What a lovely book, a great story of a couple that were college sweethearts fighting to save what has previously been a great marriage until they are faced with the struggle of balancing careers and life. I was drawn in from the shock factor of the prologue to Always and read this in a few hours as I wanted to know how Amelia and her Husband John faired.
Amelia resorts to drastic actions following the repeated, and one excruciating final, rebuff from her ladder climbing Husband that could cost them their marriage but they are in love and want to fight for what is theirs, each other. John takes matters in hand to sort out their differences and what follows is a week of finding each other again, a hot date night out that leads to a whole new and unforeseen adventure for them both and sexual experiment including some BDSM themed play. John really comes into his own and lets his mind play with his fantasies which makes this book a HOT read. I love that these are a married couple experimenting with some kinky play and shows what can be achieved once a couple start communicating, ladies this is the type of book you want your Husband to read for sure.
The story takes an unexpected turn just as you think this couple are moving on and are going to be OK, doubts creep in, trusts are tested. Then comes a catastrophe that bring them to their senses and make them look at the priorities of their marriage again. Will Amelia and John save their marriage?? Will they get there Always back?? Read Always to find out and enjoy a seriously HOT read in the process. A lovely, lovely book that I enjoyed reading with main characters that I really feel connected with. Oh and John Foster is seriously hot and sexy too.
Jae has a lovely writing style too, her descriptive manner in the writing of certain situations made for enjoyable reading. I believe this is the authors debut book and I will certainly keep an eye for her future work.
