was the section breaks throughout, which were 90% unnecessary and broke up the flow. The writing style is lacking, think Wattpad or HS teen fantasy diary.
Overall: This was my first age gap and Mafia romance, and perhaps these themes and tropes just aren't for me. I plan to try another mafia romance, but I think traditional age gaps just aren't my thing, in reality or fiction.
