Whitney lands her first job via some help from her college roommate, Harley. She's hired at Harley's dad's company.

This story was a super quick read. Whitney and Reed get it on the same day they met. I didn't feel like there was that FIERCE attraction between them. Maybe if they'd spent some more time together, it would've come across truer.

Her Brainy Scrooge is a short, cute, grumpy-sunshine insta-love where Whitney and Reed fall for each other. Reed is the father of Whitney’s best friend, so the dynamics that ensue are complex, interesting, and super steamy. I love Whitney’s bold, take charge character, and I also like how they author handled them telling Reed’s daughter Harley about the relationship. This is a super quick and fun holiday-themed romance.

Good Story!

I enjoyed reading this. The start of the series and it didn’t let me down. As always Lilah writes great stories. Reed Baxter Mr. Ultra Bright Technologies himself was working right after Thanksgiving and Whitney who was Harley’s roommate all four years of college was coming in to see if she could get hired to get some work experience in her field.
