Ghost hunter and retired Marine, Shane Ryan, is on a mission. One by one, he has faced the ringleaders of the Endless Night. Now, the trail of carnage has led to Devil Rock… A hidden vault, buried deep within the bowels of the earth.
A terrible secret lurks within the dark shadows of this abandoned facility. But to reveal the depth of the cult’s evil machinations, Shane must face an army of deadly spirits, each more powerful than the last. And to fight these diabolical wraiths, even Shane Ryan will need a little help.
Calling on a trusted ally, Shane soon discovers that the underground base is home to the cult’s founder, a paranormal entity who is far more than meets the eye. And unless Shane can solve the riddle of Devil Rock, a terrifying destructive force will be unleashed.
But the worst part is, Shane himself may be the one who triggers humanity’s annihilation…
Literally couldn’t put my phone down and read the whole book in less than 3 days, kept thinking as I read just to the end of the chapter and I will put the book down, on the last bit I started reading due to waking in the early hours and not wanting to disturb my partner by putting a light on decided to continue to read this 9:30 the same morning my partner at work I finished the book and my first thought was is there another one, even though was book 6 (I now have to find the series to read in order) that I was reading makes a great stand alone book, I am sure it will be better once I have read in order. I feel that this is a great for anyone who likes paranormal, thriller or horror type reading will enjoy this story.
All in all brilliant read, well written, good descriptive writing making you, you use your imagination to see the story. Loved it as said it is a brilliant, unable to put down book and I am sure when I read it again will feel like I am reading for the first time again and my imagination will be springing to life again and I won’t be able to put the book down
In every Shane Ryan book I've ever read, Shane endures vicious attacks and beatings at the hands of ghosts and other evil entities, but the physical and mental torture he is subjected to in this book is unprecedented. The abuse begins almost from the get-go and doesn't let up until the end. I'm becoming more and more convinced that Shane Ryan is a supernatural being. No mortal could survive this kind of torture. To say that I enjoy these books is an understatement. They are action packed enough to satisfy the most jaded reader. Shane Ryan is every man's hero. He has a superhuman sense of duty and never backs down in the face of adversity. Ya gotta love a guy like that. This series does not disappoint. It truly delivers the thrills.
This is a fast paced and unique story, full of heart stopping action and suspense. Shane Ryan goes up against a nuclear bomb, almost two thousand ghosts and the Endless Night and…I won’t spoil it for you. It’s a fun ride and well worth buying.
What can I say, Shane is a super hero. Always chasing ghost never a dull moment. And I really am starting to like Tom Coulson . They make a good team. Hope to see more of them together in other books.
I read all of the stories about Shane and they were great! From meeting him and learning about him and his h full of ghosts to the the nuclear bomb exploded. These guys know how to grab your attention and leave you wanting more.
Like all of the books by Ron about Shane, you het a good feeling when our hero destroys the bad guys. I have followed him from the beginning. He is like visiting a favorite uncle that has the best stories. Another home run in my opinion
Solid conclusion for this series. I'd love to read more where Ryan and Coulson team up. The ending was also fairly heartwarming, which is the antithesis of these books, so that was surprising and refreshing.
