Stepbrother, Please Stop Teasing Me! (Volume Nineteen)

Rate this book
Charlotte Scott’s secret double life is getting extra slippery in more ways than one.

First, her parents still don’t know she’s dating her muscular hunk of a football player stepbrother, Hunter Jackson. She’s really not sure how they haven’t figured it out yet, either.

Second, her muscular hunk of a football player stepbrother is very good at making her life as slippery as possible. Honestly, that part of their relationship is going great. The steamy romance scenes she used to struggle with writing come so easily now. Who knew?

She’s not sure she’d recommend this solution for everyone, but it sure did work for her…

And yet, there’s a few things still troubling her besides all that, not the least of which

• A.) How can she achieve her goal of blowing Hunter’s mind as enthusiastically as possible?

• B.) Why did she decide not to wear underwear on a family outing to the sporting goods store?

• C.) What does she want for Christmas? (Because Hunter’s asking and she honestly has no idea how to answer.)

• D.) All of the above…

(P.S. ~ B is directly related to A, but it was never supposed to get that far!)

Luckily they’re going on a roadtrip with their friends soon, so she’ll have plenty of time to think about blowing minds, wearing less underwear than usual, and the Christmas part may not always fit the season but it sure is fun.

…There’s just one more thing she needs to do first…

Tonight is the night to go dancing!

(Actually she’s very excited about this and she has some new moves to show Hunter after learning how to shake her booty recently…)

4.5 ⭐s Oops! Parents can certainly put a damper on sexy times.

Christmas is fast approaching, and Charlotte and Angela get jobs at Saskia's Midnight Christmas Magic Pop-Up Event. It's being held at the mall after closing from 9 pm until 2 a.m. Since it's a lingerie pop-up, their uniforms will reflect that. Angela is a Christmas tree angel topper, while Charlotte is a Christmas tree. Are they ever surprised when Teddy and Hunter, the only men who've attended the  pop-up event, come looking for lingerie gifts for the girls. Charlotte tries disguising herself as a Christmas ghost using a lacy gown. Angela just tries to keep out of Teddy's line of vision and just  tosses her gift selections at him. Hunter just can't figure out why he seems to be attracted to a lingerie-clad sales clerk.

At home, both sets of parents want to become closer to their kids and their stepkids. While at Hunter's mother's place, Charlotte's father almost caught them going at it hot and heavy. All four parents want Charlotte and Hunter to become closer, but as siblings, not as lovers.

The girls are upset at how Edith, their former enemy but now friend, was dumped by her boyfriend of three years. The big reveal will be at the Science After Dark event being held at the Science Museum. The dress Clarissa designed for Edith is a masterpiece!! Will it have the desired effect on the ex, or will she decide he's not worth any more of her time? Let the dancing begin!

I’m absolutely LOVING this series! Charlotte and Hunter, along with all their friends, are the best! Not only are they hilariously funny but they’re also friendly and caring, supporting and encouraging each other through the myriads of things college students can get up to. And they can get up to A LOT.
I lost track of the number of times I busted out laughing because of something that was said, usually something that wasn’t necessarily intended to be funny but definitely was. More often than not, it usually came from Charlotte who is pretty naive but, one of the things I love most is, even when she does or says something embarrassing, no one makes fun or is mean spirited in any way, they usually wind up thinking she’s so smart and what she said must have been too deep for them to understand. Either that or they assign their own ridiculously funny meanings to what she said which is hilarious in itself.
You really need to read this series for yourself, starting with volume one; the whole series is endlessly entertaining and will keep you in stitches, waiting for each new volume to be released, only to finish and have to wait for the next. I honestly can’t recommend this series enough, I’ve loved every single one of them and can’t wait to read volume twenty. 5 stars!!.

Our heroine is trying to figure out how to surprise our hero, which might be a bit easier if she wasn't also trying to avoid getting caught. Why is everything so complicated (but oh so fun)?

This is book nineteen of the series. The story was previously publishing on Vella and is now being offered in book format.

This is a contemporary romance with a step theme. The story is well written and easy to read with lots of that wonderful step dynamics that I have found in previous works by this author. The characters are great, realistic and fun. They have great chemistry, even if it takes them a while to recognize it. There is also plenty of steamy fun to be had, so what is not to like?

Highly recommended.

Stepbrother, Please Stop Teasing Me! (Volume Nineteen)

Stepbrother, Please Stop Teasing Me! (Volume Nineteen) is the nineteenth book in the Stepbrother, Please! series. It continues the story of Charlotte and Hunter with episodes 241-252 of the original Kindle Vella story. These two and their group of friends are at time so funny that you will be bent over from laughing so hard. The flow of the story is always good...with a nice pace, lots of great dialogue, fun and interesting characters and all sorts of situations.

Charlotte is slowly gaining some confidence. The interactions with the parents were a bit painful but also sweet when they spoke about each other.

I think I like this group more every book. I like how the writing is clear about who is speaking even with a dozen people and it doesn't feel labored with just "so and so said" constantly. And they really are very nice and supportive even if a bit messy.

Christmas Pop-up Event

There are some very silly moments in this volume, but it was fun to read. Charlotte and Angela join Saskia for a one-time event while Hunter and Teddy need to do some shopping for Christmas gifts. It was an interesting set of chapters this time around that I truly had a good time as the story progressed.

Charlotte and Hunter's relationship goes from strength to strength...

I'm really enjoying reading this engaging entertaining and unputdownable story and I look forward to each instalment. Charlotte and Hunter are just too adorable and the interaction with the cheerleaders and footballers are hilarious especially when girls are seeking revenge or the guys are clueless. Easy to read, fast paced and looking forward to next story.

These books are my guilty pleasure. I have lived every single one of them. It's like watching a daytime soap but in written form. I can't wait for the next installment.

I'm obsessed

I love it. I'm obsessed.
Devouring it. I'm diving back in.
Give me some more laughs, sass and weird but strangely convincing cheerleader logic.
